Wanted to try Sushi Koma for the price of $19.95 for lunch. Can't beat that. Sushi was ok, a lot of nigiri's had garlic sauce or some other kind of sauce. It was just ok to me. My kids also said it was just ok. The fish to rice ratio was a lot more rice than fish. Our usually spot is more fish than rice. I enjoyed the tuna nigiri, salmon nigiri, salmon belly nigiri, tuna belly nigiri. They were edible. Service was good. It was a lady with Golden State Warrior hat. She was friendly and compassionate. Restaurant was clean and tidy. My 9 year old complained about the bench seats not having cushion but he forgot about it once the food came out. Not sure if they put sauce on the nigiri's to mask the fish but nothing was fishy smelling and it was just ok. Thank you Sushi Koma

We were very disappointed with our experience at Sushi Koma. The first issue was the restrooms. There was no toilet paper, no soap, and no toilet seat covers, which was concerning from a cleanliness and hygiene standpoint. The menu was also very limited, and unfortunately, the quality of the food did not make up for it. The fish did not taste fresh and seemed more like it had been defrosted. Several pieces were served at room temperature rather than chilled and refreshing. The nigiri was especially disappointing. The hamachi was warm and mushy when I expected it to be cold and firm. The salmon was also warm and tasted like it had been sitting at room temperature. The rice portions were excessive and the rice was falling apart, yet they charge for uneaten rice, which made the experience even more frustrating. Even the water was room temperature and had a strong tap-water taste. As far as the atmosphere, the restaurant was very bright and lacked much of a vibe or ambiance--it felt pretty plain and boring. Between the restroom conditions, limited menu, room-temperature fish, poor texture and freshness, and overall atmosphere, we left very disappointed. Unfortunately, this was not the fresh sushi experience we were expecting. The mochi desert tasted freezer burnt and old.

Our server was very sweet. Nice place. Clean and cool. Came for lunch on a Saturday. The food was good. Fresh. Great selection for the ayce price. Highly recommend!

The lunch special pricing was soooo worth it! Every plate of sushi was absolutely delicious and that garlic tuna and albacore sashimi was amazing! No complaints for the food but the service was weird.... We just got unwelcome energy from the staff it was a bit strange, maybe it was an off day.

FIRST OFF! WOW!!! We originally were wanting to go to Sakana but the line was 2 hrs so we found this place instead! Blown away by their quality of fish! I'm surprised there isn't more people here!! My favorite roll was the Jane and Ponzio (fresh fish)! They brought us some carpaccio salmon + tuna ON THE HOUSE! We literally had to order more!! It was so good!! The sauce was amazing! The sitting areas are modern and very comfortable for large gatherings or intimate date night! Def coming back soon!:D

The rolls do not miss! My husband and I tried more rolls this time with the half roll option. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We absolutely will make the 30-40min drive for this place. Especially their unbeatable AYCE deal right now. Don't wait, go now!

This was our first time trying out this sushi restaurant and it definitely hit the spot. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, so we were able to get seated immediately. The server let us know that they were currently offering a $19.99 AYCE lunch special, which I thought was a really nice incentive. Their menu was quite extensive so we narrowed down our "must-have" items that we always tend to order when we go out for sushi. We started off with a few of their appetizers, nigiris, and sushi rolls. The food came out really fast and our server was very attentive to our needs. All of the appetizers we tried were so tasty and very flavorful. The sushi was presented elegantly, tasted very fresh, and were proportioned well. As for the rice, it kept falling apart every time I would dip it in the soy sauce. Overall, this is a solid spot for some reasonably priced AYCE sushi.

Our daughter and son-in-law brought us to celebrate our anniversary and we were all very pleased with the food and the service. Everything we ordered was delicious. The rolls were fresh and came out in a timely manner. We were glad they offer half orders, so we were able to try several kinds of rolls. Aside from rolls we had squid sashimi and salmon sashimi both were excellent. We also ordered miso soup, which was not as hot as we like but still good. As well as edemame. The tempura veggies and shrimp were crispy and not overcooked. The restaurant was roomy and well appointed.

front server/hostess was not welcoming when customers entered the place, wasn't great at directing where they should wait to be seated. went during lunch hour, fish didn't look fresh and they use regular rice for their sushi. green mussels are the frozen kind, it was wet when served. go somewhere else for sushi, there's better options in the city!

Stopped by Sushi Koma for Saturday lunch and tried their $19.99 lunch special that's running right now. Service was decent and food came out promptly. There was a small gnat in my water (not ideal, but it happens), and the staff handled everything fine after that. Food-wise, it's a solid option -- approachable, satisfying, and great if you're new to sushi or lean more toward rolls than traditional nigiri. The lunch deal definitely makes it worth checking out for something casual and easy. That said, if you're a true sushi purist who's picky about your fish quality or cut, this probably isn't the spot for you -- it's not quite that level of refinement. Personally, I probably wouldn't go back, but I can absolutely see why others enjoy it.

We enjoyed this place. It was all you can eat for $19.99 and then we ordered an al a carte udon for my youngest son while my eldest son ate his own lunch that we packed. I really liked how this place let the kids eat Al a carte and bring their own food. Some places give you a hard time and require you to pay half price for a child even if they don't eat anything, so that was good service. We went at 12 pm on Sunday, and it wasn't super busy. So that made the food come fast and it tastes good. Fish was fresh and portions weren't too big so you could order more and taste things! Thus, we would come back! It's usually $25.99, but there was just a special this month. Enjoyed it!

The $20 AYCE lunch special makes it worth the commute off strip but note it's a limited time special. Might not be worth going out of the way otherwise. Fairly wide menu for AYCE. A range of appetizers, nigiri, and rolls. Would skip the fried apps as they're of the frozen pedestrian variety. But special shout out for the yellowtail nigiri which was very tasty such that we got a second round of just it. Salmon roe was satisfying. The one-time appetizer specials of the seared tuna carpaccio and the sashimi roll are worth an order too. The crowd peaks between noon-1:30 where the kitchen can get a little backed up. Pretty efficient otherwise albeit you can only order with one server in the restaurant. Still overall a good deal for the current lunch promo.

Sushi Koma and its staff are amazing. I have been coming here since it opened. The owner Chris is a sushi ninja. His seared tuna carpaccio is to die for... His eye for the best cuts of fish is impeccable. He is even the avocado whisperer, according to to my vegetarian friends. Service is fabulous. This is my favorite sushi place in Vegas ever.

The best Ayce sushi place in Vegas!…read more If you're tired of the boring buffets on the strip, I highly recommend to visitors to check out this restaurant off the strip in Chinatown. Food (4.5/5) I strongly recommend to order the nigiri and stay away from the rolls if you want to get your moneys worth. The nigiri selection is pretty huge with multiple unique cuts of fish that other Ayce sushi places usually don't include (surf clam, ono, yellowtail toro, uni). Although some of the premium items you're only allowed to order once, it was pretty satisfying to be able to even try it as most ayce sushi places don't even include these items. The nigiri is on the smaller side (maybe 1/2 the size of regular size nigiri) but I appreciate how they didn't include a ton of sushi rice with each piece. It seemed like this restaurant wanted you to get your moneys worth and not have you fill up on rice! Highlight items are definitely everything on the special nigiri order menu selection, eel nigiri, and seared salmon. The regular tuna nigiri was just alright and my group did not like the ikura as it was a little off tasting. They also include free ice cream at the end and the affogado was pretty good! Service (4.75/5) The service was pretty good for such a small and packed place. We went right at opening and it was completely full with a long wait outside on a Sunday afternoon. The best part of this place is that there is NO item ordering restriction so essentially you could order 100+ nigiri for a single round of ordering. Most ayce sushi places I've eaten at have very shady rules that try to screw you over so you can't order a lot, but this place took the opposite approach so I can see why it's always busy! The staff was very quick at bringing out the food and having you order again. There is a 90 minute time limit to eat so start ordering right away. Ambience (4.5/5) This restaurant is located in a strip mall plaza in Chinatown and the parking was limited, but once inside this restaurant was pretty cute with the decorations. It felt clean and had a nice cool A/C going inside. Value (5/5) 20$ lunch until 4pm on Monday-Thursday and 35$ all other times. The best value AYCE I've had and better than anything I've paid for in California. Overall (4.68/5) I would definitely return to Vegas just to eat here again and I thought the food quality was better than any Bacchanal or Wynn Buffet on the strip.

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze.
