Appalling, especially since I wasn't offered water, a seat while I waited, nor was I greeted with a hello, a smile or thanked for coming in. Maybe the automatic gratuity is the very reason for the lack of hospitality here. The lack of hostility is the very reason I will never return. P.S. the sushi was decent. this was our first time eating here, we just got two rolls and two soups. this was one of the best sushi restaurants i've even been to. they also had tons of dishes besides the traditional sushi and rolls. the service was more than welcoming and amazingly nice, and we got our food very quick. when our waitress brought our bill, she also brought complimentary pineapple- which was amazing! Always a great experience! I've been a regular here for over a year now and I have enjoyed every visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is beautiful and fresh. They have crafted a tranquil atmosphere for you to enjoy along with your meal. The parking is a little bit sparse and scary (it's right next to Gravois) but it's totally worth it!
