I write this from the comforts of my ever so familiar water closet, reminiscent of my previous Costco trip that led me to the acquisition of this double sided Charmin Ultra soft toilet paper which to which has come to my aid on this particular Sunday. Sunday... a day where some spend time with god, others with their friends watching football, or tidying up around the house, gearing up for the week. It pains me to say that I find myself in neither of these categories, I find myself wondering what "Macrodata Refinement" consists of as I gently turn the nozzle on my bidet to help clean up the horrors that this restaurant succumbed me to. Wishing, hoping, that a severance procedure becomes available to civilian use by the time the nozzle on the bidet turns back to "off", for if I could spare my "innie" or even my "outie" from the current state I find myself in, one of us would be able to call this Sunday a success. For those of you who haven't watched Severance or don't appreciate my humor, this place gave me food poisoning. read more

She is not only a great manager, but an amazing creator. I just ask her to surprise me and bring me something good and it always works. Walked in from the 85 degrees outside and was immediately greeted by an equal temperate inside. Shortly after finding a seat at the bar and sweating out some water weight, I approached the hostess and inquired about the AC. She advised me that it wasn't broken, recommended we sit on the other side of the restaurant, and then walked into the office. While moving to our new sests with our drinks, I noticed the lit up blue light on the AC thermostat reading "77". At least the AC was turned down after the hostess noticed my flush skin and how weak I'd gotten since entering the facility 10 minutes prior. Service from our server, was really good however, the server who took our initial drink order brought us one lemon slice for the liter of water, but, In her defense, the order did consist of a large sake as well. Calamari was not cooked properly and was sent back. 1 of the 3 pieces of salmon nigeri was not deboned. Last, we found out while paying the bill that they offer military discounts, which was really nice to find out. We may go to a different location in the future, but we had enough heat to last us through the summer at this one. read more

I had dinner Tuesday night 1.25.22 and was overall very satisfied with the whole experience at Sushi Brokers. I was greeted and seated quickly and ordered saki and a Kierland light beer. The restaurant is hip and clean with good music playing and multiple televisions in the restaurant . I ordered the sweet spicy crispy wings as an appetizer and it was so delicious! For rolls I had the Chimichanga and the Sanchez. I couldn't decide which one I liked more! My server was excellent and I will definitely be back! read more

Hunter was awesome! Now that I got that out of the way.. Let's begin shall we? Walk in to the place and experience the vibiest high vibe energy you could find in a casual sushi bar and restaurant. Music was on nothing but the fire hits. There may have been a slight Taylor Swift sing-a-long during a portion of appetizers. The drinks! I had the requisite Sapporo on draft but friends enjoyed their hand crafted martinis and other cocktails. Beer was cold and friends were warm. Alright alright the food. Appetizers came in fast, the pan fried potstickers were the best decision we made all day. Rolls came out as ordered, no mistakes made. Yum! My girlfriend brought me here for our ladies night on a Friday evening. It wasn't too busy so we were able to get a table right away. We just missed their Happy Hour specials which was a bummer because they have really some great deals. Next time we'll have to get ourselves together earlier! Ambience wasn't too fancy but still nice enough. The middle of the restaurant has a sushi bar and there are plenty of booths and tables to seat other customers. Started with the Tempura Veggies and Crab Rangoon. Crab Rangoon wasn't my favorite because of the consistency or the crab - I prefer the crabmeat filling more creamy than minced. What I loved most were the unique sushi roll combinations. Del Sol and Surfer Roll were both awesome -- just be aware the Surfer Roll takes quite a while to be prepared. Shrimp Tempura Roll was also delicious. All of the rolls tasted very very fresh - not dry like some other local spots. Can't wait to try some of their other unique rolls. And some more appetizers because they look unique and tasty. Although I'm not a drinker, my friend LOVES their Fuji apple pear sake because it's so fruity and refreshing. Seemed like they had a pretty comprehensive beverage list. I have driven by so many times. Just never went in. Looks like it was a previous Pizza Hut restaurant. Today.... was the day!! Greeted by the sushi chef behind the counter... take a seat anywhere!! The place is quite large and so well decorated! Sushi bar is huge!! I love it! We came for lunch so we were presented with the regular menu and lunch specials and of course the sushi menu. Fabulous Kendal our server was not only attentive..... so up beat and friendly. Started with Kirin and the chicken club roll and the scallop roll. Oh dear lord they were both amazing.... but that Club roll was spectacular!! And the sauce with it was a mayonnaise/cilantro with a drizzle of Sriracha! I could just use that on everything!! Then we had the bento box lunch specials. I had the Chicken Katsu box and Husband had the Tempura Combo. Both very good for the price $9 and $10 respectively. My husband and I have lived in the Biltmore area for three years now and have desperately been searching for a great sushi restaurant that's close to our new home. We kept passing up on this particular restaurant simply because our experience of the other ones both north and south, we're not so great. This one however... Excellent! From the first time we went, the team there really goes above and beyond to accommodate you. Especially considering our current situation with the pandemic we are in. We only discovered them upon their reopening from the recent shutdown. We are somewhat of sushi connoisseurs, so here goes! Husband(half Japanese) lived in Japan for 4-years, so need I say more! Some basic info: Great HH daily. See my pics! A lot of choices 3pm to 6pm everyday. Including GF options! Friday's tend to be really busy, but they always manage to find seating for the two to four of us easily. Short wait at most. Secondly, nice variety of cold sakes! Our favorite is Kikusui and Wakatake. They also serve Orien beer, which for those of you who don't know that this is actually a rice beer and is gluten-free! Next, the fish is FRESH! The chefs do an amazing job with presentation too! They always remember our favorites and the fact that I need gluten-free sauce or sauce on side for hubby. Even though we order our usuals, they will always ask if I would like something new and or different! EXCELLENT service! The entire staff is awesome. You can definitely tell that they enjoy what they do! We are greeted by our first name and asked if we want our usual to drink the minute we walk-in the door. We highly recommend checking this place out! Tell them where you saw the recommendation! They'll probably know who we are since we go least once a week or more! I love being straightforward when me and my lady receive great service. Hunter was/is awesome, her customer service went above and beyond, her suggestions and timeliness was damn good. The sushi roll "damn good" you have got to try!!!! The sauce that goes on the roll was one I would love to have at home. If this was packaged, bottled and sold I would be first in line, it's that good! I am the sauce king in my family, I love sauces and this was is a great one. The calamari and the mustard sauce or whatever base it is, thats amazing as well. The whole staff went out there way to make sure our cups were full and made sure our experience was top notch! I'm determined to try every sushi place in the Phoenix area and with Sushi Brokers having a happy hour and a reverse happy hour how could I pass them up? A spacious restaurant, that was pretty empty for the lunch time happy hour, I decided to sit at the bar. They have a good assortment of sushi rolls, appetizers and discounts for alcoholic drinks available for happy hour. Since I shared lunch with another, I got to share apps and sushi rolls, no drinks this time around. For appetizers, Vegetable Tempura and Calamari and for rolls we got the Spicy Tuna (my go-to) and a Crunchy Roll. Vegetable Tempura- thick, crispy battered vegetables (sweet potato, zucchini, mushroom and broccoli) Calamari- tender rings of squid, lightly battered and seasoned served with a Buffalo Wing type dipping sauce. I thought the dipping sauce was very zesty and tangy and would've preferred something else. Spicy Tuna- typical, 8 pieces to this roll and good tasting Tuna with a balance of heat and warm flavor of sesame oil. Crunchy Roll- Tempura shrimp with imitation crab meat, topped with avocado and unagi (eel) sauce. I thought this roll was a bit too mushy or wet in texture. The mouth feel was too soft for my liking. I don't know how this roll cost way more than the Spicy Tuna as it wasn't as good. Service was kind of lacking/awkward, as we were welcomed from one server who told us to let him know when we were ready who later disappeared for 15 min, from ordering from the sushi chef behind the bar and had another server take care of our checks and water, but good quality food none the less for the price paid. We ordered dinner last night, lettuce cups, yakisoba, citrus sashimi and the surf and turf roll. We asked for sauce on the side for the lettuce cups, didn't happen, asked for ponzu, didn't happen. The yakisoba was terribly undercooked and noodles stuck together, the lettuce served for the lettuce cups was spoiled. I was told the owner was going to call today to follow up, no call came in. There are two Sushi Brokers locations. This one and one up in N Scottsdale area. This one is much better. The servers are much more friendler in my experience. It's typical happy hour time and the crowd is coming in, but they still served us quickly and got our food fast. The veggie tempura are fried and battered very well. Hit this spot for a date night last weekend and we had an overall stellar experience. We sat down almost right away thanks to the lovely host, Daniel. He treated us like VIPs despite the restaurant being pretty packed. Teiara was our server and she flawlessly juggled all of her tables while still giving us literally five star service. All of our questions about the menu were countered with genuine feedback from her and she helped us make some seriously delicious menu choices.
