Made a trip to NFM and decided to pop in for lunch. I had a fantastic and perfectly cooked Pork Chop with Mashed Potatoes and Southern Green Beans. So good! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I don't understand the low ratings but I had a great experience.

Really enjoyed my visit here with family! I got the potato soup with salad and my daughter got a kids chicken meal. My family all enjoyed their meals, and the yummy croissants!

Fantastic service, but food was only average with the exception of the honey butter croissants. Went here for lunch with 3 coworkers. My salmon was dry and shrimp tiny and overcooked. Prices were decent for the area.

I love going to Cheddars for good, home-cooked, meals. The menu has a something for everyone, kids to seniors. I always get a salad, which are huge, and sneak pieces of my husband's chicken fried steak. This last time there was a little uh-oh when the appetizer took a long time to come out, and 5 mins later our food appeared. If I'm being honest, the spinach artichoke dip was missing the artichoke part. It was seriously lacking in all parts, and if I didn't love that dip I would never try it again. This time I opted for baked potato soup, and it was also less than. Must have been the bottom of the pot. It was overly thick, and only slightly warm. Did I complain or say anything to the kid waiter, no. I didn't. Once we were served he zoomed around and there was little opportunity. I still ate it and was paying for it, so we decided it was easier to let it go. Everything else was amazing, including my mixed drink.

Nicky G was our server. Very polite. She took our order and brought us the delicious buttered croissants. So yummy! We ordered the chicken pot pie with loaded baked potato and the lightly fried white fish with carrots and broccoli cheese casserole. We loved it all. First time trying the fish and it was great! Nicky checked on us often. She did a great job and the meal was wonderful.

This was our first time at this new location. We used to frequent the Irving location after church for so many years. We were promptly seated and our waitress was attentive the whole time and she was busy. It looked like she was the only server on our side of the restaurant. We ordered onion rings as a starter and they were huge. I got the grilled white fish lunch special and it was a large portion. We ordered the kids food first and it came out in a reasonable amount of time. Would go back

Cajun pasta...good but one piece of sausage. Doesn't sound Cajun to me.

The service was good, but the food was average. Chicken was dry and overcooked. The chips tasted very stale. The steak was seasoned well, but overcooked.

On Sunday 01/12/25, Myself, my wife and our 6 years twins went there for lunch. We set, and waited for good 30 minutes. Not single waiter came to the table. I tried to stop a waiter as she was walking by our table, and before I said anything, she said "this is not my table". We got up and left. On the way out, I saw exactly 7 employees standing by the kitchen door. I told the two people at the door that no one came to our table . He just looked confused and didn't know what to say. We left!!! After we left, my wife told me I'm glad we didn't eat at this restaurant, I asked her why, she said that the restroom is gross and filthy which means the kitchen is in the same conditions. This restaurant needs to be shut down to: do heavy duty cleaning because it needs it, take care all the repairs because too many broken/damaged things, and hire new staff. We like Cheddar's, but we will NEVER go back to this restaurant.

If I have a large group coming (30 or more) do we have to make a reservation? How does this work?

Yes. When having larger parties, it’s best to make a reservation so that Cheddar’s will have seating ready and available for your party.

We went in on a Sunday afternoon so it was not too busy at the time. My girlfriend and I like to be seated at a "low top" because she has back issues with climbing up into higher seating. We don't mind waiting for that as inside "low tops" are limited. The hostess was very nice, as they always are. She took us to the middle of the venue to seat us and then walked away while we were waiting on our server. I stood up to walk around the table so that I could sit next to her instead of across from her. She stood up to move over and pulled out the chair next to her so she could sit back down. At that moment the new general manager walked up, and without offering any explaination, took the chair out of my girlfriend's hand and said, "We need this table for another party." He walked away and left us standing there without offering us another solution, and apology or calling the hostess over to seat us elsewhere. We were left standing there dumbfounded and looking around unsure of what to do. We started walking back toward the front of the venue as we spotted another open "low top" near there. At that same time the female hostess saw what had happened to us, and she started to walk toward us. Meanwhile, another male server - acting as host - seated some people at the new table we were about to get to with the hostess. We got mad and said, "it feels like someone is playing a game on us!" The hostess apologized as she could see we were aggitated. It was not her fault, and we do not blame her. We blame the rudeness of the general manager. We left to go eat somewhere else. This is not the first incident with this general manager, though. A few days prior, we were eating in there and had a good vantage point of one of the side kitchen entries off to the left of the bar toward the ffront half of the venue. A bus boy sloshed water all over the floor while moving wet dishes in a container back into the kitchen. He didn't have a chance to clean it up because he was buy walking back and forth doing other things. No big deal. The general manager walks up and proceeds to yell at another female server about the water who had absolutely nothing to do with the spill After she walks away, he did not take any real care to clean the spot up himself. He comes back after a minute to clean it up but not with a mop or anything. He takes two towels off the bar and mushes it around on the floor with his foot. He , then, proceeds to kick the wet towels under the bar before walking away. Talk about a safety and hygene issue. This kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. He does not treat his venue or his staff very nicely. We wantedd to get up and tell the other female server that we were sorry for her. This venue would be great if they would fire this rude and sloppy general manager. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite venues to go to all the time. The experience is starting to feel cheapened and sullied now.

I started with sangria during happy hour, and it was so refreshing in this Texas heat. We shared the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, they were huge and absolutely delicious. Our serpent did an excellent job pacing the meal and making sure we had finished our appetizer before bringing our salads, and then timing our entrées perfectly. It's those little details that make a dining experience stand out. In the past, I've always ordered the protein bowls or sandwiches, but this time we were both craving steak. I ordered the filet mignon cooked, medium with a baked potato and grilled asparagus. I honestly wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and well prepared everything was. Overall, we had a great meal with no weight, attentive service, and delicious food. Our server was fantastic, she was attentive, quick and gave us suggestions. We absolutely love it when the staff gives recommendations at ANY restaurant! I think they should all be taught to ask the patrons if they would like any suggestions, with indecisive people like my wife it really helps! Our server recommended joining their app club thing so we also got a free app outta that! The restaurant is huge too, it has plenty of seating which we walked right in and were seated right away. Noise level is very low too, I liked that very much. I'm very surprised reading and seeing the photos of the folks that are giving this place bad reviews. It seems to be every one has one thing in common, from what I'm picking up. They are all using take out service. I just don't think you can judge any place for food if you aren't eating it there. It's like ordering McDonalds and taking it home 15 minutes away and then blaming them for the food to be cold. Food changes after it's prepared. I'm not saying they aren't pointing out the obvious cooking flaws but geez... Anyway, from someone who eats out a lot and cooks very well I would suggest giving them a shot if you have never been there. Just maybe don't do take out for your first visit?

We fully understood that we were early and were told that we had been checked in and that our table would be ready closer to our reservation time. We had absolutely no issue with that. While waiting, we found an area near the bar and ordered appetizers and drinks, spending close to $300 before we were ever seated for dinner. At approximately 8:20 p.m., after our reservation time had passed and we had received no update, we approached the host stand to make sure they knew we were still waiting. We were told that they were waiting for seats to become available and that we would be seated soon. At 8:30 p.m., we were still waiting. When we approached the host stand again, the response was noticeably less courteous. We were told that they could not ask people to leave their tables and that we would be seated when they could accommodate us. At some point during this exchange, we were also told that once we were eventually seated, they would provide us with complimentary appetizers. I want to be very clear: this was never about receiving free food or having something taken off our bill. We had already spent close to $300 on drinks and appetizers while waiting. I neither wanted nor needed complimentary appetizers. What I wanted was for our reservation to be honored within a reasonable amount of time--or, at the very least, for someone to communicate honestly with us, acknowledge the problem, and treat our family with respect. Offering free appetizers did nothing to address the actual issue. By approximately 8:35 p.m.--20 minutes after our reservation time and nearly 50 minutes after we initially checked in--it was apparent that there was no urgency to seat us and, more importantly, no meaningful communication about when we could expect to be seated. At that point, General Manager Landry became involved. Unfortunately, rather than attempting to de-escalate the situation or offer any reasonable solution, his attitude made an already frustrating situation substantially worse. When I reminded him that we had an 8:15 reservation and asked when we could realistically expect to be seated, he again told us that we would be seated when they could seat us. I explained that our party included a pregnant mother-to-be who had not eaten and was beginning to feel unwell, as well as a young child. There was no apparent concern or effort to accommodate the situation. When I pressed him for a more specific timeframe, Landry responded that "it's just a reservation." That statement was astonishing to me. A reservation is a commitment made between a restaurant and its customer. I certainly understand that restaurants run behind and that unexpected circumstances occur. What I do not understand is a General Manager dismissing a customer's reservation as though it carries no significance whatsoever. I asked Landry what Sixty Vines' policy would be if I had arrived 30 minutes late for my reservation. Instead of addressing the obvious point behind the question, he accused me of being "aggressive" and informed me that, if he wanted to, he could simply ask our party to leave. That response was completely inappropriate. Rather than acknowledging that his restaurant had failed to honor our reservation, apologizing for the delay, or attempting to find a solution, the General Manager chose to threaten to remove a family that had been patiently waiting and had already spent nearly $300 at the restaurant. A few minutes later, Landry walked past our group and visibly shook his head at us. It was dismissive, disrespectful, and entirely unbecoming of someone entrusted with managing a restaurant and representing the Sixty Vines brand. Ironically, the person who demonstrated the most professionalism and empathy that evening was the young server who had been taking care of us near the bar. She observed what was happening, approached us on her own, apologized for the situation, and asked whether there was anything she could do to help. Her response stood in stark contrast to that of the General Manager. By this point, we had closed our tab. The pregnant member of our party had become so unwell while we waited that she actually vomited. We informed Landry of what had happened, and again there appeared to be little concern. His primary focus remained his assertion that we had "yelled" at him. To be clear, customers who have waited well beyond their reservation time, received virtually no meaningful communication, and then been told by the General Manager that "it's just a reservation" are understandably going to become frustrated. A capable General Manager should know how to manage that frustration professionally rather than escalating the situation and threatening to remove the customers. Ultimately, we left without ever having the birthday dinner.
