Came here for lunch on a weekday with the kids. Easy parking. Got a beef teriyaki lunch special and the wife got a miso salmon with California roll lunch bento. Overall everything had good flavor and the lunch pricing makes it great value. My kids are picky but they had deep fried gyoza for them but they do offer a kids menu which was great. Servers were very attentive and prompt. Checking in frequently and food came out quick. It'll definitely be my alternative to my go to in WC, Harumi. We really enjoyed our lunch here. The fish was very fresh and didn't seem as if it had been frozen. The pieces were quite tender. We had the Wasabi combo which consisted of 6 nigiri and 6 pieces of sashimi. All were very tasty. We also had the Spicy Tuna Hand Roll and the California Hand Roll which were great. The shrimp tempura appetizer came with 5 shrimp and the batter was nice and crunchy. Friendly service and reasonable wait time after placing the order. The restaurant is a casual place with a combination of booths and about five tables. There is seating at the sushi bar for about 6 people. Let me tell you about this place. My mom and I have been here a couple of times and each time it has been delightful. There's plenty of seating. There's also a sushi bar seating area. The music is pleasant. There's three screens where you can catch a game. The service was excellent. Whenever we had questions we got answers right away. They were attentive to our needs, always made sure we had a refill of water, always took our dirty dishes. We had the spicy garlic edamame which was lovely. It was the right amount of garlic and spice, and the warmth of the edamame was great. We had the Overload (deep fried) and the Lion King (baked) rolls which were such a hit between us. We are always so tempted to buy a second of each. They were that good. We got the 6pc sashimi as well as the Inari Nigiri. All excellent. There's WiFi! Just for the passcode. Stopped in for dinner during the busy Thursday farmers market and had the restaurant to ourselves which is nice when you have a toddler. Spacious, clean and intimate ambiance. Ordered the chicken teriyaki and gyoza bento, deluxe sashimi, and rolls (Sunset, Titanic, and Mama). Food was pretty good! I liked the rolls and thick slices of sashimi. Great location right in the middle of the heart of Concord. We were greeted and seated right away. Service was friendly and they had a steady flow of customers eating in and taking out. It's not too bright of a place, they have large booths and tables. Parking was easy on a Saturday night which surprised us. Caliente, truffle roll, and one fried with cream cheese. The truffle roll was our favorite then the Caliente roll. We both agreed that we wished we didn't get a fried roll. Just could taste the cream cheese. Went here once with the daughter and another time with the son! They love the noodle soups here - the udon and the ramen. For the appetizers/rolls, they enjoy the chicken karaage and the California roll. The noodle soups dishes looked rather cute and the portions were perfect for them, though getting small for my son. They tried the karaage ramen where the karaage was on the side (no egg in the ramen). They also tried the chicken udon, where the chicken pieces were inside the bowl. California roll was a generous portion for the price - standard 8 pieces for $6 as of June 2025. The menu has changed between the first time and second time I went there. Perhaps the first menu was more of a soft opening (was a 2 sided single sheet thing) and it had some different offerings compared to the second time I went here. For example, I tried the fatty wasabi roll which had some tempura veggie and such inside and toro (fatty tuna) with wasabi cream and whatnot on top. It was sooooo good, but didn't see that on the menu the second time. They also had mentaiko nigiri on the menu the first time I went, but they didn't have the item in stock (darn!), and it was not on the menu the second visit. Other than the wasabi roll, I tried their double salmon roll - classic salmon and avocado on the inside and salmon on the outside. So good! My son tried it and he really enjoyed it too. I love when the kids branch out and try stuff they don't normally try! I also had their futomaki ($7.5 first visit, $9 second visit), and that was great with the various pickled veggies and other veggies in there. Also tried their chicken teriyaki lunch one weekday, but their lunch boxes aren't offered on weekends. Tried their karaage plate on the weekend before and that was good as well. It comes with miso soup, yum. Looking forward to trying more of their rolls and other offerings (chirashi and Takoyaki catching my eye!). Service has been solid both times, and the interior was nice as well. Decently sized space. Funny enough, I was sat at the same spot both visits. read more
