Update: the owner finally got back with me informing me that they wouldn't refund my money due to me driving home with the food and it was hot that day like ppl don't have air conditioner n their cars and that fresh seafood should be eaten right away, that some bullcrap, what about the ppl who order takeout to take back to work? They came up with any and all excuses not to refund my money, is this a place who cares about their customers?, in my opinion "No". One of my favorite to go sushi conveyor belt places to eat. The workers know my sisters and I because we eat there pretty frequently but we took a little break lol. The sushi is flavorful and u can watch the chefs prepare the sushi right there in front of you. My favorite is the gyoza and the shrimp Sinai so good. The cucumber salad is good, California roll is good. Salmon sushi is good good eats and it's a quick eat and go. Pay per plate that u choose with sushi and other foods. read more

I would say this is pretty good compared to the other conveyor belt sushi places (like Kura). First off, the parking lot is a little bit small so you may have to fight for parking or park on the street. It seems like there was alot of street parking available. The staff were incredibly friendly, the host let us know that the wait would be10 minutes, but when it went over she came outside and apologized profousely. Very sweet. When we sat down at the bar, the sushi chef was friendly and let us know that he could make us anything we want as long as they had the fish available. As for the sushi itself, I was surprised by how good the salmon nigiri was! And, unlike other places, the rolls that they had available on the conveyer were actually better than those basic rolls (aka regular philadelphia roll or california roll). Our bill for four people who ordered 2 sodas and one Saporro, ate 16 plates, and one order of sweet shrimp ended up being $120 (before tip). All in all, I would go back and highly recommend. The food is delish at this place. It's affordable between $3.50 plates up to $6.50. It is noted that Children under age of 8yrs are not allowed to sit at sushi bar. So it looks like there some seating areas on the other side of this bar. The experience was A1 they are very polite and answers questions if you don't know much about Sushi such as myself. It sad to even put 1 star because I've been coming to this place for years but I wouldn't like anyone else to be scammed by this place. My family and I came to this restaurant for quick last minute munchies. We each got about 3 plates. Total being less than 15 plates. We did the math quickly in our heads and estimated the total to be about $40-50. (Food only) keep in mind we were getting the cheapest plates. We had also ordered sake which usually comes in a white container. For some reason the lady brought out a bottle and said it was really good sake. Maybe our mistake was not asking for the price of it. But our bill came out to be 190$. Almost 200$. When I asked to see the receipt they started talking to themselves and I started getting upset because there is no way that would equal to that amount. They had charged us 90$ for the food and $100 for the sake bottle we NEVER asked for. Really sad they would take advantage of the situation and unfortunately we are not the people who want to start commotion. Definitely not a place I would trust to go again. I love this place and the review is solely for customer service. You're usually able to walk in and sit at the bar. Some lady that I've never see before was yelling at me telling me there's a line of people outside waiting. I was never told before that I needed to sign in on the waiting list to sit at the bar. And I don't have a problem waiting. My issue is she was yelling and now other people are looking. Then when I asked if they had opened up at 5pm she said 4:30. I informed her googles says 5, which is why I waited to come and she shrugged it off and said yea ok. Please fix your customer service so you don't lose customers. read more

I ordered mine for take out and I don't know why my tuna rolls had no flavor, and my California rolls tasted like old fish? The rice for both sushis didn't have vinegar and sugar like sushi recipes call for either :( so my sushi tastes like old crab meat on rice and bland tuna on regular rice... This isn't authentic sushi maybe, but I figured how could a California roll go wrong at least. Came here when visiting family in SoCal and this is their usual go-to spot for sushi. Restaurant is small and packed for a Wednesday night. Luckily we were a party of 8 and waited no more than 30 min to be seated without having reservations. We also came just a little over half an hour before closing and they still accommodated us which was appreciated. Ambiance gave me a Friday night weekend vibe versus a weekday night. Music was bumping, crowds were loud and a couple drinking, which is all cool but probably not my cup of tea. They have a conveyer belt taking up about half the restaurant which is cool for smaller parties. They were able to sit us together on one large table. Service was fast and amazing. When we were waiting outside hostess came out and let us know that a table would be coming out soon not leaving us out there to guess and wonder if we've been forgotten. As soon as we were seated beverages and hot tea were given. Food was pretty quick to come out too. We had ordered 11 rolls, 1 app, 2 udon soup. They did not get our order wrong. Waitresses were pleasant and on it. After our last order item was served she was conscientious enough to verify that everything was there. I even caught her a couple times overlooking not only our table but everyone else's to anticipate our needs and make sure we had everything we needed. Not a lot of waiters do that anymore, especially in a busy place. Kudos and Appreciated. Now food. Food was pretty good. I can't remember all the names of the rolls we ordered. But a couple of them did stand out. I enjoyed the love roll, the rainbow roll, and the roll that had raw salmon on top and scallop in the middle. The fish was fresh. Rolls were not overly large but decent for the price. I thought the Sushi was not packed with too much rice nor fillers which one Yelper had mentioned. Came early, put our names down, we were the first to enter the restaurant and they wouldn't allow us to sit at the bar because we had two kids with us. The last time we came, we were able to sit at the revolving bar with no problem. They said we had to sit at a table because they would be GETTING busy. This has became my favorite to go spot recently. I used to go to sake 2 me in Cerritos but last couple times I've gone there is been more of a miss than a hit. This sushi spot is super close to my house and the food is amazing! The staff is super friendly! My favorite roll is the Jessica alba roll if you haven't tried it you are missing out. I've heard good things about this place. Unfortunately, I don't think I got the real experience here. Due to COVID restrictions, we weren't able to sit indoors and check out the conveyor belt. However, there's a nice tent that they set up outside that sits a decent amount of people. The food is meh. We got a bunch of rolls and all of the rolls stuck to the plate when you try and pick them up to eat. Needless to say, it was a little messy eating them. Also, one of the rolls wasn't cut to a bite-sized portion so it was a little tough to eat. As far as the freshness of the fish goes, it was alright. Nothing spectacular. Out of all the rolls, the Jessica Alba roll was the best one. Topped with seared tuna, it probably had the most flavor out of everything we got. Cosy sushi spot that serves items on a conveyor belt. It's a popular spot! To fit more people around the belt, they seat you directly next to other customers. Totally understand, but I was uncomfortable at times at how close the other patrons were (in my opinion, it's too close when you can smell the other person sitting next to you). It is a revolving sushi so I would recommend getting seated at the bar so you can either pick up the sushi on the revolving tray or if you want a specific order you can easily request it to to sushi chef which is right in front of you. There is also table seatings for big groups. Service is always great and the ambiance does resemble a small sushi place in Japan. Price is what to expect in a sushi place. Parking is kinda difficult due to the small parking size in the plaza but you can park by the stree or the houses nearby. You can also call if you prefer to eat at home or someplace else. I really wanted to like this place but if 90% of the dishes on the conveyor belt are 'filler' dishes - where the main filling is mayo and imitation crab - then it's hard to justify the price. We went on a weekend evening and the wait for the bar was around 20min and there was only 1 heater on for approximately 10 people waiting outside. Once we were called, we semi-struggled to get into our seats as the host literally packed everyone in like sardines, it was difficult to enjoy the experience when a Tokyo subway train would've provided more space. We tried almost all the dishes that had any semblance of raw fish on them and they were very standard, even the sweet shrimp was decent but not the freshest. The sweet shrimp came on a well-plated dish with fried shrimp heads over a bed of rice. Overall cleanliness was decent and dishes were refilled constantly but all the dishes either had krab meat and/or mayo or a fried component and honestly for the price we paid, we could've gotten better quality elsewhere. The service was quick but a bit of a struggle to get their attention when we wanted the check. Not sure if I'd want to come again. read more

Tried this place out because of the 4 stars. It was def deceiving. Was looking forward to sushi. I don't know who thinks this place is 4 stars... We were sat at a table. We didn't select the bar or table. They sat us at the table. Noticed the bar everyone is sitting VERY close to each other. The belt with the rotating sushi is literally beneath your nose , so anyone talking, coughing or a sneeze would immediately be all over the plates. The belt plates are not covered and very much open. I commend their amazing service though. Our service was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately the food was terrible. I had to force myself to finish 99% of the food. The only decent thing was the miso soup... Their wasabi is in a packet and it says "flavored paste" on it. It smelled like horseradish. Didn't taste too terrible with soy sauce. Canned/jar ginger. On the plus side they have low sodium soy sauce. Got the following items; they look great in the photos but was so disappointed once eaten. Tempura roll 1/5 - tempura roll was not crispy/cold, had this odd bitter/somewhat sweet sauce covered on top, disgusting. Not the typical eel sauce. Don't know what sauce they use but it was bitter sweet. Teriyaki beef 1/5 - teriyaki beef was super thin and very over cooked and tough to chew (the worse teriyaki I've ever had in my life), and the teriyaki sauce (if you can even call it that) in itself just tasted like dirty tap water, was not even a sauce consistency either The rest of the combination plate: - rice that came with the combo DRY and overcooked - miso soup actually good but tasted like it was from paste, at least it came hot/warm - salad some of the were not fresh, also too much sauce on it I literally pick up a piece and had to shake off sauce... Salmon roll 3/5 - surprisingly the salmon was a good amount - was lacking and loosely wrapped so it was falling apart when you pick it up. Sushi combo 3/5 - not worth $20. -Low quality fish. - The California roll that comes with it tastes fishy and mushy. - Rice was also falling apart and loosely wrapped. Baked scallop roll 1/5 -came out cold, how is that even possible?! - drenched in sauce (weird bitter sweat sauce) - scallop was hard and chewy, very much over cooked - sauce on top is not the typical sushi sauce that's on baked scallop rolls - the California row below is so fishy that even with the horrible sauce the fishy was still came through - mayo on top was very much coagulated because it was already cold Final thoughts: The quality is just NOT there. VERY poorly rolled sushi and the loose rice was a common occurrence with all the other rolls we tried. They all had that same issue. ALL the sushi was loosely wrapped. What is that terrible bitter/sweet sauce?!?! I love sauce but that sauce was absolutely horrible. It overpowered everything, but yet it couldn't cover up the fishy taste to their sushi... The revolving sushi is cool but the made to order is absolutely delicious. If you do sit at the bar, the chefs are super engaging with high energy and very friendly. Try an oyster shooter; it's really good! (Please note that I do not care for oysters at all but loved it) Service can vary on how busy it is and if you get there on a busy night, you'll be waiting outside for a while. What a fun experience! My partner and I went for our anniversary and absolutely loved it. They do not take reservations and when you get there, they have a list outside for you to put your name on. We waited about 15 minutes for a spot at the bar. (There was seating immediately at the tables, but we were there for the conveyor belt experience) Everything was really delicious and we feel like we got a bang for our Buck.
