We tried a crunchy spicy tuna roll which was really good but filling. The portions and prices of the rolls are decent. There are several options for hand rolls, simple rolls, sushi pieces and nigiri as well. There was a lot of different appetizers as well. The inside is super cute and lit up with decorations, really friendly and helpful staff, and easy to find location. Its in a strip mall but there is plenty of parking. Went with a group of 12 for a birthday. The staff were friendly and sat us at one of the hibachi tables so we could all sit together. The restaurant was clean with a modern look. The food was delicious and looked very presentable. The waiter was funny and very hospitable. I had the hamachi nigiri, seared salmon nigiri, and the awesome salmon roll. It was all very good. The hamachi and seared salmon was "melt in your mouth" delicious. Service was quick and friendly. The music is a little loud for my taste but maybe that's because I'm old. I tried the mixed tempura. This is the reason for the four stars. I was disappointed to get just one shrimp in the mixed tempura. The veggies were good but I wanted one more shrimp. Also, it was a little too crunchy for my liking. I was craving sushi and this spot popped up in the area. I came in for lunch after working out so I was starving! It was busy but not packed on a Saturday afternoon. The bar seating was empty so I opted to eat there. The sushi chefs behind the counter were super friendly and mostly spoke Korean. I ended up ordering the akimoto (monkfish) appetizer and dinner sushi combo B which comes with nigiri and your choice of roll. I chose the yellowtail fashion roll. I enjoyed the akimoto. It came with 3 pieces topped with roe and it tasted the way it's supposed to. The nigiri was a good selection of fish and the quality was good! I liked the yellowtail roll the least. The fried shrimp wasn't crispy and I didn't really care for the spicy tuna inside. I am not a huge fan of rolls so I wasn't expecting much anyway.
