    Get in My Belly Bowl
    Grater F.

This location is located immediately on the left as you walk into Citizen Public Market in downtown Culver City. A super cute little cafe/restaurant with toasts, acai bowls, poke, etc. I ordered a small size of the Get In My Belly bowl and it was delicious. I was worried the small wouldn't be enough but it was jam packed with so much nutrients and tasted delicious. Service was great and there is lots of seating in the back (both indoor and outdoor). I would definitely eat here again. For parking I recommend parking in the garage just off of Cardiff Ave two blocks over.

We went to the Citizen Public Market, where's there's always good food, and we discovered the newest location (apparently) for Sustainabowl. Having never tried them, and because I have a mild manageable addiction to Poke & Sushi, we decided to give them a try. The folks working here are ultra friendly, and told us about their menu and selections. We tried the Hello Dubai bowl and it was amazing! Nothing like any Poke Bowl I've ever tried, not even close. The spices and fish mixture were very unique to say the least. I'd describe the flavors as middle east-ish, Indian-ish. I've attached a picture of their menu to give an idea of this bowl and their other items. We saw them making the Get in my Belly bowl for someone else and it too looked fantastic. Can't wait to return

The best AÇAÍ in SoCal. Recommend regular PB bowl Best to dine in to get the full effect..

I got the poke bowl and it was beautiful and colorful and had a good amount of salmon in it and The rice was cooked well! It was the most intricate poke I've ever had! Service was a bit slower but the server was really nice and accommodating. I loved their decor which had a lot of natural colors and plants!

Hard to find parking! And it took them over 30 minutes to give me the order (they might prioritize the people that didn't order to go) BUT it was probably the best açaí bowl I've had. So I suppose it was worth the wait... so tasty!

So excited for Coconut Smoothie Bowl and Coconut Water

Sustainabowl is a brilliantly curated spot for sustainable, delicious bowls in Los Angeles. If you appreciate well-sourced ingredients, stylish ambiance, and don't mind paying for it--or waiting a bit--it's absolutely worth a visit. I got the coconut smoothie bowl, it was mind blowing

    Matcha Protein Smoothie

Matcha Protein Smoothie - Green, healthy smoothie. Strong almond and earthy flavors. Protein powder adds thickness to the drink. Complex flavor and fun toppings. I wish it was colder with more ice-y frozen quality to it, as it warmed up faster than I would like. The to-go cup is cute. For the price, I wouldn't get it again unless the sizing increased. It was a good one time treat but not something I would get regularly.

This is a to go bowl and it's unbelievable that they did same presentation as dine in. They are awesome Highly recommended from my side

The açaí bowl was amazing--smooth, rich, and topped with fresh fruits and granola. Great portion size and perfect for a healthy treat. Highly recommend!" Not only was the açaí bowl super tasty, but the presentation was on point! Fresh, colorful, and so satisfying " Totally recommend this spot if you're craving something refreshing and healthy! The staff was kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. Definitely recommend this place!" The restaurant has a very nice and attractive environment, and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a refreshing and relaxing spot!"

So first time here was pleasantly surprised. We ordered matcha tea hot and cold delicious!! Food amazing! Avocado toast and a nut butter toast with fruit! Very fancy and tasty! Made perfectly! Service was great! Ambiance was really nice. We stayed in but we had a choose to take our food and drink up stairs to there open patio. A must come to place! They also have other restaurants in side . A must see!

Vegan Belly Bowl and Watermelon Juice
    Joy R.

We stumbled upon this healthy dinner spot and it was amazing! The food was both pleasing to the eyes and belly. Speaking of belly - that's what I was recommended : Vegan Belly Bowl! The staff were all smiles and made for a pleasant experience. I loved that I could get my veggie fix on while my girlfriend got noodles from the stall next door. We enjoyed our meal and it was such a super fun atmosphere. Neither of us had to sacrifice on our food in order to eat together. Added bonus: all the cute doggies strolling through.

    Osaka Bowl

They are right when you walk into the Citizen Public Market. Good service and great food, I would argue the Osaka Bowl was the best poke bowl I've ever had. It was fun to eat the flowers they put on it too. The white matcha had blue matcha which made it fun to drink and pretty to look at.

    Purple Protein Smoothie
    Anatashia L.

I can't wait to explore more options at Sustainabowl! I ordered the Purple Protein and it was everything I wanted--thick, hearty, nutritious, and absolutely delicious. The combination of coconut shreds, cacao nibs and dates added the perfect depth and texture. I'm still thinking about it and already counting down the days until I can go back!

The cozy swinging chairs, the lush creeping greenery, and the peaceful vibe make you want to linger a little longer. But as beautiful as the space is, the real star is the food. Absolutely delectable. Every single thing on the menu looked incredible, and somehow they managed to deliver on every bite. It's rare that I can honestly say I'd order anything on a menu--but this is one of those places. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. You truly can't go wrong. I'll be back again and again, every chance I get.

At some places I've had açaí bowls that start melting almost immediately, but this one stayed thick and dense the entire time. I would definitely come back for it again. The blue matcha was okay. Next time I'd probably try the regular matcha instead. I'm taking off half a star only because the matcha came out much later and we were almost finished with our açaí bowl by the time it arrived, but it wasn't a big deal. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the music added to the vibe. Overall, I'd recommend this place and would happily come back.

I love seafood and tend to wait until I'm in Santa Barbara or San Diego for less expensive seafood- however, this is probably the best quality seafood with the best prices in LA! This time, I got the Cajun fish and chips combo and the north shore shrimp plate. This was about $38 which was not bad for the size! There are also daily specials, like Taco Tuesday or burrito specials on Mondays. This specific location is in Culver City in a pretty busy area. I paid on the street but I think there may be a validated lot nearby. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and staff was kind. Will definitely be back!

It is pretty clean, but ever so uncomfortable. All the chairs are metal and that is not enjoyable in any way. They also have take away and delivery. They are not open for dinner. Most of their food is fish. My husband had fish and chips and it made him sick. They took clearly frozen fish, dipped it in batter and cooked the heck out of it, leaving the batter hard and the fish burned in some spots and raw in others, also part of the batter was still raw. He had 2 bites and in the trash it went. He still got sick from it. Now, I know they use frozen fish and that is fine, but you need to let it run under hot water or let it thaw before you batter it. The fries were not good. The cole slaw was okay. I had calamari and it was just awful. It also went into the trash. It was the cheap type large ring calamari and the batter was okay, but the calamari was ever so touch. I needed a knife and fork just to cut it. The service is average.

What started as a quick search turned into one of the best sushi experiences I've had in a long…read moretime. We were in the area for my son's doctor's appointment and discovered this place nearby. What a bonus! If you're anywhere close, it's absolutely worth a visit. The sushi here is next-level. You can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients--the freshness of the rice, the fish, and the attention to detail in every bite. I started with salmon and tuna nigiri, plus a salmon roll that was cut into small bite-sized pieces. Honestly, I was popping them into my mouth like candy. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. They also have a great selection of hot foods. Right when you walk in, you're greeted by freshly prepared unagi (eel), which looked amazing. They also offer katsu, and other ready-to-eat items. I grabbed a Spam musubi, and wow--it may be the best Spam musubi I've ever had, even better than some I've had in Hawaii. The Spam still had a slight crispiness, the egg added richness, and the seasoning brought everything together with an incredible umami flavor. What I love most is that the place reminds me of a Japanese convenience store (konbini)--but an upscale version. It's like Tsukigi market had a store in Ginza. You can buy fresh seafood, ingredients to make your own sushi at home, or simply grab a meal and enjoy it there. The quality throughout the store is outstanding. The atmosphere is great too. There's always a buzz of people shopping for sushi or enjoying their food outside in the seating area. It feels lively and authentic. One suggestion: try to get there early if you can. They had so many ready-made sushi trays, rolls, nigiri, and prepared foods available, but a lot of them were already nearly sold out by the time I got there. I noticed a sign saying items are made fresh regularly throughout the day, which is a great sign of how popular and fresh everything is. Still, if you want first pick of all the goodies, I'd recommend arriving earlier. My only real complaint is the parking. The lot is small, and during busy times you'll probably need some patience. I visited on a weekday during rush hour, but once I got my food, it was completely worth it. The drive back to Simi Valley flew by because I couldn't stop eating and thinking about how good everything was. I honestly can't wait to find another excuse to come back. This place is such a treat. If you're looking for high-quality sushi, fresh seafood, delicious prepared foods, and a taste of Japan without getting on a plane, this place delivers.
