My friend and I went for happy hour! We got the Colonel Smith, Summer colado, and lychee mule for $9 each. The drinks were a good deal, summer colado was really sweet and cold! The happy hour food was small but a good price. we sat at the bar and service was quick and attentive. Felt like a hip bar and restaurant

Great place for a pleasant afternoon lunch or a lively evening dinner. The space is immaculately clean and airy. The bar is comfortable and well organized with inside & outside seating. The food is prepared and presented nicely and it's absolutely delicious. The service is excellent; everyone is friendly, welcoming and very attentive. I definitely recommend it.

We had a great lunch at Sushi Garage! We originally sat outside, but when it suddenly started pouring, we moved to a comfortable booth inside so we could wait out the rain. The service was friendly and the food was outstanding. Everything was fresh and flavorful.

Sushi Garage has a great vibe, especially with the outdoor seating. The menu offers a lot of options to choose from. One thing I noticed right away though, was that there were no prices listed which felt like a red flag. We ordered the spicy tuna roll, tuna chicharrón, edamame, and another roll. The spicy tuna roll and tuna chicharrón were my faves. I even ended up ordering a second spicy tuna roll. The cocktails were also very good and tasted fresh. I definitely enjoyed the food and drinks, but when the bill came, I was shocked. It was over $200 which didn't feel justified for what we ordered. Overall I enjoyed my meal, a nice experience flavor-wise, but the pricing really took away from it.

Happy Hour menu has changed. I kiss the Korean fried chicken tacos, but the salmon avocado roll, lychee Moscow mule are on point. Their mushroom, wasabi pork empanadas are a valiant effort - but would not return for them. On the regular menu the shrimp tempura roll is light, buttery and crunchy at the same time -- YUM #LongLiveHappyHour

This restaurant was on a Mezcal Bar crawl that I attended in March. It happened to be the second stop on the crawl. My favorite drink on this planet is a paloma, and whenever I see a bar offers it , I make sure to order it. The one featured for the mezcal crawl was La Santa Paloma, which I do not believe is on their current menu. It seemed to be curated for the event we were participating in. The presentation of it was beautiful. But the taste was awful. Truly, too many competing flavors. It was made with mezcal, bed bell pepper soda, aperol, and Ancho Reyes. I am not one to send back drinks, but I was encouraged to by some of the other attendees. They were a little reluctant at first but they did switch out my drink for a regular paloma with Matasanta mezcal. This paloma was much better. All the sushi that came out was great! I would 100% come back to try the rolls. For the crawl we were given large plate of tuna and salmon nigiri.

I have heard about the happy hour here for years and never had the chance to go. The happy hour menu is one of the best that I have seen . Such a vast array of choice. I loved all the rolls. The rolls come in 4 so I would recommend ordering a few. The drinks were very refreshing. Very decent pricing . I loved sitting outside . Dylan helped up and he offered great service. I am definitely coming back here again.

The food was honestly great, fresh, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the service was the complete opposite. It was slow, inattentive, and disappointing from start to finish. Great food can only make up for so much, and the poor service really took away from the overall experience. I hope they improve because the kitchen deserves better.

I went to sushi garage back in 2022 and the improvements made on food quality from then to now are astronomical. I would actually continuously go back and I did about two weeks later Go back with the mom's of my daughter's class for happy hour, and we also enjoyed the entire happy hour menu. The service was great. Keith was very attentive. The restaurant hasn't changed much since 2022, which is good because it's always been a vibe. Always very clean.

There were about 9 pieces of different cuts of fish. They were delicious! My daughter had Sake and I had Non-alcoholic beer. Both went fine with our meal. Afterwards, we were served dessert. What a great experience! Give it a try when you can. Later, we went upstairs to ASTRA restaurant and bar to further enjoy our evening with beautiful views of Miami. Parking is mostly limited street parking though, so plan ahead. This spot is more about curated tastings, sashimi, nigiri, and handrolls rather than specialty rolls, so don't expect a huge roll menu. We ordered the sashimi assortment, white fish tasting, seared salmon, bluefin tuna tasting, unagi foie gras, and a few handrolls including blue crab and negi toro. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Wynwood and want quality sushi without the overly trendy vibe.

However, if your most expensive sushi roll is $29, and it's the only roll that comes with 5 pieces instead of 10 pieces, there should most definitely be a mention of that on the menu. While our other friends who ordered literally any other roll got a full size portion, it came as a shock to the table when those who ordered the truffle Maki roll received 5, small pieces. The spicy edamame was pretty good. The sauce wasn't just spicy, but tasty. The miso soup was good as well. For drinks, the espresso martini wasn't out of this world, it just tasted like every other espresso martini you'd get at any bar. Our waiter was pretty good considering we had a large party of 24 people. At first he seemed overwhelmed, but thankfully they were able to recognize that and gave him two extra hands to help with orders, drinks, and water refills. The restaurant aesthetic was cute and had a few nice backdrops for photos. However, good luck using the bathroom. The one women's toilet did not flush and was backed up completely with toilet paper. This forced us to use the one men's bathroom, which was also backed up, but not as bad as the women's. To wash your hands there was a small trickle of water. Seems like they have plumbing or pipe issues. Overall was decent, but I won't be back.

The interior is dim and clubby, and the seating was comfortable. Our server had someone from the Miami Beach location training with her, so we had some extra attention. We started with a round of cocktails and since this meal took place approximately a month ago, I can't remember what we ordered, but we were all pleased! Off the spice menu, we had both karagee starters (chicken and shrimp). Three of us had the hama kama for the main, and Larry had the pork belly. We also ordered 2 each of the desserts (fried milk sundae and matcha cake) The food was all very good. We took a pass on ordering sake due to the wild markup on their sake menu. When all was said and done, the bill came to $500 for four people with tax and tip and while the service was certainly friendly, it was not remotely professional. The food did not all come out at the same time. Larry had to wait until the rest of us were almost finished with the mains before his pork belly came to the table. The starters were also not brought out together (although there was a less of a wait for all of the plates to arrive). They also brought out the wrong desserts (3 of one kind instead of 2 and 2). Are these major dealbreakers? Of course not and I feel a little silly typing it out; however, eating at Uchi is not an everyday experience (for most of us!) and when spending this much, I don't think it's asking too much for the service to be on point. At least there wasn't the typical waitstaff beg for even more tip since they don't auto gratuity.
