The food here was good. Not great and not bad, just good. I can't say that it left me wanting to come back. It was just very average. The inside of the restaurant however is beautiful and the ambiance was very chill. They did however let a guest have their dog out of the carrier which seems quite unsanitary. The small dog stayed at the table but still (it clearly wasn't a working dog). We all had some kind of food left over, but no one took it to go. This restaurant wasn't good enough for me to want to return without it being a social invite

Everything I've tried has been delicious, from the sushi rolls to the appetizers, and the service is always great. The combination of amazing sushi with that Latin flavor and energy keeps me coming back every time. If you love sushi and want something with personality and flavor, this is definitely the place to go! We come here all the time is definitely my all time favorite

This is a great sushi bar with a cool atmosphere. I said at the bar and the bartender gave great service and was very attentive. The sushi was fresh with ample portions. Definitely a spot I will go back to.

Our server Danny was amazing! They put the sushi on the boat for us because we mentioned wanting one for a picture. The room they put us in was very cute with a neon sign.

Loved it! Courteous service, very helpful. My food was good. Menu is vast, provides sushi and hot cooked dishes. I stopped in for a late lunch on a relaxing Saturday. It wasn't too busy. Will be back to try dinner.

Sushi Sake Tampa 203 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL A nice new restaurant in South Tampa worth checking out. I had the pleasure of visiting this place and enjoyed the atmosphere. What I had: 1) Beef Tataki - lightly Seared meat served with Ponzu Sauce and Scallions- Delicious 2) Pineapple Special Fried Rice- served in a half pineapple - worth eating and sharing with plus Instagramable 3)Banana Tempura Ice Cream- uff! This dessert just blew my mind of how sweet and delicious this was. 4) Blueberries Mojito- Very good cocktail drink 5) Expresso Martini- a happy drink to make you go woo hoo! Thank you to my hostess Irene and the Staff for being a great host on my visit. Follow their Instagram Platform for updates on their menu options and specials.

Nigiri that looks very poorly made
    Andrew S.

I have really struggled with what to rate Sushi Sake as part of it was great and part of it was horrific. If we call this place a bar that happens to serve sushi, it gets 4 stars. But if this is a sushi place with a great bar, then it is 2 stars. The good: the decor is wonderful, and the atmosphere is top notch. The service is on point (they are still learning, but that is expected) and the drinks were great. The bad: the sushi was a complete joke. Our nigiri looked like it was cut and assembled by somebody that has never served sushi. Normally that wouldn't matter, but their prices are well above normal. $5 - $7 for one piece of nigiri, whereas other sushi places will give you two, demands that the fish is top quality and the presentation is perfect. Unfortunately neither happened. The nigiri fish looked like a kid butchered it, it wasn't really fresh and the rice was terrible. Their sushi dinner, for $45 gives you 15 pieces of nigiri. One generally does not get three pieces of shrimp, tuna, salmon, escolar and one more type of bland fish for one of their most expensive dishes, but that is what came out. The ceviche was good, but again, the fish was cut to much different lengths and thickness, which was a shame. Again, the staff was very friendly, and had we just came for drinks, we would have been happy. The margarita was great, and their version of sangria was also great. Sadly. The sushi was a complete miss. Hopefully they fix these issues as the foundation is there to build upon.

Happy hour from 3-6 with $10 espresso martinis & other good deals. Lots of appetizers on happy hour as well; we ordered the shrimp shumai, edamame, and a dragon roll to split. Decor was beautiful and space was very clean. Our server was attentive and had great recommendations. There is also a cute private room for any birthdays or events!

Honestly garbage. This was the chicken hibachi dinner. It took forever to get the food. The rolls LOOKED good but tasted horrible. The guy working the front host stand was nice though.

Disappointed about it no longer being 50% but just wish it was advertised more clear on social media/at the restaurant/online. Anyways, the restaurant is very cute and I like the shaded outdoor area. We ordered some wine, beer, and pizzas. My fiancé enjoyed the beers and my wine was not very good but the cheapest glass so I wasn't expecting much. We ordered Price's House and the fig & prosciutto pizza - both were $19 which is not crazy expensive but Price's House imo is overpriced. The crusts are thin and crispy on these pizzas if that's your style. Price's house was pretty average, salty from the salami, not enough mozzarella (some pieces didn't have any), not much flavor to it. The pizza is not bad by any means but nothing special and overpriced imo. Could get better pizza elsewhere for that price. The Fig & Prosciutto was OUTSTANDING. So much flavor, sweet and salty, fresh from the arugula, all-around 10/10. Would recommend this one to anyone debating which pizza I would have rated this place a 3/5 but that fig & prosciutto pizza really carried it home and made it seem like they have pretty good food and I just ordered the wrong thing. I would def be willing to try this again!

A friend and I ordered the Japanese curry and short ribs, and both were disappointing. The portions were surprisingly small, and the curry tasted like a generic TV dinner that had just been warmed up. For the price, I expected much better. We actually ended up going next door to GrillSmith afterward because we were still hungry, which says a lot. That said, the wine selection was excellent, and the staff was very knowledgeable. If you're just looking for a great place to enjoy wine, this might be worth a visit. But if you're hoping for a full dining experience, I'd say skip the food and go elsewhere.

I'm excited to be the first to tell you that you can now have that sweet Seoul experience here in Tampa‼ Perfect date night spot 미각 Migak, means "taste" and I was thoroughly shook when I tried the food and wine pairings at this cozy space off of Dale Mabry. The food here is so delicious, just like my time spent in Korea. Innovative dishes like Truffle Jajangttoek, my favorite so far. Korean owned and operated, the owners also own a few of these amazing food pairing wine bars in Korea, and the chef has also lived and culinary trained in France. They have their hand on the pulse of what is popular in Korea as well as the US. We are so lucky to have this establishment! You won't find anywhere else like this in Tampa Bay. I'm definitely coming back for dessert and to try more! The Migak sommelier is here to help you choose wines that will pair perfectly with the plates that you order. A must-try. 3 Chicken Skewers - The plump, glossy bites of heaven are dark meat, fatty, glazed and tender. The tangy and slightly spicy sauce matches well with the fatty meat. Paired with Reisling. 4 명태전 Pollack Joen - Fried egg washed fritters, served with a side salad. A very popular dish in Korea. Sometimes whole restaurants just serve various joen as their main menu. Paired with Gruner. 5 불구기 쌈 Bulgogi Ssam - Premade lettuce wraps with just the perfect amount of toppings and sauces, as the chef intended. As the only Asian food specialist that has written about specifically Korean cuisine and visted Korea multiple times, can speak, read, and write in Hangul --- Migak is my favorite Korean restaurant in Tampa Bay hands down. Keep them open. Protect them at all costs.

I'll start with the good stuff. The space inside Bouzy's front dining area and bar is gorgeous. It's not large, but it has very high ceilings, which add to the sense of space, and the modern decor, especially the bubble-inspired lighting, all add up to a bright and vibrant atmosphere. I can easily imagine it looks even more polished and stylish at night. Also, our food was excellent. We got the Florentine Benedict and the Shrimp & Grits -- both were beautifully plated and delicious. Also, if you're feeling snacky before brunch, try the Marinated Olives. It's easily a snack for two -- we even ended up taking some home! I did mention a few minor hiccups at the start. The bottle of Cava Reserva we ordered was not kept chilled, so we had to wait a little for it to come out and we did worry for a moment that we wouldn't get it before our entrees arrived. Also, our server, while very friendly and sweet, was a little uneven in terms of how often she came over to check on us. At the start, she seemed a little scattered, but later on she found her groove and came over to us more often to see what we needed. As I said, minor hiccups, and certainly nothing that would discourage us from another visit the next time we cross the bay and visit Hyde Park.
