    Banana Girl Roll
    Jacqueline J.

We ordered sushi from here last week. The banana girl and monster rolls were fantastic, but the others were just okay. Honestly kind of surprising because you'd think rolls from the same place would be of the same caliber. The ocean garden one was pretty much falling apart, we couldn't even pick it up. Overall a 4 though because those two rolls were really good! I'd order them again.

My favorite neighborhood sushi place. Usually come here for hh or lunch specials which are a great deal. Staff are always efficient and the spot is convenient on Tennyson. Grab a table by the street to people watch or at the sushi bar to chef watch.

Cheap sushi, it's good for the low prices but definitely isn't gourmet. Restaurant was totally empty when I stopped here for lunch after a walk through the Highlands. Service was a little slow. We all had the lunch special with 3 sushi rolls, soup, and salad. I was not a fan of the salad dressing though. Definitely works in a pinch! I wouldn't go out of my way to come back by any means.

We had the lunch special today and it was a great deal. $15 for LOTS of food, including the sushi, salad, and soup. The servers are always so nice here, and the experience is always great. This is a cute little place located on the very fun Tennyson Street. Good stop to make if in the area. I only give it a 4 because I think they could up the atmosphere a little and perhaps have a few more specials during the week, but it is like a 4.4 and rounding down. Definitely recommend and see you there.

Cucumber Roll, nigiri, portobello and eggplant sushi.

Stopped in for a quick lunch break on Monday while finishing up moving. They have lunch specials that looked interesting but there weren't a lot of veggie rolls that looked appealing because I can't digest avocado and veggie sushi options are less common. I got a cucumber roll and some of the veggie sushi the nigri, mushroom and eggplant. I would love to see more options but these were pretty good and made a nice light lunch for a hot day. The service was very good and the food was prepared well. Veggies are less expensive than fish but just these four small items made with simple ingredients were $20. However the lunch specials did seem to be a better value cost wise. I would probably choose from those next time.

Possibly one of the worst sushis I've ever tasted which is a real shame because the service and presentation was wonderful. But despite a good exterior impression, turns out it really is the inside that counts and even though salmon sashimi is my favorite, turns out they only had smoked salmon that you can buy from Costco for your bagel except it was a trillion times saltier than I expected. I have nothing against smoked salmon, but I expect sushi salmon when I go to a sushi restaurant. Ever had a mega salty Philadelphia roll? This is the place to go for that. I've never been so disappointed. The rest of the rolls were either flavorless or unmemorable.

Great place to grab economical sushi. It's not high quality. Service is meh. For the price and portion you get it serves its place Grabbed a crunchy dinner set ($20). Which came with more than enough food. Soup, salad and 20 pieces of sushi. We also grabbed two other rolls black dragon and something else. Again flavors are meh but it gets the job done! I would not say this is the freshest sushi. You're land locked in Colorado what else do you expect ? Lower your expectations and you'll be happy you stopped by

I love this place! It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's so cozy inside! The Spicy Crispy Tuna is to die for! Give this place a shot for sure! They can be hit or miss but that's like any place.

Do not order take out from here. It's my birthday and their menu looked so good! Around 7:30pm I ordered $70 of takeout and when the driver arrived to pick it up they stated they made it already and the food was picked up earlier. This is false. They were just trying to close early tonight it seems.

On my most recent visit, we waited nearly 50 minutes between courses and never received the remaining three dishes. We ended up asking for the check instead. What made it more frustrating was the lack of service. No one checked on us, and we had to flag down another staff member just to get the check. Our server never came by. It was also surprising because the restaurant wasn't busy. There were open bar seats and plenty of open tables, so I'd be nervous to see what the experience is like on a busy night. It's disappointing because the food is solid, but the pacing and service make it hard to come back.

The ramen is really good. The nigiri is also pretty good. The rolls are usually a let down for us unfortunately. That said, the happy hour menu is a good deal for a hang out, especially in large group, and the brunch menu is pretty nice. In my opinion, Mizu was probably one of the better Japanese options back in the day. However, with so many other good spots now, especially with Kawa Ni close by with a better izakaya hang out spot, it's not as attractive of an option, especially given the higher price. It really is not a restaurant that specializes in any particular food, but is certainly a crowd pleaser if you have people that want different things.

From the moment we arrived, everything about the experience was fantastic. We were greeted with a warm smile, seated promptly, and had water at our table right away. Our waitress was attentive without hovering and always seemed to appear at just the right moment. The service was friendly, relaxed, and made the entire evening feel effortless. We started with the edamame and spicy tuna crispy rice. The crispy rice came with three savory bites, and they were absolutely incredible. Honestly, we would happily return to GLO just for that dish alone. For our entrées, we ordered the Death Wish Ramen and the Miso Bacon Ramen. Both bowls were outstanding. The Death Wish Ramen had a rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles, while the Miso Bacon Ramen was just as delicious and packed with flavor. Each bite was comforting, satisfying, and exactly what we hoped for. Of course, we had to try dessert. The coconut rice pudding with cherry coulis and pineapple granita was delicious, with a wonderful mix of creamy, fruity, and refreshing flavors. It was the perfect way to end the meal. We can't say enough good things about this adorable ramen spot. GLO Noodle House delivered excellent food, wonderful service, and a fun, memorable evening. It is very cute and cozy inside, great for date night or meeting up with friends. Starting off, the small plate cucumbers were a great start to the meal as a fresh bite. Next up was the raw tuna plate. The tuna was wrapped in cucumber, great presentation and tasty bite. For the ramen, I got the Wagyu Brisket Shoyu and my husband got the Deathwish. The Deathwish wasn't too spicy, as a mild spice person, I could probably eat the whole bowl but I just added a few scoops of the spicy broth into the shoyu and it was fine ha! The Wagyu Brisket Shoyu was one of the best bowls of ramen I've had in Denver (yes better than Uncle). Deep flavor, not creamy as I don't generally favor the tonkatsu creamy broth, but still rich, big pieces of Wagyu. Egg was perfectly jammy, not too runny. Our first dining experience at Glo Noodle was fantastic and we will be back to try more of the menu. They also have some specials like a course menu which looked fabulous!
