A must try!!!! INCREDIBLE and so fresh! It is takeout only - order online and pay ahead of time. Our order was ready right on time. Cute little space and very sweet workers, will be back for sure! Tempura was absolute perfection.

*based off a takeaway order* Maybe one of my favorite places to get sushi! Considering that I got my order via DoorDash, I can't speak on how what the actual space looks like. My order came neatly packed in their cute takeaway box and for some reason, the aesthetic of it was very satisfying to see and open. I got the nigiri set B, I believe? And I'm so happy that I did. Each piece had a very well portioned piece of fish perched on top of the rice. The rice itself was a good consistency and not overpowering with the fish. Everything tasted wonderful and it was filling enough for me. I'm not particularly dying to go to the restaurant itself, not for any particular reason other than sheer convenience of delivery and already having had a fantastic experience with their food from that.

The sushi here is good. It doesn't stand out, but it is good. I tried some unagi, salmon, and tuna rolls as well as some sashimi. This is essentially take-out only and the actual location is very small.

Just moved to the area and now I have no excuse to ever be craving sushi. We got 3 salmon avocado rolls, 1 salmon lover and a spicy tuna. We ordered and received our food in 10 minutes. No notes on anything, and if it was up to me, I'd come here everyday There's three bar stools that you can eat on, or eat outside around the area. Very small but Very good.

Pretty solid takeout sushi spot! This place doesn't have any sort of dine-in option, so you can either pickup or order delivery. We got it for delivery, but their online ordering menu on mobile is absolutely horrendous to use so we ended up having to get it through Uber Eats instead. I got the maki quatro with salmon, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and negitoro. The fish was really fresh and flavorful amongst all of them! The salmon and negitoro were my favorite -- so buttery soft and yummy. The spicy tuna was my least favorite, as it had some weird smoky aftertaste. The pieces are smaller than I expected, so although the price was great the portion really wasn't that much. The rice also wasn't the best texture but was nicely flavored. Overall, this spot does the job for that sushi craving, and has some great fish. I do want to try the nigiri and signature rolls next time.

The sushi was good - I loved the veggie roll they had. I wish they had more shellfish options instead of mostly salmon and tuna rolls, but that's my personal preference. The Inari nigiri were excellent and the wasabi was really fresh too. The miso was flavorful but didn't have much tofu. Definitely a fan though! They were kind and speedy with preparing the order. It was ready in about 20 min or so which was pretty impressive. Ambiance is that they're take out only pretty much. They have about 4 chairs you could probably sit and eat at but they're designed for grab and go and they're very good at it!

An excellent spot for take out sushi dinner in the city! Sushi Blossom is a strictly take out sushi spot, you place your order on their website and pick up at the designated time. The Sushi Blossom Roll is topped with seared salmon and was a delicious treat. The Salmon Lover includes 3 pieces of salmon nigiri, 2 pieces of seared salmon nigiri, 2 pieces of salmon sashimi, and 4 pieces of salmon cut roll. A salmon lover's dream! The Maki Quattro includes 16 rolls of your choice of fish. The sushi is decently priced and fresh, the quality was great! This is definitely a great spot for those craving for a sushi dinner!

Cute takeout-only spot with a team of friendly and efficient staff. Sushi Blossom's takeout offerings were quite enjoyable. We sampled the Inari trio (this was our favorite) along with an assortment of rolls - the fish was fresh, and the rice was well-prepared, dispelling any doubts raised by mixed reviews. It made for a satisfying sushi experience. No complaints here. If you're on the lookout for good yet affordable sushi options, this place offers delightful boxes of nigiri sets and inari that I recommend exploring!

I have been here 3 times. I enjoyed 2 out of 3 experiences and would have given this place 5 stars but today was not as good as normal for some reason. The rice was unusually hard and ruined the sushi for me. They should have noticed this when preparing the sushi and remade it. I did contact the restaurant to let them know about this issue and they offered a refund which was very kind of them as a small business. I will happily give them another try. This is currently my favorite casual sushi place!

Great spot for takeout sushi! The prices are super reasonable, but the quality is surprisingly fresh. Everything tastes clean and well-prepared, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Hands down my favorite sushi spot in Seattle. The fish tastes so fresh and the portions are so generous for the price. Yes it's takeout only but they do takeout so well. Everything is so neatly packed in and they even give you soy sauce containers which I really appreciate. If it's warm outside, I recommend going to Lake Union park and eating on the grass while overlooking the water or if you're eating it mid winter like I did today, it's the perfect car meal if you don't want to take it all the way home. I got the salmon lovers and everything tasted amazing. The salmon is some of the best i've had and the marbling on it is beautiful. Don't let "takeout only" discourage you from going here. They truly do care about the food they put out.

Take out & delivery spot, but seated at one of four counter seats (9/20/22)
    Marie B.

Sushi Blossom has been open for a little over a year in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood, located diagonal from KIRO7 TV station and proximate to the Space Needle at Seattle Center. I was craving nigiri sushi for a late lunch and found this highly touted spot via my Yelp app (9/21/22). I found street parking a block away and showed up during the last hour of lunch service. There's a two hour break between lunch and dinner service. **Note though starting 9/26/22 next Monday, their hours will be only for dinner service/takeout Mon-Sat 430 to 830pm, closed Sundays.** It is a tiny spot with sushi and sashimi available for takeout and delivery. However, upon inquiry at the ordering counter, I was shown an adjacent area with four seats at a narrow counter. I was thankful for that availability since I had paid for an hour of street parking. The menu is available via QR code or the menu link via their Yelp site. I ended up selecting the Nigiri Set B ($19.99) with 2 pieces of salmon (sake), 1 piece each seared salmon (aburi sake), yellowtail (hamachi), tuna (maguro), albacore (shiro maguro), shrimp (ebi), sweet omelet (tamago), broiled eel (unagi), and a large piece of the featured fresh roll. I added a Negi Hama roll ($6.25) and bottled water ($1.99). All were presented with nicely branded boxes with pickled ginger and wasabi, chopsticks, napkin and a packet of Kikkoman soy sauce. I dined onsite, but easily nicely packaged as takeout. I haven't indulged in nigiri sushi in awhile and this late lunch splurge definitely hit the spot. I was also checked on from the friendly counter person. I enjoyed the afternoon sunshine along with my tasty lunch at this shared counter with two other people to my right. While I was there, they were doing quite the brisk pickup/takeout. The nigiri pieces were nicely presented, sizable, and very fresh. Generous portions at proper temps and on point sushi rice. Kudos to the other counter person focused on food preparation! Terrific find via the Yelp app!

Definitely brought the mood down further. Food was a hit or a miss, no in between. Hit: Garlic short ribs (my partner said these were tender and a good portion for happy hour), Poke sushi roll (good fish quality and taste) Misses: First Ave Roll (sauce was just walloped on top, weak flavors), veggie and shrimp tempura (heavy and soggy batter), pink lychee cooler (artificially sweet with no strong lychee flavor), green tea tiramisu (photo speaks for itself). For all the rave reviews, I was pretty let down. Thankfully, we went during happy hour so we didn't pay full price. I would not visit here again.

All orders have to be made from an app on your phone so make sure you have a fully charged device! When we logged in the app, it was confusing to manage at first so we worked with the server to put our orders in. She had to put in our orders for us a couple of times and then we figured out how to work the system after that. To do the math for those reading the review and maximize the number of items you can order with the 90 minute window, you can potentially order up to 18 sets of skewers per person. Each set of skewer has two sticks. My hubby and I missed a few items from our order but we were getting full after my 10th skewer and his 15th skewer so it did not matter too much! The AYCE menu also has options to order zaru soba, corn cheese, and takoyaki! Presentation is great but I wish the flavor matched the visuals. The standout skewers for us were the boruta pork and the wagyu beef tongue. I was really hoping that the yakitori would be crispier and had more of a smokey flavor but I really can't complain too much for the price point. The food is solid but not like a wow, I have to come back here again! We only saw one server for the busiest part of the night, serving 8 tables all at once. She made sure that our glasses were never empty and she treated us warmly. Wile the decor and the general atmosphere are pleasant, the quality of the food would not merit another visit for me.

Mind you, this place is just a few blocks away from me but I was caught up in a work meeting and couldn't leave. 3) Tempura - Batter was tasteless and veggies were left to fry for too long (they were mushy). 4) Matcha tiramisu slice - Although a bit roughed up from delivery, was probably the best tasting item. TLDR: If you're ordering delivery, the fish is not fresh, the photos are misleading and the tempura is not good quaity and over fried. I would not recommend!

We've been to this places lately. This is the second in the week around the same neighborhood. So…read moreeven I didn't want to compare them, I did :( BUT I still have yo say they are different. They ambience of Shomon is brighter, open, and uplifting. I was surprised of how many people were involved. There were 2 servers who were VERY patient, friendly, and attentive to every single thing we needed. This establishment is small and you have to make reservations. You can find easily their door. We all sat down at the bar which makes it easier to see how food is prepared and listen to the chefs about their creations :) This gives you the opportunity to experience the whole thing and ask questions to the Team about food, species, differences, sources, etc. I am worried about uncooked food, but this really was worth it. They open with a soup which was rich and so good for a rainy day -which it was-. Then the round of makis started. It started with the "basic". But for me they were amazing since the beginning. Of course the further it went, the more noticeable the delicacy and tenderness of the meat became. I liked 1st and 3rd the most from the first part. Then the last set was just amazing. They were like literally butter melting in your mouth! I believe they cook everything previously (marinades and rice) and put everything together in that moment. At the end we had dessert. And thay tiny dessert felt so good. I didn't feel hungry even with just one bite of each. There's a parking lot on the next corner. So no need to drive around. I really recommend the experience.

I don't think I can splurge for omakase at the sushi counter, but for $20 it's totally worth! All of the pieces were super soft, fresh, and tender. It was so good I got it twice. Only small gripe is there was no wasabi and the rice wasn't seasoned. I'd get it again and I believe it's around $30 something regular price.
