First timer - visited around 3p on a weekday, place was quiet and clean. The lady who helped me was patient and kind. I got a Sushi Go roll and a regular California roll. The Sushi Go roll was massive, so the ~12 price was very fair. It's a Cali roll topped with tuna (maybe two kinds? One pink fish and one white for sure) and sauces. The fish is very fresh! Sushi or Japanese food is always my favorite choice of dining. I've been to this a place lately a couple of times. Although it's a small place, it has a very good selection of items. I have tried their sushi rolls - yellowtail and tuna. I'm very impressed. The amount of fish in the rolls is very generous. Unlike other places that would give you a tiny piece of fish and a lot of rice (I like rice though. Don't get me wrong). Here they give you a sizable chunk of fish wrapped in a thin layer of rice. So each piece of sushi is a delightful bite. Apart from sushi rolls, they have other items like sashimi, nigiri, rice bowls, and also some"fancy" items, like "red river", "dragon" or "angry wife" rolls. If you're not in a hurry, take a seat inside and enjoy the Japanese decor inside. I'm sure I'll come back again and try some of the other items. read more

The owners are amazingly nice here and their sushi is so fresh. The rolls are huge- very generous portions. I love the Princess roll! Even the basic salmon role is significantly more salmon than most specialty rolls. I like this place, they serve some good sushi. It's an unassuming type of place. Small, but very good. They only have about 7 tables, but don't let that fool you. Every time I come here, I am never disappointed. The tuna sashimi and eel rolls are my go to menu items, but everything looks delicious. The price isn't too bad for sushi, so you can get a good amount. They only have bottled water and soda, so plan accordingly if you are someone who needs several refills or lots of ice (like me). It was California rolls topped with scallops and comes with spicy mayo. They give you a good portion of it, and it was really fresh! I got three different kinds of my favorites, I enjoyed the volcano California rolls, well presented delicious, also spicy flavor which calls it my favorite. Angry wife was tasty, little dry for me but was very delicious and well presented. Original California rolls here taste great . Overall, great customer service, delicious food and clean atmosphere. Waiting period was short. But portion sizes were too smaller compared to other sushi rolls around the neighborhood. A little pricey per serving. I spent $26 and they all fit in one Togo box. Service: I placed an order on the phone for 3 rolls and was told the rolls would be ready within 20-25 minutes. By the time I got to this restaurant, my sushi was being packaged for me so timing was on point! Also, the guy at the counter was super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed and even gave me punch card with extra rewards! 5/5 Ambiance: This place is def super casual with seating for around 20 people or so. It's def bright lighting on top of the windows lighting giving it a cafeteria vibe. There was only 1 other group of people there when I went, and I already felt like it was kind of loud when I was trying to make sure my order was right. 3/5 Food: I ordered the hot mama roll, cry baby2, and the tiger roll. My favorite of those three would def be the tiger roll since I felt like it tasted the freshest with quality tuna and fresh avocado. The cry baby roll was def spicy, but it wasn't enjoyable since the salmon on the top has a weird slimy taste to it instead, meaning it probably wasn't that fresh. I am not going to lie I have a thing for my newly discovered Sushi go restaurants! But what I learned today is not all of these places are created equal and this one is way better than the one I already thought was good. The true gentleman behind the counter or warm and friendly and greeted us as we arrived. When I noted that they have a lot of menu items that the other sushigo restaurants that I had been to did not have they explained to me that being a franchise there was a base menu that they had to have and then they could have additional items beyond that. I ordered a Bento Box with chicken katsu. In addition to the chicken cutlet it came also with a fried egg, a salad, California roll, as well as some seaweed salad and a couple of gyoza. One thing that will set you back when you go to one of these places is that their rice has a pink tint in it. The color comes from it being steamed with beetroots for health reasons. I do not even like beat but this tasted great. And when you find a way to make rice healthy by adding beetroot and vinegar to it sign me up! The food was great the service was fantastic and the whole experience was worth the drive which is almost three times for from my house as the restaurant that I have normally gone to. read more

I came by here after placing an order through the phone for pickup. I ordered 7 rolls and they person on the phone told me 10mins. I arrived on time and eventually waited a total of 40 minutes. On a Saturday night, they only had 2 workers to deal with phone calls, online ordering services, taking in person orders, making food, and serving tables. They are quite understaffed for what services they are catering to. The food itself was pretty good . The sushi rice they use is pink because they infuse it with beet roots. It doesn't taste any different than normal rice, but it is interesting. I really enjoyed their salmon and tuna rolls as well as their eel roll. Overall this is pretty good and the pricing seems fair. Salmon Nigiri was the same but also had brown discoloration. I don't know who looked at that and thought "this looks acceptable for a paying customer". The other reviews seem great, so maybe dine-in is different than takeout. Due to obvious circumstances, though, takeout was my preferred option at this time. The place is brand new and clean with sushi to go (hence the name) as well as a few tables to eat at. The list of sushi is pretty extensive and reasonable prices. I went for the sushi bowl which was a bit more expensive at almost $11 but it was huge. Rice on the bottom and then a ground tuna and all the fixings. The rice is a reddish pink colour as it is made with beet juice. If you hate beets don't worry you don't really taste it. Supposedly it has all kinds heath benefits so win win.
