Aww, such sweet service! I'm pretty sure that the woman that served me may have been one of the owners and she was so attentive and kind that she made me really enjoy my visit. I settled into a booth in the corner and ate my usual sushi setup: miso soup and a side salad with an avocado cucumber roll. It was very good and the staff were welcoming the entire time, checking in on me to make sure I was enjoying my stay. I loved the decorations in the restaurant, too. Faux foliage, wood everywhere, it was gorgeous. It reminded me of some sort of secret garden and I loved the feel of it. It's a little dim-lit because of the surroundings, but I didn't mind at all and had a great time. Between the food, the staff, and the vibe of the space itself, Sushi Raku is definitely worth a visit.

Our go to for Chirashi because the fish they serve are thick slices and fresh. We also ordered the karaage curry, whick included two huge croquettes with the chicken karaage. Temperature wise, the karaage curry was super hot. No way I can finish the curry based on the size of the serving.

The service was amazing and the workers are so nice! The place is so cute and has a cozy vibe! And the sushi was priced pretty well! They even gave us free ice cream and candy!!!

Portions are huge and food is amazing. I live in SF but would definitely drive out of my way to eat here. Wayyyy better portions, taste, and price for a casual spot than what the city has to offer. Staff is soooo soo friendly and it feels very welcoming! I would definitely be back! So yummy!

We have definitely become regulars, I could eat their Beef Ramen soup anytime and my husband's preference Chicken Udone. The flavors are really good and if you want a kick in the spice department just ask for some on the side.

We decided to try this place on a whim. And we were pleasantly surprised! Service was ok, not enough wait staff and they took their time getting the bill and to go containers. The food was surprisingly very good. Fresh ingredients, very fresh fish, vegetables, and meat. The dinner comes with miso soup and a small green salad. The food was prepared fast and we didn't wait long! The casual vibe, decor was eye appealing, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We definitely will be coming back for the delicious fresh food and fast service. This might be our new go to sushi place in the concord area. The other's we have tried haven't been as good and fresh as Sushi Raku!

10/10 coming back again for sure! Service so fast, and staff super welcoming and kind. Love the atmosphere from this restaurant. Definitely recommend!!

Chicken Katsu with Sashimi. Katsu was perfect, sashimi was huge slices but just OK

Came here for lunch at 11:15 on a Friday, restaurant was empty so I had my choice of seating. Staff was awesome. Immediately greeted me, then again I was the 1st one there. I ordered a Bento box with Chicken Katsu and Sashimi. The waitress brought over a steaming hot bowl of Miso which was a great starter on this chilly day. When my Bento arrived I was blown away with the portions. Refreshing salad, a huge pile of perfectly cooked rice. Two, Not One, Katsu cutlet and 5 pieces of Sashimi. All for $16.95. Score..... I believe their 5 piece Sashimi on the appetizer menu was $14.95 by it self. So the chicken Katsu cutlet was cooked perfectly, Crispy on the outside, moist fully cooked on the inside. As for the Sashimi, 3 tuna and two salmon in huge slices. The tuna was just ok, salmon a better quality. Bottom line, a great find. I've been here before for rolls and they were awesome. I'd probably not come here just to order Sashimi or Nigari but for a Bento or Roll, you can't go wrong.

My sister and I were craving Japanese food after a trip to the mall and we will definitely be coming back to this location! For the 49er roll, the salmon is so fresh, the cuts are thick and generous and melts in your mouth. We came about an hour before they closed and the salmon was still SO fresh. The Tonkatsu Don was such a huge portion and it came with two cutlets and an insanely huge amount of rice. The miso soup and side salad were also so delicious, we usually never eat either at any other Japanese spot. Other than the amazing food and great portion sizes, the customer service is amazing!! The host was so so sweet, very smiley and enthusiastic. At the end of our meal, she also brought us complimentary green tea ice cream and candies while we finished up our food and paid the tab! If you're in the area and want a good sushi/ramen/rice bowl spot.. def come here!! :-)

The food (esp the miso soup!!!) was absolutely delicious and fresh. Good servings and the service was stellar. Humble and kind people, very chill and relaxed mom and pop shop vibe when we came in :) we will come again when visiting!

On top of checking on us multiple times to see if everything was fine, they also gave us multiple free appetizers as I'm assuming business was a bit slow and we went near closing. We'd always only gone for their lunch menu before, but we were really craving sushi and sashimi last night, so we thought Fuji would be the best place to go since we were starving!! We noticed that the dinner menu wasn't that much different from the lunch. Seems like only a handful of items are added, so we still made sure to try some of those dinner-only items. One was the Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab, and it was absolutely delicious! The whole thing was edible, so there was no need to de-shell the crab, and the tempura batter was nice and crispy. The crab also didn't taste fishy at all. I also liked that they served it with a tempura dipping sauce on the side because it helped refresh the dish and cut back on the greasiness a little bit. Another thing I was really super curious to try was the Smoked Salmon. I did order it, but I think the guy working at the sashimi section misheard me and ended up giving me regular salmon instead - boo! I wanted to go back and order more later, but by that point I was already really full, so I decided not to be greedy. Other than that, everything else was pretty much the same as the lunch offerings. In general, my brother and I really like this place. It's definitely our go-to spot when it comes to all you can eat sushi and sashimi. My brother and I love getting a huge plate of sashimi with a variety of fish like Salmon, Yellowtail, Mackerel, and even Unagi too. I also love how quick the service was, and they impose no limitation on how many times we can order or how many items we can get each round. We just feel really comfortable eating here. I ordered the mini chirashi don, which was a perfect main dish with five large slices of sashimi over rice, seaweed salad and a couple of nice spices of tamagoyaki (rolled egg), plus miso soup and a side salad. Easy listening music plays in the background, the wait staff are very nice and polite. The only catch is that both can sell out quickly, so it pays to arrive early. The Jaw Roll, which features bluefin tuna, is one of my absolute favorites. "Delicious" does not do it justice. Even on days when the bluefin is unavailable, there is no need to worry because the menu is filled with excellent options. I have yet to try a roll here that disappointed me. The garlic edamame is another standout appetizer, though fair warning: you'll be protected from vampires for at least a day afterward. It is packed with garlic and absolutely worth it. For dessert, the fried banana with vanilla ice cream is the perfect way to end the meal. The restaurant has plenty of tables, though a short wait is common during busy times. I requested no eel due to my boyfriend's allergy, but overall the roll was still lacking flavor. As for the appetizers, both the chicken karaage and calamari seemed over-fried, bland, and tasted as though the frying oil needed to be changed.
