Came here on a Friday night and was seated right away. The price is $14.95 for kids and $27.95 for adults. Great deal for AYCE sushi! It's BYOB as well which makes this place the perfect hang out dinner spot. We ordered three rolls and 25 piece sashimi. Order came out around 30 minutes after. The appetizers was quick and came out within 10 minutes. Everything was great! And would come again. read more

Our first order of a few appetizers and pieces of sushi was fine. We placed another order, and it never came. We sat there for over 30 minutes with no food, no sign of food, nobody checking on us. A gentleman stopped by to ask if everything was OK and we told him our food didn't seem to be coming. He nodded and walked away. Another 15 minutes go by, STILL nothing. Meanwhile the tables next to us are getting food, getting checks, leaving. The restaurant wasn't even particularly busy. It was so egregious it felt almost like they had to be ignoring us on purpose. Finally, after 45 minutes of no food, we had to throw in the towel and go home to relieve our babysitter. We had to practically shout to get somebody's attention to just bring us the check. They finally found our lost order in the kitchen and offered to make it. We told them to forget it and just paid the check -- which reflected a discount, but frankly not enough of one -- and left, still hungry. This was actually our first time here in quite a while because we felt the service wasn't great last time. We should've stuck to our instincts, and won't make this mistake again. 3.5 stars for the food we did get, -10 stars for the service and getting what we paid for. read more

I usually go to Mr. Sushi, but the quality has significantly degraded since they opened. I tried this place, and the quality is very high. They don't offer bubble tea and a few other appetizers, but the sushi here is much higher in quality. The service is strong, and there's not much of a wait compared to Mr. Sushi. read more

It was fine. It was FINE. Perfectly rated at 3 stars. AYCE for $26. I've spent $50 or more person at a fancy sushi place, and this in no way compete with that dinner. But at half the price, we got plenty to eat and I didn't have to eat ANY horrible cream cheese filled sushi. When you sit down, you are given blank menu choices - just cross off what you want. Start off with your choice of appetizers and work your way down the list. I enjoyed the seawood salad and the spring roll, the calamari not so much, shrimp tempura was hefty and crispy, loved the red snapper teriyaki. Spoiler alert: I didn't go for sushi! Now if you want a review of sushi there, I can't help you. However, I tried the regular foods, chicken teriyaki and chicken fried rice and pork dumplings. I can only speak about these. I did takeout and was not very impressed with the food. It wasn't bad but it also wasn't that good either. It was standard fare. Now obviously they are called Sushi King for a reason! Just don't eat the other stuff, just meh, in my opinion. Will not return as I don't like sushi but we were desperate that night and it was nearby. read more

Over the weekend, I made the mistake of ordering from Sushi King, when I meant to order from Mr. Sushi. Strangely, I have never been to Sushi King before, so I don't know why this place came to mind when asked what I wanted for dinner. As we sat in the parking lot outside of Mr. Sushi, I realized my mistake. Thankfully, the two restaurants were located only less than 3 miles away from each other. Honestly, the food at Sushi King was pretty good. And the prices were cheaper than other sushi restaurants. We got a bunch of different sushi rolls and maki rolls, and ate to our hearts and bellies' content. read more

Sushi King is an AYCE sushi restaurant with different base pricing Monday-Thursday ($25.95) and Friday-Sunday ($27.95). There is also children's pricing. We went on Sunday evening around 5PM and it was not too busy. They give you a pen with the sushi order paper. The service was good overall and the sushi came out quick. Sushi and appetizers were okay but nothing really memorable. We definitely missed the dinner rush as a slew of people starting flowing in around 6PM. There is a parking lot. 3/5. read more

This is my go-to sushi spot whenever I'm in town. Although I've had better quality of sushi, I'm always down for AYCE. The quality is about average but it's better than buffets. The Staff + Atmosphere: The staff are prompt and on top of placing orders in and refilling your water. I appreciate the quality of napkins that they have though, it feels like fabric. Their taste of music is pretty interesting, I heard All About that Bass being covered on the violin. Sushi Recommendations: My favorite rolls are the Butterfly Roll, Yellowtail Scallion Roll, Kingdom Roll and Yellowtail Jalapeño Roll. Pricing: I understand that prices have gone up but considering the quality of sushi you're getting, I don't think it's reciprocated with what you're paying. I've had better quality of rolls and fish in North Jersey for the same price. I think they can do better on this. I've been getting a lot of rice in my rolls with small slabs of fish. read more

I'll make it short and sweet: - no greeting, no politeness, no one speaks English well - slow service, waited an hour for my initial round of sushi; 45 minutes second round; and 10 minutes for the check after we were frustrated - poor quality fish - completely missed two items off our order; when confronted, they said oh ok, doing nothing about it - too much rice - bribes for 5% off your check if you leave a positive review; not this time Here's a photo of an empty plate which I used to play with soy sauce as I waited Safe to say we will never be back! read more

Went here for AYCE last Sunday and was very happy with our experience. We were skeptical going in as we had read reviews saying that the service was slow, and we have gotten take out from here before and seen this to be the case at times. But our service was great! It was my fiancée and I's first time doing this kind of meal, so it took us a round or two to get the hang of the ordering. I started with the shumai, the crispy rock shrimp, a shrimp tempura roll and a piece of shrimp tempura. All were good, could have done without the shrimp tempura but I will adjust next time. The crispy rock shrimp were delicious, I'm still thinking about them! My fiancée got a crab tempura and a Phoenix roll to start and enjoyed both. We got a few more specialty rolls that we enjoyed (my favorites here are the butterfly roll and the black angel roll). Finished the night with some chocolate ice cream and some fruit for both of us. Overall a great experience and would go again! read more

We went here for lunch. You order from the menu and they'll bring the food out. The noodles and miso soup are extremely bland. The sushi has too much rice and over seasoned. All we could taste was the seasoning from the rice on the sushi. If the rice is not prepared correctly it will ruin the taste of the sushi. I ordered my meal ahead of time through DoorDash, and it turned out to be an easy and quick pickup with the food being hot and fresh when I arrived. The wings are by far the best Korean fried chicken I've had, with every piece packed with juicy meat. This is exactly what you expect when ordering this dish, and the honey sesame sauce did not disappoint one bit. The wings were perfectly coated, and there was still a pool of sauce for dipping at the bottom of the container. Next time I will definitely turn up the heat and try one of their spicier sauce options to experience that flavor profile. The nicely fried mandoo pork dumplings were full of a delicious filling mixture that paired perfectly with the soy vinegar dipping sauce. The dumplings had a crispy exterior that gave way to a flavorful, well-seasoned interior. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that I didn't discover Dolsot House sooner.

It remained packed our entire time there. BYOB so my girlfriend and I brought two beers with us and they provided glasses. We ordered three main dishes and two appetizers and all of the food was amazing. Soups, dumplings, bibimbap, bulgogi... all flavorful and delicious. Despite the crowded dining room, everything came out quickly. The servers were all incredibly kind, efficient and professional. This was my first time back here in over a decade but based on our experience, I hope to come more regularly in the future.

Enjoyed being able to see the dumplings being made through the windows toward the back of the dining room. We shared a number of items, including the special Spicy Beef Soup Dumplings, the traditional Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings, the Pan-fried Crispy Noodles with Vegetables, the Scallion Pancakes, the Cucumber Salad with Garlic, and Pan-fried Pork Dumplings. All were delicious--I could eat those cucumbers all day! My fellow diners also tried one of the special teas--rose strawberry with jelly, which they enjoyed. Will definitely return with more friends in tow.

The dishes are fresh and rightfully cooked whether steamed or fried! The decor is slightly fancy enough for romance but contemporary for group gatherings. I had no problem with the servers and was grateful for military discount! I would defiantly come back to try the other options.

My family was kind enough to pick up a container to go for me since I had heard locals rave about this place. The wrapping is the thick, doughy kind. The pork filling was well seasoned and flavorful. The broth was not too salty. It freezes well if you have leftovers and want to save for another day.
