A quick value sushi shop that offers great food, friendly service and low prices. Called Sushi take-out, it still has 3 small tables for dinning in. Basic place get it done right.

This place is a hidden gem. Affordable sushi that's GOOD! There are only 2 tables, so it's really a takeout spot. But their menu is great, and specifically the sashimi is very fresh. Couldn't recommend more!

Just returning once again with another review of this wonderful spot. My friends and I work a couple blocks away and get takeout pretty much every week at least once for lunch - it's just so convenient and the food is great and worth it! Go-to items: new times roll & dynamite roll, although we all have our own favorites haha. Fun little spot with a cute look, little seating area inside, super convenient for takeout (free relatively easy parking) and the staff are so welcoming and friendly.

Great spot for takeout. I recommend ordering in advance, they don't have many seats. It's been here for years & the taste is consistent. The restaurant is fully staffed so the wait is not long. Everything tastes great & is packaged correctly. I plan on going back.

Very pleased! It was a little bit of a drive just for take out and given there are a lot of other closer choices. I was glad I did though. And would be happy to go back. The prices are very good as was the quality. I am a basic sushi eater so I don't need or want fancy rolls. I got 2 salmon rolls, 2 JB rolls, and hotate nigiri. Order was ready in under 20min. The storefront is small. Basically, a sushi counter with like 3 or 4 chefs ready to go and a cashier. Looked quite efficient. The food hit the spot. I was happy with the size of rolls and the hotate/scallop. Not every place offers affordable raw scallop. This was one of the more affordable places and it wasn't like half a scallop like I've seen some places skimp. Lots of soy sauce and ginger provided. The only confusing thing is the prices. The online menu prices (both their site and doordash) are different/higher than what they have posted all over the store. Honestly, not sure which is accurate. Is it cheaper to order in store? If lower prices are available, this would definitely compel me to come back even sooner and more often. Guess I'll have to call to find out. Happy with my first experience though!

So my friends and I arrived for a show around the corner and were famished. They suggested that we try Sushi One and I was skeptical at first. For such a small restaurant with just a few tables, this place was out of this world! The sushi was fresh and delicious. The bento boxes my friends ordered were also freshly prepared and tasty. The service was quick and friendly. Don't judge a restaurant by its size - this place will knock your socks off!

I've been coming to this fast-casual sushi spot for over 10 years, and it has never let me down. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, but what really keeps me coming back is the family behind the counter. Everyone here is always kind, welcoming, and genuinely willing to help in any way they can. This place feels like home. You're not just another customer you're treated like family. If you're ever visiting Fort Lauderdale, FL, and you're anywhere near the NW corner of Broward Blvd and US-1, do yourself a favor and stop in. I recommend this sushi restaurant without hesitation. 10 out of 10 for me every single time.

I decided to try this place a week ago and have been 4 times since including right now. The place is small and quaint, you can eat in for a few people. The sushi is very affordable and fresh and very good. I love the combinations so that I can have multiple things for a very good price. Service is fast and efficient. I will be back like I am today!!!

So many times I have driven past Sushi One Take-out and mentally made plans to stop there to try the sushi. Well I made it a point to come here as soon as I got off from work. Located in the Palm Court Pavilion, Sushi One Take-out is a compact business that offers the following: · Roll combinations/specialty roll · Nigiri/hosomaki · Appetizers/bento box · Soups/noodle soups · Party platters There's a menu taped on the glass by the entrance so I took a few minutes to look at it and made my decision. I noticed the long line of people and asked the man standing by the door if he was standing in line. He said no he was waiting on his order. Apparently everyone standing against the wall was waiting. Okay...I had to squeeze myself past everyone down the narrow walkway to place my order. It was a bit of a wait, but eventually I was able to order some California roll and Gyoza. My order was ready within 5-10 minutes. I wasn't able to sit inside and eat cause they was about to close soon so I sat in my vehicle. The California roll was freshly made and was delicious. The only thing that spoiled it was the salty soy sauce. The Gyoza was also well prepared, but the sauce given was a bit salty. I'm taking off a star for the salty sauces since Yelp doesn't do half stars. If I was to get sushi from this place again, I'm gonna ask if they have low sodium soy sauce. $5 for 8pc sushi roll was not bad.

I cannot tell you how awesome this place is because it is ahhhhmazing. These guys are pumping out rolls one right after the other with 4 of them on the line. The ladies at the register (mom/daughter) were the sweetest. Very welcoming people. The rolls were huuuuuuge. The pricing is decent. We were so pleased with this place, we cannot wait to come back to Ft Lauderdale to have more!!!

I've heard good things about Sushi One so, as a self-appointed sushi enthusiast, I knew I had to try. It's a small, quaint spot located in a plaza, so parking is easy. The prices of sushi, especially the offered sushi combos, is a huge selling point. And at those great prices, the sushi is awesome. It tasted fresh and the sushi rice had a great texture and chew. We got the shrimp shumai, sushi combo 10 (because it comes with my favorite: JB roll), salmon nigiri, and another sushi combo that came with spicy tuna maki, salmon maki, and hamachi maki. Everything was really fantastic. I understand the love for Sushi One now, and I'm sure so will others once they give it a try.

Parking was easy, with a metered lot conveniently located across the street. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and requested outdoor seating so we could enjoy the waterfront views and watch the boats pass by. The atmosphere was relaxing, scenic, and definitely one of the highlights of the experience. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had a great personality. Table snacks was a small bowl of popcorn. To start, we ordered a Pearl Bourbon Smash and a Dragon Margarita. The Bourbon Smash was so good that we ordered a second one. The Margarita wasn't my favorite, but I finished it and followed it up with a Sensei Old Fashioned. For our entrees, we ordered the Korean BBQ Bulgogi and the Korean Steak Chimicurri (spelled that way on the menu, so I'm not sure if it was intentional). The Bulgogi portion was generous, and we really wanted to love it, but unfortunately the meat arrived cold. That was disappointing, especially after being told that everything is made from scratch. My husband's entree was served about 10 minutes before mine, which wasn't ideal. Generally, guests dining together should be served at the same time. I encouraged him to start eating so his meal wouldn't get cold, but unfortunately it already was. My steak arrived hot and was cooked slightly more than the medium temperature I requested, leaning closer to medium-well. Despite that, I still enjoyed it. It was served with jasmine rice and maduros, which complemented the dish nicely. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience. The waterfront setting, pleasant service, and enjoyable cocktails made for a great outing. We would definitely consider returning, especially to combine dinner with one of the boat tours. To top it off, our server gave us a bag of cotton candy. I felt like a kid. I haven't eaten cotton candy in years

Because we shared, it's hard to pinpoint which specific dish may have caused the issue. However, within hours of eating, we both experienced significant gastrointestinal symptoms. I personally started burping up the taste of pork ramen around 1am and have been dealing with ongoing severe stomach issues since about 2am. It's understandable that foodborne illness can sometimes be difficult to trace to one specific item, but since we shared everything and both became ill the same night, it felt important to share our experience. We hope the restaurant reviews food handling and preparation practices to prevent this from happening to others. Unfortunately, this was a very uncomfortable experience for us and we wont ever eat at this location again.

I asked the server how long they have been open and he said 8 months but I see Yelp pics and reviews dating back at least 3 years. Someone must have told him the wrong information but no matter, we are just glad we finally found it. We went with the classic Shoyu Ramen with nishu beef and black garlic. I was over the moon when they touted a 12 hour chicken broth soup base. Every ramen shop I have tried to get ramen from has a pork based broth which I do not eat. I'm finally able to have ramen and boy it did not disappoint. The noodles were perfectly al dente and had a satisfying chew with every bite. The broth was so flavorful with the bamboo shoots, bean sprouts and all the slow cooked fats and oil from the chicken broth and the nishu beef, which was tender, thinly sliced rib-eye meat, I suspect. All this topped off with a perfectly cooked soy marinated egg. What an amazing flavor combination. The takoyaki appetizer was also delicious. Biting into the crispy exterior, you are then met with a soft and tender interior filled with chunks of octopus. The balls sat atop Japanese mayo and was drizzled with delicious takoyaki sauce. All it was missing was the katsuobushi which would have elevated the takoyaki flavor. We also ordered the Mala Shrimp which was on the Chinese menu and did not come with rice. That had to be ordered separately. Food came out quick as we were the only patrons apart from another table outside and service was good until a large party sauntered in and the server became inundated with requests. All in all, we will definitely be back to try out other menu items.
