    Thai sweet and sour sautee
    Terri G.

This Thai restaurant has great food and fast service. They do take out, which is a time saver on a busy day. On a recent trip, we stopped by for a take out dinner. I went with a Thai chicken panang curry, with green beans, bell peppers, Thai herbs and coconut milk. Delicious! Hubs was happy to order a Thai sautee with a sweet and sour sauce, pork and mixed vegetables. No Thai meal would be complete without Pad Thai noodles, or the variety of Pad See-Ew noodles and Pad Key Mao. The menu has so many chef recommended dishes and there are lots of Japanese dishes to choose from, if you're not in the mood for Thai. The menu offers appetizers, main dishes with meat, vegetables or tofu. The Japanese menu has teriyaki and tempura dishes, along with sushi and sashimi. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant, it's in a convenient location, clean, pleasant atmosphere and best of all, lots of great food!

Food was very good. I went on a Sunday night. It was pretty busy. I ordered the Dragon Roll and a Chatsu pork ramen. The roll was delicious. Maybe one of the top 3 rolls I have tried. The ramen was great as well. The broth was delicious and I added some ground chili to give it a kick. Everything was great. The service was excellent. I will most definitely return.

    Crab Salad. 10/10 very flavorful

I went here for happy hour with family so this is review is only on the happy hour. We got 4 rolls, the spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, jb tempura roll, and the tanzana roll. The best roll was probably the tanzana roll because the jb rolls were a little big for one bite but other wise they were good. Plus the tanzana roll had the most filling like avocado and asparagus. A little disappointed the spicy tuna and salmon roll doesn't come with avocado but instead a sliver of scallion but otherwise pretty normal roll and they had a little tiny kick. We also got the spring rolls which were fine just like any other spring roll nothing special however they cut them in half so you really only get two full spring rolls. We also got the gyoza fried which were so delicious they were perfectly crunchy and the filling was nice. We also got the shumai which is basically like a shrimp dumpling and we got steamed and they weren't as good and were soggy when you ate them and wasn't exactly what we prefer so they probably would've tasted better fried. Then we also got wine which tasted weird as if it gone bad or maybe sat in the sun so it wasn't that good so we got a different one and then the iced tea is definitely like that tea you buy in a squirt bottle and just squeeze it into water so would definitely not recommend that. But the service was super nice and they even gave us a complimentary mini crab salad which was so flavorful. The restaurant itself is very chill and bright inside so that was nice. If you're looking for a nice place with a cheap happy hour to get a snack and a few drinks then this place is pretty good for that.

Yellow Dragon roll and California roll.

The pad tai was very tasty. My adult children love the sushi. The service was fine. Price is fair. I would go back. The atmosphere was ok.

One of our neighbors used to live in the area and recommended anything in Tin City for lunch. We walked to Tin City from the free parking structure just off 5th Avenue and, while we found the area mildly interesting, we didn't like any of the typical joints along the water. Besides, having eaten at Dockside in Venice the day prior, we were looking for something other than seafood. In looking at Yelp, we were intrigued by Ichi Togarishi so we walked back towards 5th Avenue. Located just off 5th Avenue, this small place would be quite easy to miss. Upon entering, we realized how snug this place was. We were seated promptly and presented the menu. My wife ordered the Chicken Veggie Shoyu Soy Ginger and I had the Chashu Belly Garlic Noodle. We both liked our dishes, with complex, bold flavors. The Chashu belly was tender with sweetness and soy flavor shining thru. Its flavor profile reminded me of Pad Thai. A very nice find in Naples!

From the moment we walked in, the energy matched the occasion--calm, intimate, and polished without being pretentious. The service was exceptional, and I don't say that lightly. Our server was attentive to the flow of the evening, almost like they followed the house motto of "let the experience guide the guest." Every interaction felt natural, and every course arrived at the perfect time, no reminders needed. Now let's talk about the dish that stole the spotlight: the Shrimp Tempura Roll. It arrived crisp, warm, and beautifully plated. The texture contrast between the crunchy exterior and soft interior was on point. What took it next-level was the pairing with The Beach by Whispering Angel--a pink moscato that turned the entire moment into a scene from a dream. The fruity notes of the wine danced perfectly with the shrimp, elevating every bite with a refreshing finish. I always tell my friends: if you're looking to impress on a first date, this is the place. It's classy without trying too hard, intimate enough for conversation, and the food does more than just fill you--it sets the tone.

Everyone was very happy with their food. The cesar salad is very good. They put a lot of a cheese on it, which is awesome. I love cheese. I have only had the triggerfish and it is an amazing dish. The fish is not fishy at all. It is meaty but light and flaky. They give a good sized portion. The pimento cheese is to die for. I can't believe how much of it I ate on my last visit. Then we have the key lime pie. Wow. Double wow. It has a burnt sugar topping similar to creme brulee. The filling is light and tart. The pie ties with Sweet Melissas. The interior is super cute. Service started a little slowly--we didn't meet our server for about 15 minutes, although another team member quickly brought us water and drinks. Once our server arrived, he was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. It seemed like he may have been covering several tables that evening, so we completely understood. Our meal ended up taking about 90 minutes after reservation, which was longer than we expected for a quick dinner. We shared two dozen oysters, king crab legs, the miso butterfish, and cocktail.. The oysters were fresh, though we had slightly higher expectations. The king crab was easily the standout of the meal. The miso butterfish was well prepared but a bit heavy on the sauce--I think a touch of acidity and a side of vegetables would have balanced it nicely, something to consider. Between the waterfront breeze, friendly hosts, and our server's hospitality, we still had an enjoyable evening. It may have simply been a busy night for the service team. We'd gladly give Syren another try.
