    Sashimi Deluxe was very fresh.

First time coming here dine in review ! Let's get into it . If you know me you know I love seafood and SUSHI ! We decided to try this place and decided to sit and eat instead of taking it out . So it's in a plaza so there is parking . Easy access . It's a small storefront but the way it's set up is very cutesy . Booths tables and bar front . Nicely lit . They all welcomed us and said hello when walking in . Our waitress was nice and very accommodating. The food . Great ! Miso soup came first with the crab puffs . Hot and tasted how a good miso soup should with none of the extra stuff like carrots ! lol . I always get sashimi . I can tell fresh sashimi and theirs were just that ! Fresh . And you get a nice amount on top of rice salad and soup for 39$ . The mixed tempura was good loved the breading . I wasn't much a fan of the sweet potato tempura tho because a texture thing for me lol . We got two rolls . lion king and dragon roll . both were good . Flavor was definitely there , I've had better . I think it was the rice for me . Crabs puffs were fresh , not under or over cooked . Batter was crispy but still juicy inside . And the sauces they give for each thing was tasty and fresh . They even use fresh wasabi ! Which is very rare ! That was top notch A+ for me because I can tell the difference . I took some home . That's how you know it's real . Overall they were very nice and I would come back again to try other things because it's hard to find good sushi places and they are pretty good in my book . I'd give them a try . And they all said thankyou and good bye when leaving . They were just nice customer service was also appreciated and apart of the experience.

I got the teriyaki chicken bento box with gyoza. It comes with rice, salad, and soup. I appreciated how they separated all the food into different sections on the to-go tray. The chicken was tender. The salad dressing was great. I wished the gyoza was a little bit more crispy, however I did order off DoorDash so that may have been the problem. The food tasted fresh and was a yummy lunch

Jalapeño poppers, *49'ers, and my friend's roll with mango sauce & shrimp tempura (I forgot the name)

Great sushi spot in Pleasant Hill! Though today was my first time at Yosoko Sushi, my friend had ordered takeout there and liked it. I had the 49ers roll and my friend had the jalapeño poppers and roll with mango sauce/shrimp tempura (don't recall the actual name of the roll). Everything was tasty! Service was friendly and the restaurant wasn't crowded. Prices were reasonable. If I still lived in CA, I'd come here regularly!

Oh my goodness!! This place is the best. I came here all the time about 5 years ago nice to know they are still here, and have not only remodeled but improved fish quality. Salmon and tuna are my favorite. Amazing fish quality. Everything comes out fast during lunch. Service is the best quality!! Caring gentle they know when to come and when to leave you alone. Extremely attentive!! Ambiance is casual, nothing super fancy. But my goodness so delicious. I love their muscles, the clean the shells so there's nothing extra. Some places don't clean the outside of the shell. They are cooked perfect!! Loooove love loooove this place!!

My boyfriend and I have been coming here for about 4 years when we visit the area. Food is always fresh and consistent. We were pleasantly surprised upon entering today that they remodeled. It was a wonderful dining experience with beautiful ambiance and 10/10 service. Highly recommend you stop by if you are in the area.

I ordered two sushi rolls: Forget me Not and Wow wow Roll. The rolls were a good size, definitely not small. Each roll had 8 pieces. Flavors were good on both rolls. Although the Wow wow Roll was baked, I didn't have to wait too long for it.

This review is strictly for lack of information and wrong info. This place is near my home and I found it on yelp. Their website says "lunch menu" and has the bento box for $16 so I came down there. When I seated, they only handed me one menu and it had no lunch specials and the bento box was $22. I asked the waitress if they had a lunch menu and she said no just that menu. So sadly I left because I didn't want to spend that plus tip on a normal weekday lunch. Their website needs to be updated so customers know what to expect

Quick Friday lunch- was seated promptly with a friendly welcome. The restaurant was pretty full of diners. Very cute ambiance and decor with country music playing overhead. My server was very nice and took my order of miso soup, house salad and crazy chili jalapeños. The soup was aromatic and not too salty. The salad was good, but those jalapeño bites were so delicious! I could have eaten two orders of them. Very good experience.

We ordered DoorDash on Saturday night and I was not disappointed! Love the sashimi combo so many different options! I also thoroughly enjoyed the mango sushi a little sweet but it was a great balance with the shrimp tempura. Mackerel is always my fav and it was perfect! Definitely give this place a try for your next sushi craving!!!!

No welcome in or hello from staff, I was asked "pick up?" And said yes and provided my name. I was informed they were still preparing my order-GOOD. I would've been concerned if it was ready in less time. I handed my payment card to the host, she struggled with inserting the card into the square device, as well as holding the chip over the device as well. After about 3 minutes she figured it out. I was handed my receipt to fill out. She watched as I filled in the respected lines. I did not leave a tip - as it was a up order, and service thus far was not to par. I waited for my order... 8 minutes later it was ready. Before leaving I checked the bag, order correct, but lacking my preference of soy sauce. I asked the host for more she came back with ONE packet, and tossed it in the bag I was holding. I said out loud "oh just one?" Then asked the sushi chef if they had little to go containers for soy sauce and if I could get one of those. He said yes and instructed the host to fill one for me. She did, came out and handed it to me with what I interpreted was an annoyed look. I said thank you and left. Fascinating to say the least. I guess I was asking for too much. Sushi was decent. Hit the spot. But have had better.

It's a much more personal and friendly experience this way. Much more conducive to conversation with your party. Our server was very pleasant and prompt to check back about ordering more and drink refills The restaurant and restroom was clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking and easy access without stairs or steps We started out with some apps, spicy edamame, agedasi tofu, and gyoza. Next time we will do the garlic edamame- the spicy one had both garlic and spice- and we both agreed we would like just garlic best. We do like spice normally- but it was the spicy garlic combo that was off for us The tofu was 2 bigger pieces- I've tried it here now, and don't need it again. I prefer it smaller pieces with more of the outer crunch My hubby liked the gyoza- he said they did the perfect crunch, and cooking time on them. We ordered a few more apps to try as well miso soup for 2, egg rolls and shrimp tempura Nice miso soup- hubby loved the crunch and flavor of the egg rolls and ordered more, shrimp tempura was perfect as well. Not sure if they do 1/2 rolls- but that would be a way to try more. So many things we wanted to try, but were too full- lily the burrito, nacho. Hubby loved his spicy tuna hand roll We always order a spicy tuna roll at every sushi place- kinda our test the rolls here standard roll. This one was amazing and didn't disappoint. I ordered the mini chirashi don, which was a perfect main dish with five large slices of sashimi over rice, seaweed salad and a couple of nice spices of tamagoyaki (rolled egg), plus miso soup and a side salad. Easy listening music plays in the background, the wait staff are very nice and polite. The family at the next table with two little kids were given cute children's sectioned plates with kids' chopsticks, which was very convenient for the four year old to use, however, the two year old wasn't big enough to use chopsticks. This was a perfectly delicious lunch, with enough leftovers for a later dinner meal.
