I relied on the Yelp reviews and ate here! HUGE mistake. I will never trust restaurants' reviews in Phoenix after this. The service was cool but the food was not good at all. I was so disappointed when I left. I suspect the great reviews are from influencers or a related party. I was duped.

Wow--what a hidden gem! This has officially become my new go-to sushi spot. I came here with my boyfriend on a Friday evening, and although it wasn't very busy, the atmosphere was perfect. Our server was so kind--they even comped our edamame and surprised us with an extra discount in honor of the restaurant's 10-year anniversary. Such a thoughtful gesture! The food was incredible--fresh, flavorful fish and the edamame was spot on. We also ordered two deep-fried rolls, and they were gone so fast I didn't even have time to take a picture (always a good sign!). Everything tasted amazing. I'm so glad we found this place and can't wait to come back very soon!

I was hoping to give Sushi Bros 5 stars but sadly this visit and the last few have been a bit of a letdown. I decided to stop in for a quick lunch with my daughter. We ordered our usual, gyoza, calamari tempura crunch roll, salmon crunch roll and the shrimp tempura roll. The gyoza were nice and crispy and tasty but once the rolls arrived they were a bit of a mess. The rolls were so loosely rolled that when you tried to pick them up they immediately fall apart, everything in the center separated from the seaweed and rice. Not only were the rolls very loose and sloppy but the flavor was just not there. We used to love sushi bros but we are finding the quality has decreased and the prices have risen. The waiter was friendly and tentative and the restaurant was very clean, but it's not enough to reel me back.

    Fried cheesecake so delicious

I love this place it's my favorite place the food is amazing such great service too very nice people

There's more cream cheese in these 2 rolls than a container you'd get at frys. Lazy work

I ordered 4 sushi rolls(60 bucks) and could only eat 2. They stuffed so much cream cheese in. The other 2 rolls they weren't even edible. Americanized sushi rolls do this nasty stuffing of the cream cheese i didn't think a family owned sushi spot would sink this low to fill a roll up. I won't be going back and for the price of these 2 rolls were $15 bucks each i expected way more finesse in their work but I was sorely mistaken. Pictures below for proof

Absolutely loved this family owned spot. Quick and great service. The freshness of sushi, the service, and how they packed my food to go! Absolutely amazing !! What sushi spot do you know that has HAPPY HOUR ALL DAY!!!!! They greet you with a smile and they have plenty of seating for you inside. I absolutely loved being greeted by a smile & the patience they had with me ordering. PLEASE NOTE THEY DO NOT HAVE A WEBSITE YOU HAVE TO CALL IN YOUR ORDER. THEY EVEN HAVE A DESCRIPTION OF THE SUSHI IN THE MENU TAB

By far our favorite sushi restaurant in Phoenix! Great happy hour prices and the owners (chef and waitress) are awesome.

My car was having issues, set to go for repairs Friday. Thursday had to do some runs. Lyft to do my runs and I'm like I'm getting out the house. Sushi sounds like the plan. I pull up friendly Yelp and look to see if they are still around and they are. Lyft over and it doesn't disappoint, stellar sushi experience but it is on the higher cost side. I ordered the sea bass sashimi special, my favorite the cucumber special roll (just thought about it, this is the 1st place I had that roll). I order it at various places now. But what made my night was the Japanese old fashion. I'm going to see if I can find the simple syrup combo & make this at home it was amazing. I want to go back just for that flipping drink. We ordered a lot between us two, we wanted to indulge for dinner. Ambience inside is quaint with dim lighting. Large TV flat screen showing the Lakers playing the Celtics. Lakers got crushed sadly. Everything that was served to us was masterfully created, taste was a taste bud paradise. So I'm born and raised in Hawaii, I know there's mediocre sushi and than there are places like Hana Japanese Eatery. This place is like eating sushi in Hawaii, super fresh and delicious. See the pics I took. We ordered enough food for 5 people between my wife and I. We will be back again !!! This place has the absolute best customer service. They didn't overlook or forget anything, they provided extra napkins when they saw we needed some. They explained all the sauce profiles for the different dishes. Come to Hana Japanese Eatery and you will not be disappointed. This is your future fave sushi spot. This is officially my wife and I favorite sushi spot in Phoenix !!!

I suggest going somewhere else that is actually worth the time and money. We arrived there on time but they weren't ready for us yet. It took over 30 minutes for us to get a chef to our table and cook. We sat at the table hungry. The quality of food was not worth the prices. We ordered the steak ($50, definitely not worth it) and they did not cook it right. It was overdone. We also ordered salmon. I couldn't believe my eyes... the salmon ($38, not worth it) they had brought to our table was still half frozen! I had mentioned this at the table. I was ignored. I had to ask many times for different things from the chef due to the food not being good. I should have not ate it and just said something at the time but the waiter was in a bad mood and the chef wasn't the friendliest. The workers seemed tired and wanting to be there to do the job. I'd rather stay silent because I know how it can be working at a restaurant that has been busy. Our service... the waiter wasn't patient and had an attitude from the very beginning. I looked over at my friends and we kind of went silent. The performance at the hibachi lacked. I know the chef was probably worn out but our reservation was at 5 pm. Not late at all. We were super let down because the restaurant itself was beautiful but so many bad things happened. The only thing I liked from the restaurant was the happy hour they had a few nice drinks. That's it. The place is not accessible. there are places you have to step up, watch wear you step, it has a lot of declines and inclines. Not a lot of accessible parking. The entrance is so far away from most of the parking. Not enough room at tables for wheelchairs or scooters. It was super loud, very smoky and irritated not only my eyes my almost everyone at our table and other tables.

When we walked in it had a very fishy smell, so it kind of made us second guess our choice. But we went for it anyhow. The greeter/server was very pleasant and sat us. It was very clean inside with ample space between seat. We browsed through the menu and started with our usual edamame and pot stickers. The edamame was salted well throughout where a lot of places just put the salt on top only. We ordered a couple varieties of sake which were both good. Out of all of the things we ordered the karange skewer was just a little more oily than were use to, but still good. The spicy salmon roll had really great flavor and the lollipop roll was probably one of the better versions that we have had. The musubi was giant to say the least, it was good, but offered a bit too much rice. Overall the food and service was great and we were very happy that we ended up here!

We were nearby for a show, and decided to stop in on a Wednesday evening for a late dinner with some friends. They have a good happy hour menu, and my friends ordered off there, but I was craving sushi so I got the nigiri omakase. It came with miso soup, which I enjoyed, definitely hard to go wrong there. The sushi itself was decent, nothing crazy, but definitely better than grocery store quality. The tuna and salmon pieces were a little fishy, maybe not the freshest, but it was also quite late (~10pm) so I wasn't expecting too much. Beautifully presented, and the cuts were quite large which was nice! The food came out pretty fast, and the service was pleasant. The restaurant vibes are pretty dark, and moody. The bathroom was kind of scary personally, super dark and a little messy, so I decided to wait till I got home. Overall, a solid experience, and definitely a good choice if I am in the area.
