If I could rate lower I would. Went to lunch with my friend for all you can eat. We both ordered individually and waited. The food came out and I figured mine was taking a bit longer since I ordered more. 10 mins goes by and nothing. I asked the waitress if mine would be ready soon since I saw the sushi "chef" not doing anything. They completely lost my order and nothing was being made. I tell her what I ordered and they take their sweet time to start making it. When it gets to me it's still missing half of what I ordered. She asks if I ordered salmon which I did not and At this point I'm over it so I just ask for the check. When the check comes they charged me full price for my order that they lost. Now I'm not asking for anything free but to not even discount anything because of the mistake is insane especially when I hear the other server discount the table next to us because they messed something up and I had to wait 20 mins for my food while my friend eats. I never tip zero I'm always a 20% tipper but I did leave a $0 tip this place was just ridiculous. They did not care at all and just took their time with everything to the point that it just seemed like laziness. As for the food. It honestly isn't very good. I can totally get behind a spin on sushi but none of the sauce was good. I ordered shrimp tempura and got breaded shrimp but the shrimp in the sushi was tempura. The roll was warm and shouldn't be. I am quite picky when it comes to seafood in general, specifically with sushi, so when I find a great seafood/sushi place - it's always worth a review. What started off as a food truck offering a limited sushi roll menu has now ventured into sushi of the unlimited variety. This new little strip mall sushi joint serves up all you can eat rolls, sushi, and hand rolls. The staff is friendly and the rolls came out pretty quick. We tried most of the varieties of sushi, which come out as small bites of fresh fish on rice; not the normal two bite sushi pieces I'm used to, but easier to taste more food! If you get the lunch menu, the rolls are limited to the more standard, simple rolls like spicy tuna, or the Philadelphia roll filled with salmon and cream cheese, and not the multi seafood, multi sauce, and filling variety. While the fish was fresh, the rice used for the rolls was on the drier, crumbly side, rather than the moist sticky rice I'm used to, so a bit of a let down. The highlight of the lunch menu was the fancy sushi bites sushi as the upside down shrimp on rice with a crab salad topping and a sweet glaze, and the hand rolls were good as the seaweed helped hold the moisture in the rice better, and there was a better mix of different fishes and seafood...the Annie probably being my favorite. Overall, the service was really good, the fish was pretty good, but was slightly let down on the rolls because of the rice, but still a good value at about $22 for lunch, although I would splurge and pay the dinner price at $29 to get the better rolls. pretty good! i come from las vegas, just here on vacation. i had low expectations, the menu i was given was a crinkled and the lamination was old and fading. the food was good! i got the lucky peak roll, service was also pretty decent. our server was gone a lot towards the end of our time there but the vibe was pretty good. very much a good vibe if you're looking for a quiet spot with some fancy and also traditional rolls. they also have ayce but i didn't get to try that. read more

This was our first time at Sushi Bros. We were excited that it was AYCE, and the local reviews were very good. The only other AYCE sushi we've eaten in Idaho. Was in downtown Boise, it was really good, but extremely crowded, loud with an hour wait. That being said Sushi Bros was excellent! We moved here from Vegas where almost every sushi bar is AYCE and extremely competitive and for the most part very good sushi. I tried the sushi bros food truck location and all rolls were made fresh to order. I ordered the lucky peak roll which I was hesitant to order at first because of the variety of fish yet it wasn't too fishy at all. I also shared the dragon roll which was very tasty also! My only recommendation and the reason why I avoid most food trucks would be to switch from styrofoam containers to a better alternative such as cardboard or paper. read more

Took 45 min to get our food and they brought it out one piece at a time. My salad, three min later my wife soup, three min later our two sushi rolls, three min later the kids bento box, three min later our rice bowl. I loved the service, the waitress was super nice and attentive and recommended a lot of different things on the menu for us. I liked the family feel of the staff. I was expecting more like a restaurant style when walking in but it's more like a fast food set up with a little sushi bar in the middle and tables around it. I didn't notice that they had a lot of to go orders. And unfortunately my sushi tasted like it was to go, as in, not that fresh. I noticed the rice wasn't freshly made that day. You're probably guessing how would I know that... I was brought up on fish and rice and I know. Luckily half way through our all you can eat the did give us fresh rice. Maybe it was also because we went for lunch but I just think it shouldn't matter what time you go into a place. It's about consistency. The fish wasn't that fresh either. We had tuna, salmon, yellowtail, albacore, octopus, and snapper. The only ones that tasted good were the salmon and the snapper. All the other individual sushi tasted like it was old. The rolls were better because they had sauces and addictives that disguised the old taste of the fish. So overall, if you do get anything here go for the rolls. I did like the flavors they mixed in the handrolls too. Don't expect fresh for the actually nigiri. read more

We didn't know what to expect when we went here but we were pleasantly surprised. We did the all you can eat and finished everything because it was that good. Staff was super friendly and food seemed fresh and generous. Loved the different combinations and liked being able to try everything including all the special rolls and nigiri we wanted with the AYCE. The sushi that I ordered weren't that bad. I ordered the spam roll which was pretty good, the spicy tuna roll which was ok, portion was very small, I thought it would be bigger, and I also got Las Vegas roll and the Las Vegas roll was small as well. I wasn't quite sure if that was the Las Vegas roll at all. Maybe it was something different that what I was accustomed to when ordering a Las Vegas roll. Overall, the food was good.
