One of the best sushi in the area. They have great deals, quick service and their food is always a high quality. The staff are friendly and if you go enough, they remember you and ask about how your family or you are doing. We frequently bring our kids and they have chopstick helpers for them. They've made an avocado roll upon request for one of my finicky kiddos. For those that like spicy, ask for any roll to be extra spicy cause it really makes the rolls pop with flavor. We usually come before the dinner rush, as there's mostly bar seating and one bigger group table (party of 8). Came to Sushi Paradise before my nail appointment next door. Had some time to kill and it was lunch time, and I've always been curious about this place, so why not! Surprisingly was a ghost town, but after I came in a few others sat as well. Was able to be seated immediately and the staff here are all so nice! Both waiters I encountered were super sweet and the waitress was also kind. Lots to choose from on their menu and their lunch special called my name - two rolls to choose from off the menu for $22. Pretty solid, imo. I got the Red Dragon (shrimp tempura, imitation crab, topped with spicy tuna) and the Sex on the Beach (spicy tuna, cucumber, topped with spicy crab and salmon). I will say all of the fish tasted nice and fresh and I enjoyed both rolls. I favored the Sex on the Beach more, the whole roll was just better overall. The Red Dragon had good flavor, but the shrimp tempura tasted more chewy/soggy than it did crispy. Almost kind of stale, so that was a downside to that roll. Overall it's pretty good and I would definitely come back to try more of their menu - the AYCE seems like a solid deal! read more

I really think that this is probably the best all you can eat sushi in the area. It is a little bit more expensive than say sumo or some of the other places in Seattle. But the food is fresher and it's much more intimate there's not a ton of people like trappers has where you're waiting on an order forever. And there's no tablets where you never get to interact with the sushi chef which I think is part of the experience of ordering sushi. Everything here is always fresh delicious and I end up eating way too much every time I go plan for a budget about $80 for two people but if you eat more than three or four sushi rolls then you're totally getting your money's worth. Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Raw rolls of Sex on the Beach (spicy tuna, cucumber, topped with spicy crab and salmon) and Red Dragon (crab, shrimp tempura, topped with spicy tuna) were our two favorite rolls. The textures were good and the ingredients tasted well. The first definitely had a kick Cooked roll of Double Double (crab, shrimp tempura, avocado, topped with ebi) - the avocado only covered half of the roll and it has a ginger sauce drizzle on top. Deep fried roll of Tornado (spicy crab, spicy tuna, and shrimp tempura) - the texture was off since the rice was a bit mushy but the outside is fried well and the spiciness does come through Ambience: 4/5 - bar tables were a little sticky and it was oddly empty for dinner time. I went there for the first time last Saturday evening-- going with my brother to one of his favorite sushi places. The staff were personable, friendly & attentive. The waiter/host and sushi chef worked together to ensure my food allergy was well accommodated. What's unusual is that even though I could only eat one of their sauces, I didn't feel deprived of good tasting food with truly enjoyable flavor - something other sushi restaurants have struggled to provide. Keep driving. I went to a this place on Mother's Day weekend because I love sushi! A huge disappointment from the start. I was waiting for my fiancé and son to come in to eat. The waiter comes over to ask if he could get me some water. I nicely asked him for 3. He gave me a strange look. I told him I was waiting for others. I was trying to ask him if he could bring chopsticks for us and that one was for a child but he was walking away as I asked him. He seemed annoyed. Very rude! Clearly it has been sitting there for some time. Not only was the sushi not great, there was some that had packaged tuna pieces. Never in my life have I had this. I couldn't even eat it! This is a great lunch spot! I love the creativity, but just about everything has imitation crab in it. There are some raw rolls. The selection is limited, but the rolls they do are very good. There's no half stepping either. All of the rolls are wonderfully rolled. No falling apart once you grab it. You don't immediately feel like the countdown has started once you pick it up. The staff here is awesome. Very friendly and really take pride in what they do. Make great conversed great for a show. They are very clean and tidy. Small, but with room to move around. There's no bottle neck or sliding against people you don't know to get by. There's only light coming through the front door so no windows. About 10 minutes later, and older female approached our table to clarify our order. There seemed to be confusion between 2 or 4 sushi rolls. It appeared that our initial order was never communicatied. $19.95 for two avocado sushi rolls is pretty expensive for a quick lunch. I love edamame, but $9.50. Pretty outrageous prices. When we first started coming they had a 2 roll special for $15, which was a great deal. Now the same deal is $20, which was fine until today. We've always gotten the two roll special and split it, which was perfect. Now the 2 roll special is per person. We were unexpectedly charged much more today, even though we are regulars. The chefs are very friendly and helpful, but the older Korean woman who runs the store is not. Her customer service is usually subpar at best. I don't expect a lot of conversation but a smile can go a long ways beyond language barriers. We were regulars, but now I don't know if we will be back; $24 for 2 California rolls is just a bit much. read more

We never waited more than a minute for a roll at any time. And our dinner was great. It was a quiet crowd in there. It was definitely an enjoyable evening out, and now we have a place even closer to home! They even asked how much I ate to make sure I was still getting a good deal. Who does that? Okay i was skeptical at the prices for sushi being so low. I am PICKY about my sushi and raw fish being fresh. This was some of the freshest fish and the rice like it just finished cooking. I really enjoyed that the rolls were fresh and not totally covered in sauce to drown out the fish. You could really taste the freshness. The staff is super friendly and quick. When I asked the sushi chef what the sauce contained, I was told eel. I asked what the hairs were. They informed me it was the whiskers from the eel. All 3 chefs took my plate to the sink and didn't speak any English. After which the service turned very cold, and we forced ourselves to finish our rolls for fear of being "charged for leftovers." This place was as I expected. I came here a few years ago- tried it twice I believe. I wanted to try this place out BECAUSE every other sushi place... sucks near where I live. I came here during lunch time (because that is when I had time) and we wanted to sit in a booth to talk but the lady insisted we sit at the sushi bar. I forgot about their lunch all you can eat ($11.95?) and wanted to eat some actually nigiri and even sashimi. But looked at the pricing on the rolls.. and decided it was probably better to eat all you can eat. After working at 2 sushi restaurants.. I know what all you can eat's can do. They add tons of rice on the rolls to fill you up. I have to say.. the first time I came here without eating all you can eat- the rice was decently portioned. My latest experience.. I basically only ordered 2 rolls.. and the 2nd one I had... was hard to swallow without water every bite.
