The sushi here was great! Our favorites were the salmon roe sushi, eel nigiri, and Red Bull roll (spicy tuna inside w/ fresh tuna and avocado on top). The fish tasted fresh and the presentation of the sushi was done with a lot of care and detail by the chefs. The servers were very friendly and our food came out quickly (we did come at time that wasn't very busy tho). We will definitely come back! read more

Recently tried this place and the sushi was good quality! No ayce option here but their prices are pretty reasonable. Got the baked crawfish roll, Alaska roll and a couple standard rolls and they were all good! This is the only place I've been to where the Alaska roll uses real crab instead of imitation. The crawfish was perfectly cooked and not dry at all. Parking lot is pretty big, service is amazing, and overall food is good. Only thing is that the rice is more on the mushier side vs dry, but definitely prefer soft over hard rice. read more

I came in expecting to eat the Ramen I had here years ago. Instead of the wood ear mushrooms, a marinated soft-boiled egg, a fish cake, sprouts, nori, and bamboo from before, I got a scattering of onion slices and one string of carrot, and a plain hard boiled egg. Only the green onions remained the same - the pork slices were horrifically overcooked, like cotton in the mouth. The broth tasted overwhelmingly like salt, onions, and black pepper; lacking the characteristic savoriness and richness in traditional tonkatsu broth. It's almost like the chef tried to disguise how awful the broth was by bombaring it with salt. And the presentation was awful - aside from the spoon, that was exactly how the Ramen had been presented as it arrived. To add insult to injury, we had to wait over FORTY FIVE MINUTES for our order, in a restaurant with only one other table. Even worse, the price of the Ramen had increased from ~15 dollars to ~18. I would never, ever go here again. The one silver lining were the noodles, which had a nicely chewy, springy texture. But that isn't worth rating this awful experience more than one star. A waste of time and money alike. read more

Formerly known as an AYCE spot, I've always felt skeptical about restaurants like this due to the quality. Typically to serve AYCE, the quality isn't top notch right? After re-opening due to Covid, this place is no longer AYCE so I thought I'd give it a try. Came in on a Thursday night with 2 servers and a semi busy night with half the restaurant filled. Both servers were really nice throughout our meal. The decor and vibe felt fun and relaxing. They have beer+hotsake served all day for $1.99, awesome deal. Their current check-in offer is a small hot sake, can't go wrong with that right?! Also on the menu they have the squid game fortune cookie cutout for $3.99, pretty cool. Food: Free edamame: yummy Miso Soup: Small bowl size, taste like your typical Miso soup from any sushi joint; seaweed pieces + baby tofu.. solid. Tuna and Salmon nigiri sushi: Both tasted okay, but didn't get that melt in your mouth freshness feel, which brings me back to the AYCE quality. Decent fish portion, but rice was a little too much. Spicy Scallop Handroll: Not on the menu provided, but if you tell your server, they can have the sushi chefs make it for you. Bigger size than your typical handroll, but rice overload. Tasted good, but not too spicy and it kind of fell apart while eating. Sweet Egg Sushi: Your basic sweet egg, can't really go wrong with this. Alaskan Roll + Hawaiian Roll: Didn't realize both were basically the same roll except the fish on top. Alaskan has salmon on top and Hawaiian has Tuna on top, both filled with snow crab and avocado. The snow crab in both had a really nice touch versus having your typical imitation crab meat inside. The negatives about this roll was there's a lot of rice. The rice also tasted mushy which made us eventually eat only the fish on top and us picking at the snow crab. Overall, the experience went well. The servers were really nice, but at the same time forgetful. After we checked in for the hot sake, the original server never brought it out, so I had to ask the other server about it. We asked for water at the beginning, but no waters were brought out. I did mention it was our first time coming here and we did get a free bite size which seemed like a crab meat tempura 2piece. Would I come back? I don't think so with the quality provided. The prices are a few dollars above your average, for an non-AYCE, but AYCE quality meal. If it returns to an AYCE sushi spot, then I would come back. read more

Great selection of sushi, this spot is definitely my go to for my cravings. Service is pretty good they do get busy and I've only seen one or two servers at a time. Along with everything else prices are pretty reasonable. we picked a little bit of everything off the menu and we were not disappointed. Sadly had to change this for horrible customer service. We have been here quite a lot over the last year and the food has always been amazing. Last Friday we brought our friend shared a bill of 117.00$ and when the server took my card he came back quite a while later and said "uh. I am sorry I accidentally charged 1700.00!!!" And then gave me a receipt for a 1600$ refund. Idk if anyone knows but something like this can take 5-7 business days to refund and all I got was a very half assed "I'm sorry," from the server. 1700$ is someone's rent !!!
