Outstanding experience! They have recently updated their menu here and the food was outstanding! The sushi was fresh and well presented. The tuna was melt in your mouth delicious and all the sushi was yummy! They have fun fruit options such as a mango roll and a strawberry banana roll. The udon was perfect and our son loved everything too. Dimly lit ambiance and comfortable. The service was friendly and they never let our cups be empty. Overall it was awesome and I can't wait to return!!!!

First time coming here to eat AYCE sushi after the one closer to me shut down. The first thing I noticed was the the kitchen/appetizer items were not fresh. It was obvious they had been sitting in the freezer in a while due to the stale taste. The sushi itself however was pretty good. The sashimi slices are nice and thick. The specialty rolls were also on par with other AYCE locations I've visited. Only downside was that the eel sushi was too soft. It seems they would always break in half when trying to pick them up, but they tasted great anyways.

Service was prompt polite and not overbearing. The sushi was on a whole different level! Best sushi around, will be going back for more. The salmon was incredibly buttery and fresh. The appetizer salad was incredible. I believe the dressing was homemade

I wanted to give this place another shot given that it's been a few years and I was in the area craving some sushi. Don't make my mistake. It's worse than I remember. The seaweed salad had MAYO added in it. The tuna tartare was drenched with soy sauce. The salmon sashimi salad tasted like week old salmon. The deep fried sushi roll had SPOILED avocado in it. The shrimp tempura was not flakey and light like what you'd expect, but heavily crusted. The dragon roll (eel, avocado, cucumber) was basically a cucumber roll topped with avocado; you could barely make out the eel. If you couldn't tell, I do NOT recommend this place. There are so much better ayce sushi places. Edit: 1 hour later, a stomachache has commenced.

Expensive and poor quality. This is not a dining experience, it is a money making scheme. The All You Can Eat is designed to make you full with filler and skimp on fish. All Sushi is full of the most rice I have ever seen in a roll. They charge extra for what you don't eat, and fill everything with rice. Soups are loaded with pepper to make you drink water, and fill up on water. They add a mandatory 18% Gratuity on your check, and the servers don't pay attention to you. Will never go here again, strongly do not recommend.

This is your average sushi buffet. I called and made a reservation for Friday at 6:30 and there were plenty of tables available. Because of the pandemic, you're limited to two runs of sushi and appetizers. You get 2 pieces of paper of each and you write down how many you want of each item. It's fast service and they are extremely attentive with the drinks (came over every 15 minutes to see if we need refills). Ice cream comes at the end of the meal. Everything is mediocre but what can you expect for $26/person dinner weekend price? Will come again.

Be wary eating here, I had a ACYE for 30.00 on a Monday where's wasabi is cheaper and tastier. I ended up paying extra 36. Never again

Never again, I understand eat what you can, but be upfront with the charging food price... extra 40 dollars is insane and greedy.

    California and sweet potato rolls.

Normally the service there is prompt but they've gone down hill. I ordered for pick up for 3 California rolls and it took 1 hour and 15 minutes after I put the order in. There were people waiting to sit down over 20 minutes for a restaurant that wasn't full and they had 4 sushi chefs on duty while the waiters were running around like chickens. 8-23-2023.

Bad sushi and and old rice.

We were a group of nine that included a few children. We went all out. The clear soup was good and flavorful. The salad was fresh and we loved the dressing. It wasn't the typical orange ginger but a light dressing. Delicious! I got the shrimp and scallop combo hibachi and I love that it comes with both rice and noodles. Lots of fresh vegetables. The scallops and shrimp were meaty and perfectly grilled. Others got steak cooked to their liking and some got salmon. Apps were edamame and a dragon roll and spicy tuna. I didn't try the apps but it was a fancy presentation. Everything was just so good. The service was impeccable. The chef was super engaging with everyone, including the littles. Hibachi is always fun and they are pros on fun. They handled our group with humor and the theatrics you've become accustomed to at hibachi dinner were on point. We went there on a Sunday, late afternoon, and it was amazing. I also got a fried ice cream for my birthday with fireworks! Thank you! The restaurant is big and can accommodate large parties. I want to go back soon! I do want to mention that the person that was paying for this birthday dinner didn't realize that gratuity was already added. They came back to give her the extra cash back that she had put in her payment. She was so grateful she still added a little extra!

Their hibachi is always delicious, fun, & entertaining. Their chefs have more than a decade of experience and their teppanyaki skills really show it. Whether you're eating solo or with a friend, or a whole group, remember that you can still take a seat in front of the hot and flaming grill. However, you can still get the hibachi meals at a regular table but won't be able to watch the show (I highly recommend watching the show and enjoying the meal at the grill). They have great lunch specials and even kid's meals for those looking to keep the kids entertained. My go-to is their HIBACHI COMBO with STEAK + SCALLOPS. The chef will most definitely cook the protein to your liking. Not all hibachi spots include both fried rice and noodles in the meal, but Sake Bon does! The carbs are so packed with garlicky soy flavor, unlike many other places I've tried (bold, umami, and addicting...no kidding). The meal is complete with a side salad topped with the creamiest ginger dressing and a clear soup loaded with the perfect amount of sliced mushrooms and an onion flavored broth. Pair it with a nice cocktail, wine, or sake... you're all set! Their apps are also very generously portioned, so it's a good idea to share. It's always a great time with friends and family at Sake Bon. Enjoy their hibachi, sushi and sashimi , rice and noodles, plus so much more. Their fish is fresh and tasty if you like sushi and sashimi. Overall a wonderful Japanese restaurant that serves delicious food and drink that will leave you happy and satisfied. So grab a seat at their bar and enjoy some drinks and apps before heading over to one of their hibachi grills or dine at a table for an intimate and exquisite dinner.

I would like to return to try other dishes. I ordered Jasmine Green Tea, a cup of Hot and Sour Soup, and Singapore Noodles. A pot of tea arrived quickly which pleased me. I often judge a Chinese restaurant by the quality and taste of its Hot and Sour Soup. This soup was excellent in comparison. The broth was a good balance of flavors. It was just spicy enough. It had fresh mushrooms and tofu. Five Stars for the soup. When I saw the check later, I realized it was included free with my lunch. The Singapore Noodles was a large portion, but disappointing in that I could barely detect the yellow curry. The rice noodles needed more sauce or spice! The chicken strips were tender. There were onion pieces as well as scallions in it. Three Stars. But I will return. There are many booths in the restaurant as well as a long row of connected tables in the center for large groups. The restaurant was clean. One booth had four men who spoke only Chinese to the server. That is a sign that the food is good here. Server was efficient and helpful. Parking is right outside of restaurant in a strip of businesses that incudes Saigon Spring, a favorite.

The duck wrapped in scallion pancakes was the best thing we ordered! Delicious! The second best thing was the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, also very tasty. The edamame were edamame. The spicy dumplings were alright, the filling didn't really have enough flavor to be discernible above the chili oil coating the outside. They were tossed with fresh cucumber which was really nice. Okay, here's the tea on the bad stuff. It was really slow for a weekend night. The service was all over the place. They seem to just all work the room but there is no assigned server to your table so they have no idea what is going on. We were all served waters with our other drinks, but unfortunately one of the water glasses was broken. We gave it back to one of the servers who apologized but never came back with a new glass of water, or the additional drink someone else from our party asked for. Another server couldn't speak English which caused many other issues. We were approached several times to order food from different servers. They tried to take our menus away after ordering appetizers. Many more shenanigans ensued, it was honestly a mess. I ordered the biang biang noodles. I had to ask both servers the same questions about my meal because nobody was talking to each other and I got two completely different answers. I decided to accept the risk and order this dish anyway. I wish I hadn't, it was legitimately awful. The small slices of beef were stone cold and were inedible. There was no meat at all, it was just grizzle. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. It was like trying to chew on rubber. Awful! I pushed all the meat to the side of my dish and tried to eat around it. One of the servers asked me if I wanted a box. I told her that the meat was disgusting and just to pack the few noodles I had left on the plate. She just said "oh sorry." The ramen dish had 2 of the thinest slices of pork loin that I have ever seen! They might as well have been cold cuts. And both of those were mostly fat. They were roasted and served untrimmed. And thats all the meat that came in the Tonkotsu ramen dish, besides the 2 slices of fish cakes. What are we on rations guys?? They are very stingy with the protein here. When a place starts cutting food quality and has no self awareness of service quality you know a restaurant is struggling financially or you have an absentee owner situation. I tried to pay a portion of our meal with a gift card and the server couldn't figure out how to do that so she said that they do not accept gift cards. I paid the bill with my credit card and headed for the door. As we were walking out the door, she ran up to me and said "oh we accept gift card, my manager show me how. You can pay gift card when you come again!" I said okay and walked out the door laughing. Don't worry! We will never be back again!

The addition of the coffee bar/cafe menu has only further endeared me to the place. Just like their food, many of the components of the coffee menu are scratch made, including the milks. They make a pistachio, almond, and oat milk all in house. There may be more too, but those three I know for certain. The attention to detail is also impressive, such as the presentation of each beverage. The cups the drinks are served in aren't just pretty, but also sturdy. Which as a clumsy person, I appreciate. Harder for me to spill. Ha! Something to keep in mind about the cafe menu is that since everything is mainly scratch made or ordered special (their Matcha is from Japan) they will be out of things at times. But there's nothing bad on the menu so I humbly suggest going in with an open mind. The lack of one item being available has caused me to try others, and I haven't disliked anything! I hope they continue to do well and are in the area for a long time to come.
