Ordered some takeout after work and they couldn't have made it any easier. Food was ready when I got there, packed securely, soy sauce, chop sticks, and fortune cookies included.

Just ok. The food was good but nothing that you can't get else where. Service was fine. Overall nothing stood out.

We pick up from Sushi Yama basically every Friday night. The food is consistently good. The staff is very friendly and the person at the front greets me by name. The restaurant is always full. Pictured is my favorite, spicy salmon roll.

We picked up from there and I had the yellowtail hamachi jalapeño--it was so fresh and absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very clean, and we were greeted as soon as we walked in. It was busy but had a great vibe, perfect for people watching."

1st time here with friends on Sat for lunch. We ordered from great lunch menu which included a selection of bento boxes and pokie bowls and off full menu. Food was fresh, lovingly prepared and tasted great with generous portions. I had pad Thai and a salmon roll ; both were tasty and included either soup or salad. The decor was spacious and modern with comfortable booths and tables. Suitable for date night or girls nite out. Also tables outside . Easy parking provided. Unfortunately our waiter Moo was rude and slow; when he asked if we wanted drinks he tried to rush us and then told us that he was very busy and he couldn't wait all day ; then he delivered all items Except the hand rolls and when he never came back and we had finished all the other items we had to go look for him and they hadn't even made the hand rolls yet. Someone else finally delivered them and no apology was offered. Room only had 3 tables occupied so no excuses for forgetting us because they weren't even busy. Food great, location and decor beautiful , service awful.

My 3rd day in Boca Fl and my family took me to another location for lunch at Sushi Yama, and this place has the same cute ambiance. The foods is still so good along with the server. This time I try the duck noodle soup, and my family had hamachi kama, grill squid and some other sushi and sashimi. I really love this duck noodle soup. I wish I can bring that noodle duck soup back to CA. But no liquid can bring to the airport. The next time when I come and visit again, that will be my order. Thank again Sushi Yama 2 for the yummy foods again and keeping this place very clean.

We had a wonderful lunch here. The restaurant is relatively new and located on the corner of the strip. There is easy parking in the large lot right out front. Inside, the restaurant is spacious and clean. It's much larger inside than we expected. Their menu is extensive. They had a nice group of lunch specials. We both wound up ordering two different bento box lunches. Each box comes with a choice of soup or salad to start. We both opted for their salad with a ginger dressing (they have other dressings, too). My husband got their lunch special Bento #3. This box was a sushi/sashimi combo with a choice of a naruto roll or sunomono, 4 pieces of a California roll, and 3 pieces of sushi (chef choice). He selected the sunomono. The box was as lovely to look at as its contents were to eat. We both remarked that there was a lot of food in the box (compared to a skimpy one he'd had recently at another restaurant for the same price). The sunomono had octopus in it along with other seafood; the sashimi was tuna and salmon; the sushi had salmon and tuna and escolar. He was quite happy -- and full. I chose their Bento lunch #9. For this box, you could choose either sauteed or teriyaki chicken or beef. I had the beef teriyaki which was sliced tender steak pieces topped with teriyaki sauce. A cold piece of broccoli came with it. Another small box had a cold marinated bean sprout salad that was a good palate cleanser. There was also a mound of white rice. Another compartment had shrimp tempura -- two long pieces of lightly breaded shrimp and a large slice of tempura'd sweet potato. There was a dipping sauce for the tempura, as well. Both boxes contained a wedge of orange -- for "dessert". We will definitely come back here again. We had good service, and the food was very good. And the prices seem quite reasonable also. There are lots of things on the menu to try in the future.

Clean and busy establishment. They were short-staffed the night we stopped in. So service was friendly, but slow. The menu has Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese items. We thought all the food was flavorful and fresh. They don't use real crab, which is clearly stated on the menu, nonetheless that made the kanisu roll disappointing. We really enjoyed the massaman curry, summer rolls, and futomaki.

$18.95 lunch special? Yes please. The picture should say enough. Sushi was extremely fresh and was far more food than I could eat. 10 out of 10.

I can't tell you how happy I am that Sushi Yama is just down the street from me now! I use to love going to the one in Boca years ago but the drive started to become too much. I tried the Boynton one the other night and they did not disappoint. Same food quality I know from Boca and also great service. I was a table of 4. The server took our drink and food order promptly and answered any questions we may have had. The staff also had really great jokes! For example, we ordered a "happy pancake" and afterwards they would joke and ask if you are you happy now? We tried a variety of dishes including a fish entree - this was huge! We ordered nigiri pieces as well as a hand roll. The nigiri pieces were fairly large in size. I ordered 2 ikura's and as soon as I saw the size of them, I thought to myself, I should've ordered 1. The uni here was ok. Didn't seem too fresh. We also tried a sushi roll. But my favorite had to be the steak tartare. Loved the flavor over sushi rice. As a sweet treat, a lot of these items came with a slice of an orange peel. A nice sweet kick with my dinner.

Sawa Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar is in a Publix Shopping Center at the corner of Jog & Woolbright Roads. There was plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant. There is a hibachi dining room with a chef preparing food on the grill. They offer a rewards program with 3% back for members. The extensive menu offered soups, salads, appetizers, satay, sushi, Thai, grilled noodle, teriyaki, tempura, stir fry ... We all fit around a hibachi and watched the Chef put on a show. He was entertaining and service was good. We started with either a soup or a salad, my salad was good. I then had the hibachi shrimp with rice, noodles, and a few pieces of vegetables. My plate was filled with white carbs. I don't eat like this and I won't order the hibachi grill again.

Horrible experience celebrating my daughter's 10th birthday…read more When we arrived, I told the hostess it was her birthday and asked if they could bring a dessert and sing Happy Birthday. They assured me everything was taken care of. After we finished eating, our table was cleared and nothing happened. No dessert and no birthday moment. I had to go back to the hostess stand twice before someone finally came over. Eventually staff came to sing Happy Birthday, but there was still no dessert or candle for my daughter to blow out. When I spoke to the male manager, he became argumentative, talked over me, blamed me for the situation, and escalated the conversation instead of de-escalating it. Instead of helping, I felt like I had to defend myself while explaining what had happened. The female manager said it was normal for them to sing Happy Birthday without dessert first, and then bring dessert later so families can do the candle moment privately. In the end, they finally admitted there was confusion because they thought I had brought my own cake, even though I had already picked the dessert beforehand. There was no sincere apology. The only thing offered was "don't worry, we won't charge you for the dessert." But I was never looking for free food. I just wanted a memorable birthday moment for my daughter. My daughter only turns 10 once. What upset me most was that instead of helping fix the situation, the male manager escalated it to the point where I felt like I had to defend my point rather than being helped.

We left a credit card deposit for half of our meal and made reservations weeks in advance. Taki Omakase's curated 18-course chef's choice menu offers traditional Japanese nigiri and cutting-edge, innovative seafood & wagyu dishes. The seafood is flown here directly from Japan using specialized torch-searing and Binchotan charcoal grilling, some dishes finished with the opulence of genuine gold flakes. The menu celebrates bold flavors and exotic textures, featuring luxurious accents such as truffle, foie gras, yuzu, and plum. We found street parking in front & opened the nondescript door with Japanese characters. We had one of the 12 seats at tonights only seating. We chose the Delray location which is more modern than the traditional Omakase at the Mizner Park, Boca Raton restaurant . I appreciated the opportunity to engage with Patrick our Michellen star chef while watching him prepare each course with precision & love. We started by sharing Tatenyan Kitty sake that was light of fragrant with a gentle, sweetness and dry finish that was well balanced. I enjoyed watching Patrick prepare each dish some torched, with gold dust, charcoal, and minut details with tweezers. Patrick told us about each course & the ingredients contained. When I called to clarify, she said there's nothing she could do as everything on their end was correct and I needed to contact my bank.
