Very Friendly and welcoming as we can in! Very contemporary setting...The food was very good and more importantly, we'll be back...my wife ordered the Chilean Seabass which was perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing. I ordered the poke salad and soy paper wrapped spring rolls which were a very good substitute for "no rice" sushi!! DINE-IN REVIEW Food: Dressed-up california rolls. Whoever said that was a bad thing? No AYCE right now due to COVID regulations but no complaints here. My girlfriend and I got quite a bit of rolls to choose from, and the lunch specials made it 100% more worth it. The rolls, like I mentioned, are mostly california rolls but with different toppings or a slight variation on the inside of the roll. They've got quite a selection to choose from and even have nigiri included. Service: Service was good. I believe this spot might be Korean-owned and I love supporting local AAPI-owned businesses. Servers were attentive, friendly, and seemed like we would be good friends if we were ever to meet in a college environment lol Overall, I highly highly recommend coming during their lunch special times. We came on a whim, had to run some errands in the area, and it had good reviews. We got seated right away, and as we decided what to eat, a crowd grew outside to wait to eat...I'm not entirely sure sure why. We ordered the Lemon roll, the 007 roll and ramen. The rolls came fairly quickly, and I was nearly done and the ramen still hadn't arrived, so we cancelled it (we were told it was just being plated). The rolls were ok. The 007 had what I think was supposed to be spicy mayo, but just tasted like mayo. The spicy tuna didn't have much spicy flavor either. The Lemon roll was tasty, but I have to say it was mainly because of the flavor of the lemon. Just got the check, the ramen is off the check, but it came with a spicy tuna roll, they charges us for that, because it was delivered with the other rolls. Not a great experience, and just lowered this from 3 to 2 stars because of it. Not sure I'd come back. read more

Great reviews on Yelp led us to this sushi joint off the 91 freeway. It is on Euclid and Orangethorpe where there's a Chase, Starbucks and Rite-Aid. Currently outdoor seating and takeout only but it sounds like getting closer to indoor now that OC is improving its Covid numbers. Sang was our server who was friendly and efficient. Food came out fast and all were plated well. Rainbow Roll: California Roll (in), 5 kinds of fish (out) $12.95 Alaskan Roll: Snow Crab and Avocado (in), Salmon (out) $13.95 Lobster Dynamite Roll: California Roll (in), Baked Lobster (out) $14.95. Playfully served and garnished with fire in the center! The shrimp tempura appy ($7.95 for 5pcs) was good too and a perfect appetizer to prep the palate for the yummy rolls. Happy to report that the reviews are spot-on. This mom & pop neighborhood joint serves fresh, flavorful sushi with a good rice to fish ratio. They also serve sake and cocktails. It was my first time here, stopped by for a late lunch with my baby. There was about 4 other tables being served - but it felt a bit empty at the same time. The server was nice but he also seemed a bit overwhelmed so it took a bit longer to be seated and to get my order going. It wasn't too busy so I was able to fit my baby's stroller just fine at our table. That day it was pretty hot, so it was nice to be in a cool, clean space with with really nice and upbeat music playing. There was a larger party of six that came in right before me so I had to wait until all of their rolls were completed before I received mine. I was so hungry, it might have felt longer than it actually was! The server even brought out the other party's rolls to my table by accident. But the rolls were worth it. I ordered two of the spicy tuna rolls and one order of the sushi pop roll. The tuna roll tasted fresh and was decently priced. While the sushi pop roll was delicious! The fried soft crab on top tasted freshly fried and there was a balance of flavor with the rest of the roll. I knock down a star for this sushi spot only because I felt the server could have been a bit more proactive with my table and the rest of the guests.
