First time to this place and we are going to be back soon! Food and sushi were both tasty and well prepared. We got the bulgogi bowl because we haven't seen it at a place like this before and we fell in love. The meat was juicy and no fat on it. The rolls were also good. I like when the fish is cold and taste fresh and they got a two thumbs for on that for from me. Workers are friendly and made sure to come to the table to check on us as well as making sure everything taste good. Monday- Friday happy hour is till 5pm, which is 15% off your bill. This is awesome because sometimes I will eat a lot of sushi rolls. Excited to try this place again in the very near future and share this location with my friends and family. read more

Happened to be in the area and in the mood for sushi. Omg, glad Sushiholic was nearby. We ordered the Aloha Roll, the Spicy Tuna Roll, and an order of gyoza to go. The wait was about 10 min and the food came out very fresh. I was surprised that the Aloha Roll didn't come with pineapple or something cliche like that, and glad it didn't. My first time at Sushiholic. Everyone's first for something. I got the Sun kissed roll and I must say that this roll was really fresh and tasty. An awesome roll in which I think all you spicy tuna lovers should try. I am a huge fan of this roll and I think once the roll touches your lips, you kiss and taste the sun. That does not make sense, but whatevers. I also got to taste the diablo roll, rainbow roll, and something that the chef made for us. Awesome place forsures. "I'm going to let you finish, but the service here was one of the greatest" Yes, the service was quick AND I do not remember your name, but he remembered 7 people's orders from just memory. Not to mention the other customers he had to take care of. Come on. Can this place get an Amen?!? We did have a big party relative to the size of the place, yet they were very accommodating. For such a small restaurant, this place offers a whole lot of choices when it comes to Japanese food and some fusion as well. There are several kinds of salads, appetizers, lots of sushi options, rice bowls, and rice dish sets. They also had a separate specials menu. We ordered crunchy rice spicy tuna, bulgogi kimchee taco, mango salmon roll, bulgogi roll, crunchy rice spicy crab, and the holic roll (I think that was the name). We loved everything we ordered. Second time there. Sushi rolls are sub par. I asked the waitress what was in the ramen and said I just wanted broth and noodles. Meal came and it was all wrong. I thought Sushiholic was a good roll place... All the rolls were extremely good but I thought they all kind of tasted the same... We ordered their Phily Tempura Roll, Diablo Roll, Jala Jala Roll, Baked Lobster Roll, and Crazy Roll... Don't get me wrong, the rolls were good. They were tasty, large, and reasonably priced. But like I said, I just expected more of variety in taste in the different rolls... If I had to pick... the Diablo & Jala Jala Roll were probably my favorites... We actually ordered the above rolls & 2 tempura udons to go and I really appreciated the fact that they neatly packed all the sauces & noodles & tempura separately so that the food wouldn't get soggy... I know it's kind of common sense but people forgot or they get too lazy... The girls at the register & the sushi chefs were really friendly and nice and made us feel very welcomed. I seriously love the spicy tuna nachos with a passion! I live in Tustin, but found this place when I was looking for somewhere to grab lunch to go when I was between jobs in the area. Now whenever I'm within 15mins of Sushiholic I order the nachos. I know I could show my local sushi chef a picture and they could probably make it, but it's salsa that makes this so good! I know calling in an order sometimes isn't as convenient as ordering on line but it's cheaper for you and better for Sushiholic. You and Sushiholic don't have to pay the service fees. read more

Came to Sushiholic on a Friday night, it was super packed! Restaurant/Atmosphere: Came looking for some sushi while I was in the area, and was pleasantly surprised. Sushiholic is located in the shopping center with the new Ross and soon to open Grocery Outlet. Inside is not big at all with maybe 10ish tables. It can fill up quick, but people seem to not care about waiting. Food: I ordered the Jessica roll, others in my group ordered the Teriyaki bowl and some crunch rolls. The rolls are about the usual size as other sushi places. The fish was not super super fresh, but it was delicious and had a nice texture. The crunch roll had so much crunch on it, that you couldn't really tell where the cuts were in the roll (not necessarily a bad thing, just thought it was funny looking.) Some people in my group really enjoy the teriyaki here, I did not get around to trying it, but it is kind of hard to mess up teriyaki in my opinion. I would give the rolls a 3/5 rating, not the best I've had, but above average for sure. Overall: Overall I would about 3.75 Stars. It is good in a pinch, or if I am in the area and really craving sushi. They have quite a large menu, so I may need to do some exploring on it next time. read more

It's a terrific place to get sushi! Especially locally for the Whittier/La Mirada area. I've gone quite a few times already and each time, the food I've gotten has been delicious. If you come and visit, I recommend their rolls specifically their spider roll, and I recommend their miso ramen. The only thing I have a nit pic with is the Miso soup sometimes doesn't have many tofu pieces or seaweed. And I do like miso soup with more ingredients in it. But again that's just a nit pick. So many options without rice and all delicious! Small restaurant in a low traffic strip mall. Staff is very friendly, it can get busy so patience is a must! As for the sushi...good quality and great flavors. My favorite no rice options are the superman burrito, albacore carpaccio, yellow tail collar and pink lady roll. Great little hole in the wall sushi spot. Here's my take on this restaurant: *Food (Tasty!) - The sushi is surprisingly good and everything I've ordered so far has been tasty. I would highly recommend there Mango Roll, melts in your mouth. *Service (Friendly!) - Great workers here, always come to check up to see if you need anything regularly and lots of smiles. *Restroom (There is none) - The only down side to this place is that they don't have a restroom. So make sure you come fully comfortable and ready to just eat. *Environment (Quiet) - Not very private due to the space being limited but not unless you are super anti social, you should be fine! I have been here twice so far and every time I crave a sushi fix, I will be heading over here from work and home. read more
