Overall a nice option for some Korean/Japanese food in the RB area. It's very casual inside. Their menu is extensive and includes a variety of Korean dishes, sushi rolls, noodles, rice plates, and appetizers. We ordered to go and the food was ready on time. Our sushi rolls were fresh and tasty. I would stop by again to try something new!

Disappointed last visit here yesterday. We ordered a Sashimi Salad and the knife cuts on the sashimi was sloppy and the slices were little square chunks. Not delicate slices of sashimi you would should expect. We ordered a Philadelphia Roll protein style with Soy Paper. The roll had way too much cream cheese. I couldn't taste anything but the cream cheese. Service was nice and friendly. No more banchan with your meal. Disappointed. No sure we will be back again.

    Hated it...

The sushi chef named Abel, who works at happy hour, which has a bomb Sapporo and Saki deal before 6pm, makes a roll, the Picante, which is spicy AF, but also super fresh and delicious. He puts a lot of pride into the food and it shows. Wednesday and Thursday you can beat the crowd, but now that the space is smaller and more intimate, like an authentic Sushia-ya, minus the counter. Friday and Saturday is a privilege to get a spot because the community loves this places, so you should call about a table or grab take out before if the wait is too long. This restaurant also has a history of Korean dishes, which have been great whenever I venture away from sushi. The sushi / ramen combo make a great share on a date.

Came here for my dad's birthday, worst service. The server missed three of our orders, we waited for missing orders to come out until the end of the meal, which never came out. salad was full of water and brown lettuce. Soft Tofu soup was bland without any side dishes. Definitely my last time dining here.

The owner hands on behind the sushi bar. Doing what he loves.

We always enjoy the cozy and traditional ambiance here. There's a lot of Korean and Japanese patrons who frequent here. The sushi is fresh and food comes out fast. The owner is very hands on behind the sushi bar and also on the floor helping with tables too. We eat here at least once a week. The pricing is very reasonable too for the quality you get.

Don't you love it when you have that hidden hole in the wall place that you feel so conflicted whether you want to tell the world about it or keep it your secret hideaway? That's what I think of when I come to Ginza sushi. All the rolls and fish are very fresh, the flavors are amazing, the pricing is About 40% less expensive than anywhere. You will find in town. I stumbled onto this place after losing another sushi restaurant to the pandemic apocalypse and we love this place. The service is great and even though the restaurant is small, it just means you will be served faster. We have never ordered something that we didn't like and every time we try something new it's added to the list of options that make it more difficult to order. Give this place a try and you will love it.

I love Ginza Sushi, the food is always high quality and fresh, they are quick to bring your food and are very kind. Service is exceptional, this time I ordered takeout and the food was just as good as in person. The inside is nice and you can watch the sushi chefs making the food. The food is also reasonably priced. My sister use to work there and spoke very highly of her employers, they keep the business clean and good quality!

Way too hot to stay home and cook dinner with this heatwave pushing temps well into the 90s inland. Decided to try this restaurant when it popped up during our Yelp search. And we're glad we came in for an early linner. Here's what we ordered: -- Black bean noodles: This is posted as only being available Monday-Thursday from 11am until 3pm, but our waiter kindly offered to check in with the kitchen to confirm they could make this. Thankfully we were able to experience this awesome dish! I cannot speak about authenticity, but having tried black bean noodles at several restaurants over the years, I can say the version offered here is some of the best we've had. The delicious black sauce perfectly concealed the piping hot noodles underneath, which remained firm. After a good mixing, as is the appropriate way to enjoy this dish, it was a lip-smacking good time. -- Chicken Katsu Curry: My girl ordered this and loved how it didn't include any potatoes, which I found disappointing since it's my understanding that this dish is traditionally served with potatoes. We agreed to disagree on this point. The chicken katsu here was crunchy outside, yet the chicken remained surprisingly moist inside. After being disappointed so many times by the dry chicken served elsewhere, I normally do not order chicken katsu and opt for pork katsu instead, which is more forgiving in my opinion. An extra helping of curry is served in a gravy boat so you can precisely control the volume of sauce you want to drown your chicken katsu and rice wjth. I thought it was a nice touch. -- Pork Belly and kimchi: Now this was another great dish! Next time I may have to order two servings so I don't have to share with my lady. Sorry. Not sorry. I'm sure she would agree. This dish was served sizzling on a hot stone and I couldn't get enough of the perfectly seasoned pork belly. I was impressed that the kimchi managed to remain so firm sitting beside the pork belly on the hot stone. This was a great casual dinner spot we only discovered thanks to Yelp and I hope to come back soon. Cheers!

I have been coming here for the last 5 years to order the Korean soon tubu (tofu stew). I come at least once a week and I have also lost 21 lbs eating soon tubu and sweet green salads. Today I tried the hot stone bibimbap. The bibimbap is not as large in quantity as some places, definitely a portion for one but it's very good. As for the tofu stew, I get either beef or pork which is fire roasted, very fatty and melts in your mouth.

Super friendly staff. Fantastic service- very kind owner Tony - let us all try a bite of a tuna sausage. I came in a bit late, but they were super accommodating and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend it. I had the dragon roll and the caterpillar roll. Very good vibes. Huge rolls. Very filling

Just finished my late lunch here! Great place! Really nice people! The rolls were 10 out of 10! I also liked that the place was not crowded and I really got to relax with my family! The dim music is perfect background noise! Will come again here for sure

There's a lot of businesses around this area so I can see Sushi Kami being a popular spot for a go-to lunch outside of work. We came for dinner and got seated right away and it wasn't too busy at all. It was nice but still casual at the same time if that makes sense. I will say the parking was a little tight and we had to make a bit of an awkward U-turn to get to the restaurant but the lot wasn't that full so it wasn't too bad but I could see this being trickier in the daytime. I really enjoyed both the spicy tuna and salmon. I've had a lot of weird spicy tuna but this one hit just right. It's always hard to find that perfect balance between fish and spice but I really enjoyed this one. The salmon was good too. The standout was definitely the tempura we got as well. It was large and came out hot and crispy and perfect. This is the type of sushi restaurant I could take people to who don't necessarily like sushi all that much. There's lots of options on the menu including bulgogi (next time I shall try!) and really good combos for people to enjoy. Ambiance is chill but still has that fun sushi vibe with the displays of fish (and I even saw some creative fish decorating on the walls which I thought was a nice touch) Service was nice and they always refilled our waters without us having to ask. I enjoyed the food and the vibe! Would definitely come back to try more ...and brings others along too!

The sashimi was pretty good, but quality wise the sashimi champloo was definitely superior. -Salmon mango roll ($9.50): This had spicy salmon, mango, and ume furikake. This was quite tasty, and definitely had a kick to it. -Maru Maru roll ($9.50): This had imitation crab meat, shrimp tempura, and avocado. The Wagyu was what convinced us to order it, but it didn't have the rich flavor or texture you'd expect from Wagyu, so it ended up being disappointing. Overall, the fish quality was just average for the price. However, I loved their kizami wasabi-it had a bold, spicy kick that really complemented the sushi. The restaurant has a trendy atmosphere and friendly staff, but considering the cost, I expected higher-quality fish and more memorable flavors.

It was Sunday night and we were driving back to Escondido from Anaheim. GPS says they close at 9:30 PM. We roll in at exactly 9:05 PM. I jokingly ask, "For alcohol?" because I wanted TWO damn sushi rolls, not a 12-course feast. He says with a smile, "No. Last call for food and everything else." Okay... easy day. We already knew exactly what we wanted. Simple order. In and out. No biggy. Then came the look. You know the look. The "damn it, I want to go home, why did customers show up during business hours?" look from management and the sushi chefs. Next thing you know, manager says we cannot be served. Wait... what happened to "last call in 10 minutes?" Suddenly now it is, "You missed last call at 9:00 PM." It was 9:06 PM. So your establishment closes at 9:30 PM... but actually closes at 9:00 PM... but also has a last call in 10 minutes... but also refuses service? Got it. Crystal clear. Listen, if y'all want to leave at 9:00, then change the damn hours to 9:00. Do not advertise 9:30 and have people driving 70 miles just to get hit with attitude and false hope. So we walked out and went somewhere else. Being turned away wasn't the problem. The problem was being treated like customers showing up during YOUR posted business hours was somehow our fault.
