Nice surprise running into this spot at the mall, I hadn't seen this type of eating experience since I last visited Japan. I love the idea of speedy service with good food, the quality of the food was incredible with plenty of options available even for someone with a shellfish allergy. The environment is a bit loud since it is in the middle of the mall walkway but worth the experience if you've never tried this.

Stopped by here to try their sushi and it was very good. Service was a 5/5 and food was a 4/5. I would have liked to see other roll options, but the salmon was very fresh and a place anyone could go and enjoy great quality sushi in a mall setting.

Conveyor belt sushi is always so fun. This business model works for sawgrass and the location in a fork of the road between wings of stores is perfect to catch your eye on the sushi moving. The price point is not bad, but not incredible but you're paying for the visual luxury and grabbing a bite or full meal if you want to. It's cute, the waiter was friendly. We'll be back, and also happy to see lots of business there so sushi was fresh.

A really unique sushi eatery in the middle of the Sawgrass Mills Mall. The sushi items are on a conveyor belt moving in a full circle to choose your delight. Most items are in a four piece clear plastic container for about $5.00. They also offer full seating with a waitress. The sushi is freshly made on scene. The decor is very streamline.

I often come here before heading over to a Panthers game. This does the trick. The spicy tuna sandwich (sushi shaped like a sandwich) is truly delish, along with the salmon tacos. My issue with this place is that you'll see the same two dishes coming on the conveyor belt. It's often cream cheese based dishes and as someone who doesn't eat dairy, I find myself having to order which obviously takes longer than just grabbing the dishes in front of you. The dishes are very small (half rolls) and still go for $6-8 a plate.

A fast and fresh sushi location located inside Sawgrass Mills Mall. Good price point with most plates go for about $5.00. Getting to hand pick your options as the conveyor belt moves along is very convenient. The also have a full menu and the staff is friendly. Many great options and all delicious.

This small kiosk is located in the Sawgrass mall near the Forever 21 store. It's the best space for those who are shopping and need a quick stop to eat. The variety is great but some dishes are a little overpriced, as some sushi are portions of 4 units, I think $7.00 is too expensive. This time we ordered the udon soup, the portion is good but the broth is not the best I've ever had, perhaps because it was almost the time the mall was closing it came warm and not hot as it is more enjoyable to eat. I also ordered a Poke Bowl this time, and the portion was very good, I only managed to eat half of it. There is a lot of salmon and tuna but you need to season it to have a good flavor. The attendant was very kind and helpful.

Although I generally avoid the conveyor-belt sushi plates, the made to order items have always been pretty solid. Mind you, it's not the best sushi you'll ever have, but it's definitely average quality or slightly better. The service is always fairly quick and friendly. We've also never had trouble finding a seat at the counter. The booths tend to fill up, but there's a ton of seats around their large counter area. The mall is typically bustling and a little noisy and this restaurant is in the thick of it all. That being said, I've never felt like it was too loud or that we couldn't have a conversation easily. I've been here before and know I'll be back. It's probably the most convenient spot to grab a bit when walking through the mall and is a step above the food offerings in the food court in my opinion.

Sushigami is a sushi bar right in the middle of Sawgrass Mall. After shopping fir several hours, 16 year old and I were famished. sushigami still has their conveyor belt with covered items. You can also order from off the menu. At the beginning, it seemed like there were very few items available on the conveyer belt but more came around eventually so we did not order from the menu. The sushi was decent. My favorite was definitely the tuna and salmon tacos. The prices are definitely high. A quick lunch for two ended up being almost $70. I would probably visit the food court next time.

We come here pretty frequently since we live so close, and we have NEVER had a bad experience here. The wait staff is always so helpful and attentive, and the owner is on another level, on multiple occasions he has given our kiddos free donuts, and today he went out of his way to make our table this adorable dessert plate. It was so unexpected but immensely appreciated. It's always an amazing eating experience here! The owner is phenomenal!!

Not too bad, even for the price. The most expensive plate on the conveyor belt is $6 which isn't bad, but it does add up quickly. There are only about 2-4 pieces of sushi per plate so to feel full it will be $60-$80 to feed a party of two. When compared to a normal sushi restaurant the price is pretty average. The fish is good, not great sushi quality, but decent. The rolls seem to have a lot of fillers instead of fish and the rice was pretty dry on most rolls. It's a fun place to eat, but it is in the middle of the mall so everyone walking by may ruin the ambiance for some. We didn't see a variety of options on the belt unfortunately until the end. Definitely need to wait a bit before choosing anything to see everything available. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the experience. Fun to go to every once in a while.

I always want to like this place. It's convenient, unique, and the food isn't terrible. The big issue for me here is the cleanliness. The sushi really sits out for long periods of time not just on the conveyor belt, but also waiting in the prep area to go on the belt. Every time I go here there are flies around and the tables are sticky from spilled soy sauce since they serve it in flimsy plastic cups. They use a rag that stinks to wipe the table. Idk, the whole time I'm there I just feel dirty. It really ruins the experience for me every time. But hey, I keep coming back when I'm dying for food during long shopping trips, so there's that. It's also SO overpriced. On some plates they charge $4.50 or $5 for just two pieces of sushi. You can definitely get more for your money pretty much anywhere else.

Love it...it's great for short attention spans, instant gratification, small tastes of different types of sushi, and of course, people watching. The plates are color coded, for $3-7 per plate, 4 pieces of sushi per plate. I did start getting a complex though, when the plates started to stack up and people started staring. The high volume of people on a weekend at Sushigami is key...I wouldn't want to get conveyor belt sushi otherwise. You can also order from a menu, but what's the fun with that when there are dishes moving past you constantly? read more

Went to Sawgrass mall last weekend for a quick shopping fix and saw this funky cool sushi place right in the middle of the mall. It's all stark white, modern booths and the place was pretty crowded so we had to try it. We've never eaten at a Sushi restaurant with the little conveyer belts going around and it was so cool! No waiting for a chef to make what you want, you can just grab and eat! The plates have different colored rims which indicate the prices so it's pretty much fool proof and it was really yummy! The plates ranged from about $3 for a basic 4 piece roll to $8 for a more gourmet one. It was really cool! The one thing I will say is that since you are sitting basically in the middle of the mall with shoppers walking by at all times, be prepared to be stared at. Don't get self-concious when you drop that roll off your chopsticks because 50 people just saw it! :) All joking aside, it was a cool experience. We went with our 8 month old son and it was great because you could get in and out quickly. We will definitely be back! read more

The quality of the sushi is good and I love picking what I want off the conveyor belt. Too bad about half of the belt was totally empty today! There were big gaps in the space between items because so many choices were completely bare. Not sure why when there were 5 staff behind the sushi station. Also, be prepared for a hefty bill. It was $60.00 without tip for 2. There's only 4 pieces per little plate and most we had were $8.00 each. The volcano roll is delicious though. They're totally stingy with the iced tea. How much could it possibly cost them to make the unsweetened green tea and they can't even give you a free refill? They're greedy. Can't give more stars because of today's lunch and that's a shame. read more

I've never been to a place like this before, so trying something out like a conveyor belt sushi bar is new to me. This place is not over priced like a lot of people are saying. The most expensive are large portions of four pieces of sushi/roll that are topped to the highest point of the cover that is placed on top of the plate. But of course, since it's in a mall of all places DO NOT expect authentic Japanese/Chinese/Thai cuisine. Like... It's a mall... It's not gonna provide authentic cuisine of any sorts. So do not get your hopes up. $6 for four rolls that are topped highly, making it 1.50 for each piece. Sounds fine to me. It's also very tasty. I love the volcano roll! For the thing about the employees having access to water; they're wrong as well. I'm sitting right where I can see them making the food. There are only three people making the food, and none of them touch anything EXCEPT the food and the machines to make the food. They DO have access to water, and have been seeing the employees switch out gloves and wash hands. The makers are cleanly. They are not contaminating anything here. The service is a little slow, but that's expected since its in the middle of a busy busy BUSY mall. Good thing there are buzzers for service though! Everyone is super friendly, especially if you are friendly to them. I've visited twice in one day, and I don't regret it at all. This place is good. Only people in the food industry can see the real problems here. read more

Cute little sushi spot inside Sawgrass Mills Mall. It's right by Forever 21 & It's Sugar. I love that the sushi is prepared and you can pick from a conveyor belt that moves it along past your table. They don't put out most of the rolls or sushi plates, so you have to look through the menu and request the dishes. The sushi is really good and fresh considering it being mall food. However, it's pricey! Prices vary and are indicated by the different colored plates that the sushi is served on. It can add up but still a fun experience. Be sure to try the tuna tataki, masago & you can't leave without getting the Mochi!! The mango and red beam are a must. read more

I came to the sawgrass mall for my periodic shopping and what a surprise was waiting for me in the middle of the mall? sushigami! And I fell in love! I am a big sushi fan and I was curious to see how the concept works, the friendly server told me that their executive chef was the chef of the famous POD restaurant of Stephan Starr (think Morimoto, Buddhakan, etc..), the food was so yummy, the staff was so nice and friendly. If you order from the menu you will get a nice fresh sushi, anyways the sushi that comes to you is not that fresh but it is very good as well. Nice experience, something different to try. Loved it! Took my wife for shopping in Sawgrass mills last week, and since we are both Sushi lovers, we ware very Pleased to see the new addition to the Mall. We was seating very nicely by the nice host, who gave us a short but informed information of how the concept works. We tried variety of Dishes from the Moving belt, that kept bringing us fresh and tasty Sushi and more. We also ordered the Tomato salad that was awesome, and a special made Friend Chicken Roll that was Great as well. the service was nice and professional, and when we ask the shift manager a question he took 10 min of his time to explain us about the company and the Sushi. we also Had a couple of cold Saki and they also served cold beers witch was decent for a nice Shopping day. Overall We really enjoyed the experience of Sushigami , and will defiantly stop by for more in our next visit to Sawgrass mall. its defintly a place to chill in the middle of a hard shopping day! Think about it! This place is located in the middle of a mall. There is no running water and these employees have no access to water to wash their hands! I went to this restaurant the other day. It was just convenient since I was at the Sawgrass. First, the waitress asked me what I wanted to drink. I responded water. She brought me a bottled water which I had to pay for $2.50. I didn't mind paying... But, she should have asked if I still wanted. The gyoza was deep fried. In their menu, the gyoza looked like pan fried of even steamed, I asked the waitress "Are these deep fried?" Because if I knew they will serve me the deep fried gyoza, I didn't order it. She said "this is what we have!" and turned around. They do not want to hear your complain. They just put things on your table and turn around! The service is terrible! We also ordered udon. I don't understand how somebody even can make udon so terribly! I am Japanese... and this place makes us look bad. These are not authentic Japanese food. The waitress checked up on us once...asking how we are doing. I was kind of making my face trying to show her I was not happy. But, of course, she didn't care. She didn't want to talk to me. I will never go back to this place. The publix sushi is much much better than this place! read more

This might be the most unhygienic conditions mixed with horrible service I have ever exposed myself to. Before you ask yourself if I am unreasonable please look at this place and look for running water for the customers/employees to wash their hands. Then if your like me who has worked at forever 21 and has seen sushi platters constantly rotate hours and hours when fish is supposed to be refrigerated. You might think twice and go spend the extra dollar for actual sushi that is not in the middle of a mall. I get the conveyor belt is neat but it should not be at the expense of the food read more

My absolute favorite sushi place! I come every coupla months from ga and I have to eat here atleast 2xs before leaving! The food is always consistent! Ive even ordered uber eats before i hoped in the car to go to the airport and was not disappointed. I crave it lol I wish there was one here in ga! Sushigami is one of the few places that I could say make great sushi. The various selection of sushi goes around and you just grab the one you would like to eat, there's some that must order separately. Each plate has a different color, the color symbolizes the price you will be paying. The most you will pay for a Sushi is $6 and the least is $3 which is amazing because you get to eat various of them. The place was fairly clean but customer service wasn't that great. read more

My fiancé and I have walked passed this sushi bar a million and one times and never stopped in to eat. BOY WERE WE MISSING OUT!! We had such a delightful experience and some really tasteful food. From the moment we approached the bar to the moment we left, we received amazing customer service. Will was such a sweetheart. He was extremely attentive and had some amazing recommendations. Food was presented QUICKLY, FRESH and DELICIOUS!! Mid meal, we were checked on by the manager Karen. She was very sweet and down to earth, and very accommodating. The menu items were color coated which made it easy for us to distinguish between. We will most definitely be returning!! Thank you!! read more

We visit Florida about once a year and with all the great restaurants in Florida its funny but we never miss going to the sushi place in the mall with the revolving choices. Sure it is a bit of a novelty but they actually have really great sushi. It is fresh with lots of great options. Our favorite is the taco sushi. if you are at Sawgrass it is worth trying. read more

For someplace that is in a very busy location inside the mall and where they don't automatically put in a tip, they are quite inattentive. The buttons seam not to work and the servers and management don't look people In the eyes. It's service 101, keep eye contact and continuously scan your area for peoples indications that they need something. It happens every time we come here. If it weren't for the quick access to the Californian rolls for our boys, I don't think we would stop here everyone we are inside sawgrass. read more

After shopping and enjoying a nice afternoon at Sawgrass Mall this sushi restaurant sits in the middle of the mall. It's unique setting and conveyor belt style deliver your sushi on little plates while you sit and enjoy lunch. They offer different types of specialties that you can have made to order. The wait staff is friendly my only complaint would be that they're not as attentive as a traditional sushi house but then again you're in the middle of the mall and it's all about convenience. Overall it was a great experience. It was our second time having lunch there- the sushi is good and taste fresh. It's got a nice ambience that allows you to people watch and enjoy the surroundings. read more

I loved the idea of revolving sushi bar. They had a roll with sweet potato that I really loved. It was great being able to shop and then grab a quick bite without leaving the mall. Great for grab and go! read more

Surprisingly good, fresh tasting sushi. Friendly service and doesn't really get faster than having it cart around right in front of you. I have two complaints, one is, that even though the fish tasted good, the avocado was clearly already turning and brown. Also they don't put their whole menu on the turn table. They only had like 5 different sushis rotating around, and of course they are the more expensive ones. They are willing to make it for you, but it defeats the whole purpose of shopping and dining on the go. I'd like to see more options rotating around. Iv been meaning to try this stop for a while and glad that I did, will do this again next time I'm here read more

Sushigami is an okay place to have sushi, but it's definitely not a destination. And while it's neat that it's in the middle of the mall, it's also a bit concerning to me because raw rolls especially need proper handle and care. That being said, I tried two kinds of their cooked rolls (2 plates), and though I was told it was freshly made because it wasn't on the conveyor belt, they weren't even luke warm. The rolls were okay, but to me, it wasn't much better than what I could get at a fast food Japanese place / in the fridge at the supermarket. Service left a lot to be desired, since it took them a while to notice I wanted help/a drink. Then it took them a while to figure out that they promised me my check. (No offense, but this is self service--there are only 2 things you could have messed up on.) With tip, it ran me about $15. It's a little expensive for the quality you receive (because you have to tack on tip for a taste you could have easily gotten from the food court), but it's still in the line of a normal sushi roll. I guess you could try it for the experience, but honestly it's not that novel to have something rotating around you. The only advantage that I really find from dining here is the expediency (no waiting unless it's not on the belt... then a little waiting) and the ability to try more kinds of rolls due to the smaller portion sizes. read more

Fun unique experience. Sat down and watched the sushi go by. Started picking out what I liked, filled up, paid my bill and left. Quality was pretty good, loved the convenience. Was enameled by the food rolling all around in a track. To make it a 5, maybe slightly better quality - though it was all fresh, and about slightly less $$. read more

Fun, different experience. Located inside the mall, you sit at the counter and the sushi comes to you on a conveyor which carries the food around the restaurant. Similar places exist in Japan. Most of the items were fresh and tasty and if the specific item you want is not on the conveyor they will make it for you. Some menu items always have to be ordered like soup and salads. Servers were attentive and friendly. However there were many negatives. The prices are a bit high and the bill mounts up quickly. Keep track of your color coded plates. Our bill was incorrect twice. I give this place 5 stars. The experience is quite unique, you don't see many conveyor belt sushi places around in the USA. It's very much like how you see in Japan! The food was great and I can't wait to go back again. It is fun to watch the sushi go by, and watch the sushi chefs preparing the sushi. I can't cut fish or avocado that thin and fast! Also, since the plates are color coded, you can easily tell how much the different sushi are.
