    Green machine roll

My friend and I went the other day. No long wait for seating. The price for the ayce was very reasonable especially given how much you can order! The hand rolls are huge, but if you want to get the most out of it, I'd say keep to the starters, sushi, and sashimi. Jason P. was such a great server. Funny, informative, and attentive. If you can sit in his section, I'd recommend it. Good for casual dates and obviously hang outs with friends. The place is clean, huge, and quick to serve. I heard the owner is very particular about his fish, and after going there I'm inclined to agree.

Loved this place!! I've never been to an all you can eat sushi before, and this place blew me away! Loved that you can order appetizers, sushi, ramen, dessert, soup, etc

Who doesn't like all you can eat sushi! Make sure you got the room. The sashimi is fresh and the sushi plentiful. If only the portion control can be more consistent. I mean you've got the stir fry/Bento kind of dishes with an entire bowl worth of rice, that's overkill. And the ramen, make sure to share or you'd be stuffed having just that, because it's a full size ramen. Just try everything and be mindful of wastes. All of the cooked, stir fry/Bento kind of dishes share the same sauce. Dessert wise I thought the creme brulee was the best. So make sure you leave room for sweets!

Can't say no to AYCE sushi! I went here with a friend around 2/3 PM, so we managed to get the lunch deal which was an insane deal, honestly. (Photo of receipt added). We ate a total of 104(?) pieces of sushi together and the total was only about $50. The space here is large and I like the ambient lighting that they have. The only two things I had a problem with was the service and the quality of sushi. Service was attentive at first, but at some point it got difficult to get their attention. It almost felt like they were ignoring us? Which I hope wasn't the case, but what it felt like. The quality of fish was fine, but nothing amazing. This spot gets the job done for sushi cravings. But if you're looking for anything high quality and. extraordinary, this may not be the place. Regardless, I definitely plan on coming back with my friend, we enjoyed it!

Great value, you can't deny it. I'll certainly return due to the proximity to my house and the AYCE deals, but the experience and quality can be improved. Umai Ya has entered the AYCE sushi chat. And ultimately we're glad they're here! Dinner is pricier than lunch, the lunch deal is honestly insane and I'm sure that price will go up in a matter of time. Here are the deets: AYCE Adult Dinner: $35.99 (evening, weekend, holiday, 3:00pm-close) AYCE Adult Lunch: $23.99 (M-F, 11:00-3:00pm) Leftovers: $1 per piece of sushi Beverages: $3.59 unlimited, does not include alcohol Dessert: free dessert included for AYCE guests The restaurant is large and our server was very attentive. Some of the items, especially towards the latter half of our meal, took awhile to arrive. And when you're at an AYCE restaurant, time is of the essence! I ordered a few specialty rolls, nigiri, seaweed salad, a yellowtail appetizer, and a Sapporo to wash it all down. Everything was good, nothing blew me out of the water personally. The rolls weren't tight and a few of them fell apart. Flavors were good and hit the spot. Again, if you're expecting the freshest artisan sushi of your life that's on you. You come here for quantity. The best bites for me were the Yellowtail on Fire appetizer and the Seaweed Salad. I'd like to see the quality and execution of the fish itself improved, as well as maybe another chef on the line to improve those ticket times. Not taking for granted having a place like this in my neighborhood though!

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow! The absolute best AYCE spot in town. The last couple AYCE spots we've been to in Denver and surrounding areas have been ok, but nothing to write home about/to write a review about. Until now *cue trumpets*. I'm always a little skeptical of sushi/seafood in a landlocked state (IYKYK), but Umai Ya was awesome. Every sushi roll we got was on point and there were so many different types of rolls. We really liked the Alaska roll and the lobster roll. I know they are slightly basic, but they were done really well. It was also great that the AYCE option included noodle dishes, appetizers, hibachi, dessert, and more. The chicken hibachi was tasty and even came with the all important yum yum sauce. The desserts were so good, that I had two, and still couldn't tell you if the creme brûlée or tempura ice cream is better. We really appreciated that we could make a reservation and that our party of 7 was quickly sat. There are lots of tables and options for seating, plus this spot doesn't feel super rushed, which we were grateful for (gotta get my $35 worth). It was also nice that some of our friends could order a la carte because they weren't us hungry as the rest of us hippos. We didn't have to wait too long for food to come out and the staff were really friendly and on top of the orders. Had an awesome time at Umai Ya and will 100% be back.

My sister and I went to this new spot I found last night. The food was incredible. Fish was fresh and clean. The service was slow, but being a new restaurant seems they just have a few things to figure out. The sushi bar got extremely backed up so it took 30+ minutes from ordering our rolls/sushi before they came to the table. The appetizers were delivered quickly. I definitely want to go back and give it another try!

Umaiya is a very welcome restaurant addition to Arvada. There are not many sushi options here and especially not many AYCE ones so when I heard that an AYCE sushi restaurant was opening so close to where I am, I had to check it out! The menu has a decently large selection of sushi, sashimi, rolls, hand rolls, appetizers, ramen, BBQ, and, surprisingly, dessert which is normally not included in many AYCE sushi spots. The food itself is align with what is expected at AYCE but definitely not bad. The rice to fish ratio is much better than other places. Service was great. Our server made sure that we never had to wait all too long for anything. Management can do something to make their processes more effective/efficient but that's not at the fault of the servers. One thing I would like to point out is that the interior is impeccable. I know the place is new but they did a great job with the lighting, furniture, and everything else. It is definitely the nicest looking AYCE place I've been to. I can't wait to go back and stuff myself with way more sushi than I should!

Wow! What a great all you can eat place! We went for my cousins birthday celebration and we had a group of 20. And they were able to accommodate us so easily! (We made reservations in advance as well!) I loved the variety of non-sushi items with all the sushi items. We had a 1.5 year old with us as well. And he was able to try so many items besides the raw stuff. In our group, we also had a bunch of people who do not eat raw fish. And they left stuffed too! So much variety! And everything tasted fresh. Some of my favorite items: pepper tuna, snowy white roll and the salmon avocado hand roll. Everything was delicious. And honestly, I think this may be my new favorite ACYE place. And it's so close to me. So I call this a win! I can't wait to be back. I am already thinking about my favorites. Great service and great food! I can't complain.

Good Sushi, Beautiful Atmosphere, but Ordering Could Be Easier Umai-Ya Sushi in Arvada has a beautifully designed and contemporary dining area. The decor is sleek and modern, with cool lighting fixtures that create a stylish and inviting ambiance. It's definitely a nice spot to enjoy a meal. The menu offers a huge selection of all-you-can-eat sushi, appetizers, and other Japanese dishes. Most of the food rates a solid high 3 to low 4 out of 5. The tempura appetizers were especially good--crispy and flavorful. Some of our favorite rolls were the Tiger Eye Roll, Lobster Roll, and Dragon Roll. The tuna sashimi was excellent, but the hamachi, mango salmon, and red snapper were just okay. One of the biggest downsides was the ordering system. Instead of the usual paper-and-pencil check sheet, a waiter takes orders manually, which can be inconvenient, especially for groups of four or more. It felt a bit inefficient, and personally, I would have preferred the traditional ordering method. Additionally, while the service wasn't bad, we had to ask multiple times for ginger and wasabi since it didn't come automatically with every roll. At $35 for all-you-can-eat sushi, it's a solid option and a good addition to the area. If they streamlined the ordering process, it would make for a much smoother experience.

The AYCE option for dinner is amazing! Everything was made with quality ingredients and the menu had TONS of options- sushi, specialty rolls, hibachi grilled skewers, appetizers, salads, and teriyaki! The staff were super attentive and friendly! Excited to have this place in Arvada!

Clean, modern, open space atmosphere with a huge TV to watch live sports games. Very delicious All You Can Eat (AYCE) sushi. AYCE dinner includes sashimi also and we really enjoyed dinner here. Pretty good service that's pretty quick and they were very attaintative with service such as checking back for more order and drink refills. Strongly recommend and this will be my new go-to spot for AYCE sushi dinner. Free parking lot with plenty of space. Moderate noise level.

Ambiance is cool. Love the art!

Delivery sushi might have a weird reputation. I mean, you think of beautifully presented fresh fish on fancy plates. Well sometimes that's just unrealistic. Mika Sushi has great Yelp reviews and they're not far from our house. We ordered them on DoorDash and we were stuffed after dinner! When I say stuffed...these were some of the LARGEST sushi rolls I've ever had. Normally I can house two specialty rolls, and these were LOADED to the brim. My mouth was barely wide enough to down these GIANT rolls in one bite (keep it PG). Mexican Roll ($16.95) // spicy yellowtail, cucumber, salmon and jalapeño. A little heavy handed on the sauce. Spicy, savory, tasty. Godzilla Roll ($17.95) // spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, avocado, tuna, seared salmon, special sauce. Loaded with flavor, well balanced, filling. Rock Shrimp ($10.95) // fried shrimp with creamy sauce. Their take on bang bang shrimp. These were good, but would've been even better fresh out the fryer at the restaurant. Simple, easy, can't go wrong. I have to reiterate that these were maybe the BIGGEST sushi rolls ever. I don't know if it translates in the photos. Normally a sushi roll is sliced into 8 pieces; these could've been 10 or 12 pieces! I am full just thinking about this meal! Will have to check out the actual restaurant one of these days. Thanks for filling our bellies on a cold winter night.

Located in a very non descript strip center, Mika is serving up some of the best sushi bites I have ever had. (FYI.... my last meal on earth will be sushi.... so I have a take out menu with me!). Mika is a friendly little sushi place with a modest menu with very very reasonable prices. My bff and I headed there (at my request) for our last meal of 2024....... let's celebrate I told her. So we sat back in our seats, ordered up some sake and wine and got to it. First up, their 8 piece sushi plate with a California Roll, soup and salad for $20.99. That's right 8 pieces, a roll, soup and salad.... a killer deal.. The pieces were very nice size and extraordinarily fresh. I don't really love a CA roll (but my bff does).... and Mika's was really nice. But the biggest surprise was the miso soup..... I think there was fairy dust in it. It was sooo perfect.... I don't usually order soup (fills me up and I can't more fish). Okay, next (that 8 piece is gonna be hard to beat). We ordered the Arvada roll. We are in Arvada, just seemed appropriate (and extremely kitschy!). The waitress delivered a 10 piece roll on a platter (not a plate). Inside spider, mango, spicy tuna and avocado wrapped with soy paper. I love soy paper! This roll was lovely, plentiful amount of fish with the perfect sweet spicy combination.... wow! Gonna be near impossible to beat this one... but nooo..... Next up, the Godzilla roll with spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, avocado inside, topped with tuna, salmon seared with special sauce. The flavor was amazing, a light smokey seared salmon kinda stole the show.... but this roll came together in perfect harmony of flavors. Oh dear I am stuffed, but I WANT MORE. Next time I guess.....
