Mexican roll (front) King & I Roll (back)

Convenient, small location within the strip-mall on Ocean Ave & the intercostal bridge. Prices are definitely high, but the sushi rolls are delicious! We weren't fans of the Pork Shumi (pork dumplings) or the wine we ordered.

Delicious! Boyfriend and I loved all the rolls. The dragon roll was my favorite. We had the nigori/specialty sake which I think is delicious and also the most cost effective. There is some outdoor seating which is nice but also very cute interior that feels like a cozy atmosphere. We've ordered take out before and I think I liked it. Apparently, my boyfriend spent valentines day here once before (dif gf) and they gave him some sparkling sake. This was my first time experiencing the restaurant in person but I liked it and I think we will be back :-) I found out later that if you use the app GetUpside you can get cash back. This place is great --- the food is fresh and the service is excelente The carrot ginger sauce was at the perfect point. The bow brings Sashimi (Tuna, Yellow tail, Salmon) and California rolls. The box includes miso soup or salad --- yes definitely is recommended for the price !!!

A very small location set in a strip mall; this can either go two ways: poor or amazing. There are 5 tables in the restaurant & 8 seats at the bar. I decided to sit at the bar being that I was eating solo and love chit chatting with the sushi chef about what else other than FOOD. The waitress was extremely friendly, the chef did not say a word. I've been to really elite sushi house's in Denver, Portland, Miami, etc and they have always said hello... even if there English was lacking. I ordered a la carte today to really try how this place is. This is the real test! I got uni sashimi, Ama ebi sushi style, ika aka squid. Let's see what this place is all about. Bottom line: presentation was good, quality was okay, lack of communication at the sushi bar was a killer. Lots of hipp. I would give it a second try this time at night

Very good food, we all liked our rolls. The service was great. The seating was limited so it's not great for big families or larger groups.

Good (not great) sushi, extremely overpriced. We ordered takeout so can't comment on the service or atmosphere.

My wife and I went out with the intention of going to Keke's Breakfast Café, but when we got there…read morewe were told there would be 20-30 minute wait despite more than half the booths being empty, (My hypothesis is that they can't hire of keep staff despite the extant staff seeming quite happy and pleasant.) Not wanting to wait, we walked a few dozen steps to a place I had noted before, Quaca Go, re-tuning my culinary expectations from French Toast to burrito. There was no table service, but that wasn't a problem. I'm a bit uncomfortable about being served, probably legacy of my radical upbringing which is currently being eroded by dining at Abe & Louie's. It also provided an opportunity to see the food and its preparation à la Chipotle. Here, this presentation was a great idea. The food looked as fresh and delicious as it proved to be. The staff was pleasant and attentive. They seemed to enjoy their job and a small sign on the counter showed their first names under their photos allowing a more egalitarian exchange.

While they do have a great idea, I may have visited on a semi off day. The avocados were overripe and covered with dark bruises, which was kind of a bummer because I pick better avocados at the store. The menu for ordering was also a little confusing and the staff members weren't too willing to help or offer suggestions. They also got my two bowls confused in the end, which resulted in my husband's jalapeño filled bowl topped with my chicken, and my sweet pineapple bowl topped with his shrimp. I'm not usually picky, but having worked in food service for many years I expect a little more from a jazzy restaurant like this! I left feeling like I probably should have just made burrito bowls at home.

This was a 10 star experience. One of the best meals we have had in a long time. Fantastic food and…read moreservice. Was it expensive? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes, every penny. The restaurant has its own separate building. And it has a small private self parking lot. Inside there are two rooms. The one in front has large windows and is lighter and airier. The room in back has a small bar and two tables. Plus a service area and the unisex bathroom. Reservations are a must. We used open table. We came early and luckily our table was ready. Our server, Erica, was a gem. Warm and welcoming. And professional. Didn't miss a trick. She explained the menu to us. There were no specials that evening. I'd original thought I would order the branzino -- which she said was good -- but as they specialize in meats, I ordered steak. We were given an amuse bouche first. Avocado and tomato on a mini taco. Too cute. I started with a Caesar salad. I like anchovies and there were several on top. The salad had a nice garlicky dressing and cubes of sourdough bread croutons. My husband had seared foie gras with figs to start. The appetizer listed on the menu is actually pate -- as Erica explained -- which we didn't realize -- but she said if my husband preferred, they could do an actual piece of foie gras. Yes, please. It's one of his favorites. He said it was spectacular. For our entrees, we both order the small filet mignon. He ordered medium rare and I ordered medium. We like Pittsburgh charred. For a side (they are big enough to share), we got the creamed spinach. Both our steaks were perfectly cooked. We had been given steak knives, but each steak was amazingly tender. And delicious. The spinach was good. It needed just a touch of salt. We ate every bite of both items. Pre-dessert, they give an amuse dessert (!). A small plate of two mini lemon Madeline's and two small round chocolate brownie like cake. For dessert, we shared a slice of flourless chocolate cake. It came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The slice looked meager at first, but the chocolate is so rich and dense and fudgy that I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. I brought a small piece of it home for later when I knew I would appreciate it more. We are already trying to figure out an event or celebration that we can use as an excuse to return here. Talk about a memorable meal? We will think of this superb restaurant for all the rest of our days.

We started with an Old Fashioned, and there's just something about their cocktails that makes the whole experience feel so elevated. We had to try some of their new appetizers, and every single one was amazing. The Japanese A5 Wagyu Cube was incredibly tender and flavorful, the crispy potato with crème fraîche, chives and Ossetra caviar was the perfect little bite, and the smoked tuna tartare was fresh, smoky and delicious. I love that you get to pick out your own knife for the meal. Such a fun little detail that makes dinner feel like an experience from the start. We shared the ribeye with all three sauces, Peppercorn, Red Condimento and Chimichurri, and loved every one. We paired it with the creamed spinach, duck confit mac and cheese and truffle Provençal fries. Everything was so flavorful and perfectly done! My husband tried the Pussy Galore after dinner drink, and we finished with the Heath and Chocolate Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream and coffee chocolate ganache. The perfect ending! What I love most about Nicholson Muir is that you're not just coming to eat. You're coming for the experience, the little details, and a few hours to slow down, reconnect, and simply enjoy being together.

The space was clean with plenty of seating, and the staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They gave me time to browse the menu without any rush, and were ready to take my order the moment I decided. I went with the Falafel and Eggplant Pita Wrap, ordered exactly as it comes -- five crispy handmade falafels, roasted eggplant, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, purple cabbage slaw, white onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lemon tahini sauce. What I loved about the presentation was how they sliced the pita and stuffed the toppings inside the pocket, then placed the eggplant and falafel on the outside before wrapping everything up tightly. It made for a much easier, cleaner eat -- no toppings tumbling out with every bite! My first bite was amazing. The fresh flavors really shined, the falafels were perfectly crispy, and the eggplant had that deep, savory roasted flavor. Every topping complemented the others beautifully, and I walked away completely satisfied. I am so happy I found this fast and healthy option close by! I also grabbed a baklava and a mango sparkling probiotic drink -- both delicious. Beyond the food, they have soft drinks, tea, and lemonade, plus a sauce bar with vinegar and oil if you want to customize your meal even further. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I can't wait to come back and try their other menu options!
