Sitting at the bar, going to try this restaurant for theb1st time.

I ordered a crunch roll, I have to say it was very tasty. I was always unsure about trying this spot, but im really glad I did. The service there was great, as soon as I walked thru the door I was seated quickly and my Plum wine was served quickly. It was so delicious. I like vibe orient feel. Very inviting and cozy. I plan in coming back.

The food was absolutely delicious wow very fresh and good size portions, fast and friendly service. I highly recommend coming here if you're in need of some really good sushi wow

I was promptly seated by the friendly hostess and the servers were attentive. I had miso soup, salmon sushi, and the rocket roll--all were delicious. The salmon sushi was large and fresh. The tempura shrimp inside the rocket roll had the right crunch and the flavors melted together.

This is my favorite sushi place in Camarillo. The ambiance is simple with perhaps 10 tables plus the sushi bar. Service was very friendly. Our party of 5 enjoyed the miso soup, a variety of specialty rolls and a bento box. We ordered our favorite rolls plus the crispy rice with spicy tuna. The crispy rice was too crisp (too crunchy), but the other rolls did not disappoint. Our favorite was the OMG! Roll with fresh salmon and tuna.

The service was quick, we waited zero minutes for our table even on Saturday night, and had drinks almost immediately. The sushi took mere minutes to be served and was absolutely delicious! The place is quaint and diligently staffed. Very clean, and well kept. Easy to find. The fish was very fresh and the flavors were excellent. The staff is kind and respectful. We were able to make our movie with time to spare and enjoyed every bit of this meal! Thank you!

The Sushis are well prepared and fresh. We got here later in the evening and there was still full service. I also liked the Sake. Service was friendly.

Service was very good, staff was nice, prices were reasonable, wife had the Chicken Teriyaki and Tempura bento box, chicken was very dry and chewy, I had the chicken and rice bowl, chicken was dry and chewy in this dish as well, spicy tuna was ok. Overall food was ok but not exceptional, stopped on our way down to Los Angeles and the name caught our attention. Probably would not stop again.

Came here with my husband for date night and the food and service was great! Our server was very educational and they allowed us to try different sauces before buying rolls. The mummy shrimp was amazing!!!! (Spiral potato wrapped shrimp). The tuna sushi was very fishy (sad moment) & the Final Fantasy roll was hands down the best roll I've had in a while (it's new to their menu). We also had an albacore roll with crispy onions on top (not in photos) and we were disappointed, the onions were completely burnt and sour, they were submerged and hard to pick out. But over all would come back!

this restaurant is placed in a great location, such as cute idea for a date spot as there are places to walk around. there is a small parking lot, but plenty of other parking spaces nearby if the lot is full. we went on a thursday evening and didn't need to wait for a table. there wasn't an abundance of seating, so i wouldn't recommend a party larger than 6. my family chose this spot for dinner after trying to find a sushi restaurant in camarillo. it definitely hit the spot. i didn't even get photos of all the things we ordered, but we were able to try 4 appetizers and 6 rolls! i would recommend the squid karaage. the crab cheese was just okay. the rolls were nice and big and were all pretty tasty. the menu had a lot of variety but we were in the mood for rolls i guess! the service was just right, not overbearing but attentive enough for a great experience. we were pleased to have a great dinner here for part of our family time! even my picky stepdad was satisfied and told us we chose a good restaurant!

I ordered their tiger roll to go and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Finally got to come here and it did not disappoint. Located just east of the Camarillo Outlets on a very trendy and busy street. You can also see it off the 101 freeway. It was a great night cap after some outlet shopping. It was close to closing times. And the staff were a bit weary but still friendly and attentive. The food quality was excellent. The ambiance was dim, chill, and bit romantic. Definitely worth a return visit.

Baylie took great care of my table ensuing I always had everything I needed to make my meal amazing! What really stood out was their excellent selection of low-carb rolls made without rice. Upon Baylie's recommendation, I tried the Pink Lady and the Fresh Roll and both were outstanding. The Pink Lady was beautiful...! Thin slices of fresh salmon wrapped around a flavorful crab mixture, creamy avocado, and crisp microgreens. It was light, fresh, and packed with flavor. The presentation was gorgeous and it tasted even better than it looked. The Fresh Roll was equally impressive. Crisp cucumber wrapped around fresh fish and ripe avocado, topped with vibrant orange tobiko roe and fresh microgreens. The cucumber gave it a wonderful crunch and made it incredibly refreshing; perfect for a low-carb option. Both rolls were super fresh, beautifully made, and satisfied my sushi craving without any rice. If you're looking for great sushi with healthy, low-carb choices, Sushi Fresh is the place. I'll definitely be back!

And I also like how the sashimi is a good size and actually fully covers the rice and more so it's almost like it has a tail. The other places I was looking at didn't even have the sashimi fully cover the rice. And the sashimi here just melted in your mouth. It's almost like the wagu of fish. I'm pretty sure we got the salmon belly. Service wasn't that bad. We were seated right away and checked up regularly. We also ordered the 911, fresh and blue fin tuna roll. I do like how they don't put a ton of rice, so you get full off of the fish and other topings instead of just the rice filling you up. Def worth checking out!

For $14.99 I was given a piece of tuna, albacore, salmon and shrimp sushi, along with a California roll. You also got a small miso soup, which was delicious. The fish was fresh tasting and of very good quality. My least favorite was the shrimp piece. Although fresh and presented well I felt the taste was rather bland. Very easy to happen with shrimp sushi. I stay away from it for that reason. Perhaps I'll see if, for an upcharge, I can sub a different piece for it next time. This combo choice for lunch was the perfect amount and very reasonably priced. The sushi chef and server were both very pleasant and welcoming. The drinks alone were worth it to us. The good: Lots of options. Shrimp pasta, mac 'n' cheese, biscuits 'n' gravy, ham, beef tenderloin, sushi, all the breakfast things, salad, fruit, chicken milanese, salmon. A lot of it was overcooked but it's a buffet so whatever. The meh: Put us on the patio in direct sunlight. Asked about a table inside and they said nothing was available. The restaurant was never full and for the entire hour and 14 minutes we were there, I saw two tables that were empty the whole time. There were cobwebs all over the railings and weeds growing out of the planter. The dessert options were terrible. Nobody wants crepes. The pastries were not fresh baked but the macarons and carrot cake were passable. It looked like maybe the owner took the day off because I went two years ago and it was significantly better. It was cooked perfectly. The size was abundant everything it was just mouthwatering really good. My SIL said hers was the same. I didn't have any room for the fillet, but I did taste it and it was very good, perfectly medium rare. I brought it home, but my husband got it before I did. Everyone at the table had wonderful food and a wonderful experience. The drinks were fabulous. The only thing, if I was being picky, was that they only offered one dessert and that was the red velvet cake. I should've taken it home to have later, but I'm really not fond of red velvet cake so I passed, my bad. It was probably delicious.

To our surprise, the weekday earlyish dinner experience here was even BETTER than our great first impression in Ventura. The reason? Our stellar server Dan! Dan is if the soothing vocal affect & detail orientedness of Kelsey Grammer's Frasier Crane, + the compassion of Dr. Phil, + the genuine caring of your bff who really gets you all got infused into the body of a tall, tanned, actor-handsome golfer. We joked that Dan could heal anyone's daddy issues bc he was SO perfectly attentive & thoughtful in his details. From helpfully comprehensive explanations of the best of that day's daily fish, to the bringing us CHILLED spoons to eat some of our to-go blueberry cobbler before the ice cream could melt on the drive home, to bringing us new glasses of club soda mid meal - level thoughtfulness. When they say it's the little things, it really means it's all the little things that add up to a big thing. Green flags like crazy. Yep, that's our Dan! Dan was a totally unexpected surprise, but the comfy booth seating, cool decor & awesome food was not. We have come to expect a level of consistent excellence at Lure. This visit further reinforced this impression. Wild Cod Fish & Chips - likely some of the best - lightest & crispiest - cod we have had - ever, & I'm talking in the world (When we told Dan we'd share that dish, he offered to bring it first, so we could share it as an appetizer. Another green flag!) Sally's Sand Dabs - my 2nd time ordering this bc it's so perfect - pineapple slaw is always great & the garlicky spinach was buttery textured, simple, & fantastic Blue Eyed Trevalla - true to Dan's recommendation, a spectacular fish & cooked perfectly House salad - worth a special mention bc it was surprisingly great w/crispy raw corn kernels & a yum balsamic dressing Blueberry Cobbler a la mode - big enough to enjoy w/the ice cream there & also the rest at home later. We sat down at the oyster bar and noticed a guy working behind the counter who walked past us quite a few times without acknowledging us. My date eventually had to call him over just to ask for menus, water, and silverware, which a waiter finally brought over for us. Looking around, we noticed a lot of new faces, especially behind the grill, which might explain some of the hiccups. For our meal, we ordered the clam chowder and the crab cakes. The chowder was incredibly thick and the flavor was completely different than usual--it just wasn't enjoyable. My date wasn't happy with it either. To the restaurant's credit, our waiter was nice enough to take the chowder off our bill, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the crab cakes didn't fare much better. They tasted very fishy and the flavor was just completely off. This was the first bad experience we've ever had here, so it really stood out compared to what we are used to. We love this place, so we are hoping this was just a temporary setback with a new crew. We will likely try it again in the future and hope it regains its usual excellence!
