Convenient, small location within the strip-mall on Ocean Ave & the intercostal bridge. Prices are definitely high, but the sushi rolls are delicious! We weren't fans of the Pork Shumi (pork dumplings) or the wine we ordered.

Delicious! Boyfriend and I loved all the rolls. The dragon roll was my favorite. We had the nigori/specialty sake which I think is delicious and also the most cost effective. There is some outdoor seating which is nice but also very cute interior that feels like a cozy atmosphere. We've ordered take out before and I think I liked it. Apparently, my boyfriend spent valentines day here once before (dif gf) and they gave him some sparkling sake. This was my first time experiencing the restaurant in person but I liked it and I think we will be back :-) I found out later that if you use the app GetUpside you can get cash back. This place is great --- the food is fresh and the service is excelente The carrot ginger sauce was at the perfect point. The bow brings Sashimi (Tuna, Yellow tail, Salmon) and California rolls. The box includes miso soup or salad --- yes definitely is recommended for the price !!!

A very small location set in a strip mall; this can either go two ways: poor or amazing. There are 5 tables in the restaurant & 8 seats at the bar. I decided to sit at the bar being that I was eating solo and love chit chatting with the sushi chef about what else other than FOOD. The waitress was extremely friendly, the chef did not say a word. I've been to really elite sushi house's in Denver, Portland, Miami, etc and they have always said hello... even if there English was lacking. I ordered a la carte today to really try how this place is. This is the real test! I got uni sashimi, Ama ebi sushi style, ika aka squid. Let's see what this place is all about. Bottom line: presentation was good, quality was okay, lack of communication at the sushi bar was a killer. Lots of hipp. I would give it a second try this time at night

Came here to enjoy some unfiltered Sake and sushi with some coworkers. The Sake was delicious, and so was the sushi that I had tried. We only had about three rolls, so I need to come back and try more of their menu! The sushi pizza was my favorite, along with their ginger dressing. It's a nice small spot for an intimate sushi experience/date!

Hard to please lauren but they make it happen !

The food was delicious - 3 of us had the fish and chips and we all loved it. Done perfectly - and the fish was fresh and moist. The reason for a 4 and not a 5 is two fold. The prices are a bit high. But I guess the location can get the higher prices. The other was where we were seated. We were outside but near a metal ramp. The work staff repeatedly came by with metal carts and made no attempt to go up the ramp slowly or quietly. The clanging was loud enough to stop our conversation every time. I will most likely go back but I will be sure not to sit next to that metal ramp again!

The setting, like all South FL Intracoastal restaurants, is lovely. It's very nice. You can sip a drink and watch boats go by. It's just a bummer that many of these picturesque places seem to skate by on their location. Prime Catch is SO expensive. I looked over the whole menu. I mean, we all know lobster rolls are pricy, but $46 is a bit much, and the $65 NY Strip is the same price as Ruth's Chris Strip, and I know Ruth's steak is better. Baby zucchini fries were ok, but the batter was overcooked. I did like the aioli topping. The calamari alla vodka was an interesting idea, but the rings weren't hot or crispy enough. The tentacles were good, and I asked for extra when I placed the order, but the bartender said it's pre-portioned and you can't do that. Disappointing. The bartender was competent and nice, and the drinks were decent. It's pretty and it's fine. Just bring a fat wallet and don't expect gourmet food.

The menu had a lot of interesting options, but those two ended up being the highlights for our table. The deviled eggs had a subtle smoky flavor that worked really well without being overpowering. Tonight I went after going on the Tiki boat which leaves out of the same dock that the restaurant is located on. Both times I ordered the Spicy Ahi Tuna Tacos which were absolutely delicious. The vibe of the restaurant is nice and the menu isn't overly pricey for being on the water. The one thing to note is that it was quite buggy tonight with little gnats that bit. We had the tuna tacos which were super dry and tasteless, the po boy which was also extremely dry and lacking sauce and tasteless, Ahi tuna dinner entrée (cook cooked perfectly, but also barely any flavor) and two appetizers, which were the star. Better Than Ever -- and I Didn't Think That Was Possible…read more I'll be honest -- when I heard J&J Seafood Bar and Grill on Atlantic Avenue had changed hands, my heart sank a little. I was a devoted fan under the previous owners and couldn't imagine it getting better. I was so, so wrong. The new owners haven't just maintained what made this place special -- they've elevated it into something truly remarkable. The moment you walk in, you feel it. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and alive in a way that makes you want to linger. They've created a space that feels like a genuine gathering place, and that's a rare thing to find. Now, the food. I ordered the mixed seafood grill, and it was simply spectacular -- fresh, beautifully prepared, and cooked with real care. Each bite reminded me why seafood on the coast should taste like this. And just when I thought the meal couldn't get any better, the turtle cheesecake arrived for dessert. Absolutely divine. Rich, indulgent, and the perfect finish to an already perfect meal. And then there's Chelsea. Our server was warm, attentive, and genuinely delightful -- the kind of person who makes you feel like a regular from the moment you sit down. She perfectly embodies the spirit the new owners have created here. To my fellow South Florida neighbors -- whether you're in Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, or Deerfield Beach -- do yourself a favor and get in here now while the off-season means you can actually snag a table. This gem on Atlantic Avenue is the real deal, and once word fully gets out, you're going to wish you hadn't waited. J&J, you've made a lifelong regular out of me all over again.

The husband-and-wife owners are clearly hands-on... stopping by tables, checking in with guests, and keeping a watchful eye on everything. It's obvious they care and truly want you to have a great time here. I called for a reservation and it was basically sold out... when they said they could take me at 5pm, I grabbed it. Was actually perfect as I was heading over to see the tennis tournament after dinner. On arrival, the place was empty. As expected, when we left, it was completely full. A half bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay was perfect with my lobster. The wine list isn't extensive, but it's well chosen and fairly priced. The food was excellent across the board. A special of Scallops, Crab Cake, topped with Shrimp over Vegetables was fantastic. My guest enjoyed the Clams Oreganata. I loved my Baked Stuffed Lobster (stuffed with crab), served with amazing Mashed Potatoes... and bonus points for a real hand towel after the lobster. Of course, I had to try the key lime pie... very good. Now I understand why this casual, unassuming spot is so popular... it hits on every note. I noticed a bunch of regulars dining at the bar, which looked perfect to me. The bar is walk-in only... so next time I don't have dinner plans, I'll remember I can just walk in and try for a seat. I'm sure I'll see two familiar faces... the owners, Anthony and Christine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Service, even seating at the bar was a bit slow, but very friendly. When we ordered the drinks, these came rather fast but had to wait a bit longer than should have to place our food order. The food was great! The coconut shrimp was perfectly coated and fried. I had the fish and chips and loved how flaky the fish was, and that it was not overly breaded or greasy. But the winner was the Seafood au Gratin dish. This came out bubbling hot, as it should be. Lots of good seafood in lobster, shrimp, scallops with vegetables and the parmesan sauce is amazing.
