This place is really close to The Hammer museum by UCLA. I came here with a couple of friends on a Saturday at around 2:30pm and there were two people manning the store. Both the guy and the girl were incredibly friendly, professional, patient and helped us 3 get exactly what we wanted. I went with a large (4 scoops) poke bowl and my two friends each had a medium. The key element for every single poke shop is the freshness of the ingredients, and this place was no exception. Both the protein and the veggies were as fresh as they could be, chopped/minced/cut to perfection and with a great presentation. The actual store was clean, quiet, and a perfect place to eat a calm lunch. Then we had some of their mochi (there were only two flavors left) which were pretty good. 10/10. Highly recommended place.

Ordered delivery via Uber Eats. I think it's overall good. The price is standard for the city. The mix in and side options are different than other spots, at least if ordering online. For example, you get two sides which include options of imitation crab, avocado (extra $), edamame, seaweed salad, squid salad or tamago. You get up to 5 mix ins which include cucumber, red onion, cilantro, pineapple or corn. For many other places, the options of "sides" are included in the mix ins. But I guess their mix ins are literally items that are mixed into the fish. I think the fish tasted really fresh but the mix in portion (as you can probably see in the photo) was really watery. So it was kind of a lot when eating the meal. I do think the amount of fish given is good (not necessarily generous or abundant but better than other spots).

Best poke on the west LA side. 8 oz poke will still be my favorite over all poke in SoCal but if you want a yummy poke bite the west side, this is definitely it. Reasons why this spot is amazing: * extremely fresh poke (for the main fishes like salmon and tuna. The octopus can be a little old) * tamago & spicy imitation crab & seaweed salad (& pineapple) are available as toppings. * good variety of sauces (yuzu ponzu, yuzu wasabi, eel sauce, spicy mayo...etc) * the small bowl + two salmon handrolls was surprisingly enough to fill me. I normally get a large but I now realize that's excessive. In the small bowl they give a lot rice but oh well, I'm sure you can ask them to reduce this down and give more toppings salad if you're in the store. The salmon rolls surprised me. Delicious. They added a tiny squirt of I believe eel ponzu sauce and cucumbers which were delectable compliments to the fresh salmon. Would order again.

Ordered from this place on uber eats today and got the smallest poke bowl I've ever seen, not reflective at all of the picture they have on the menu. Would not order again.

So to be fair this place deserves a 4. It's NOT a 5. But lately they have added a scale where they weigh your food. It was kind of awkward because the girl took off 2 piece of salmon then she put one back in. I understand with inflation and everything and food for them for not raising prices. But to weigh everything to the teeth and on top of all that they made everything smaller portion. Everything. Quality is still the same and prices are still the same. But be prepared to order more

Atmosphere - No wait on a Saturday afternoon, limited indoor seating Taste - We got the small build your own bowls with imitation crab, spicy tuna and octopus. The white rice was very mushy like paste. The crab tasted old and may have gone bad. The spicy tuna was mashed up with no texture Amber smashed in the bowl (see picture). Besides the bad tasting bowls, the presentation was terrible. It was just thrown in and unappetizing! Customer service - the guy making our bowls was rushing us although we were the only people in there. Price - Overpriced!!! 3 small bowls = $52!!!

This is my favorite poke place in Westwood!!! I have tried other poke places, but Poke Me provides a much better portion size. I also feel that they have a lot of toppings and options that all taste good. I typically order a medium bowl. It is decently sized and usually makes me feel full after. My go-to is half white rice, half salad, and whatever I feel like adding on top that day. My favorite protein options are salmon, albacore, and scallop. I like how they have a lot of options that they don't charge extra for. Also, many other poke places limit the amount of sauces or mix-ins you can put in, but Poke Me doesn't. I have eaten in the restaurant a few times, but the interior makes it feel more like a takeout place. I usually just order as takeout because the restaurant is little bit far from where I live. The servers are great at their job, and I can order and leave with my food in 5 min if the restaurant is not busy. I have also had my order delivered using a Coco robot before, which was pretty fun.

The food was just average at best. I ate all of my fish for protein/getting my money's worth and couldn't even finish the rest. Rice was older or just badly textured. They were not generous with the sauce at all, I had to add my own at home. The workers were okay though. I went when it was empty so they were attentive. Also, the place itself is very beautiful and has a nice seating area. It felt imperative of me to leave this review because I was super let down. My friend and I were craving poke all week and this did not satisfy the craving at all. The food was edible but nothing to come back for. Go to Sea Salt Poke instead.

rating: 8.5/10 price: more expensive side of poke: around $16 for a small which is 2 scoops of rice ambiance: free water and clean a eats inside service: kind servers servers gave big portions of rice. crabmeat and seaweed comes with no extra charge! give quite a large portion scoops for the bowl size. sauces lacked a little flavor. we had to ask for extra sauce. loses 2 points for lack of flavor in sauce and mixing in with the protein but +0.5 for the large scoops

Poke Me is a casual poke spot right off of Westwood Blvd. It has a cute interior with tons of natural lighting with it having glass walls. It was a standard ordering experience with nice workers. Parking was easy to find right in front of the store on a weekday right before rush hour. I ordered the largest size, which was quite pricey, but I felt it wasn't a lot of food. I asked for half rice/half salad and felt the amount they give was not proportional to the rest of the food. The protein and other toppings were standard. Later that night/day after, I did feel my stomach hurting, and could only think it came from this spot. Overall, 3/10. Would opt for another spot.

    Trang H.

I ordered a large portion (3 proteins) for $20+. It's pricey for sure, but there was a lot of food and even though I didn't add any filling ingredients like rice, I was very full at the end. I like the food, except that the person who prepared my bowl put too much sauce, making it more soggy than I would like. The restaurant is basic and small, but that's expected. Basically, a decent healthy option in Westwood. I would take advantage of the happy hour options and free miso coupon on Yelp to save a few bucks.

We had the baked pork chop so food took about 20 / 25 minutes or so to come out. Tasted just like childhood! Milk tea also tasted very familiar. I was happy about these two items. The grilled chicken with black pepper sauce was just so so in comparison. Gave it 3 stars because there were flies flying around the patio. Covered trash cans might reduce this problem a bit. Price is also on the higher side. $6 milk tea was not very worth it. And they charged you some sort of fee (see pic) that I wasn't aware of, did not expect extra fee when ordered at the location and not doordash.

It was crispy on the outside and the shrimp was slightly on the firm side and slightly savory. Nasi capcay included a lot of fresh vegetables. It had more liquidy sauce than expected . The veggies soaked up the liquids quickly and began to get a little soggy. However the veggies were savory. The dish could use more greens. NOTE: this dish comes with shrimp which was NOT disclosed in the menu. We specifically ordered veggie only. One party member wanted a veggie dish but could not eat it due to shrimp allergies. Let them know to cook without shrimp if you have shrimp allergies The Nasi bunkus was delicious. Traditional Indonesian food would typically have a lot more tumeric and spicyness but this dish felt more streamlined. You can ask for more turmeric and spicyness if you prefer. Also The chicken was flavorful but a bit dry. The Riice was good, flavorful and not greasy. Perkedelle was tender but did not have as much crispyness as other perkedelle that ive had. The potato inside was not as light and fluffy as expected (compared to other perkedelle) and was instead on the slightly dense side. It was still good. The Bakwang jagung, or corn fritters, were both crispy and a bit dense and sticky. It was savory and was not greasy at all. We liked this dish. Es doger was good BUT had tough meat husks in the drink. The coconut flavor and bits were a nice addition to the drink. The casava and condensed milk had the right amount without being overpowering. If not for the husks in the drink, i would recommend it. Es cendol was heavy on the condensed milk and slightly overrpowered the pandan jelly and bits of jackfruit. It was ok. Overall this restaurant is an option for the area if you are looking Indonesian food.

Customer Service: (5/5) The waiter was very nice throughout. She was very endearing as she talked to my girlfriend in chinese and also kind to me when speaking in english. When asked about dishes and proportions, she was very knowledgeable and honest. Food: (4.5/5) We ordered the Mapo Tofu and Meizhou Special Fried Rice with chicken. The food came out within 10 minutes and the portions, as I saw on previous reviews, were generous enough for us to share and be full. The Mapo Tofu came out on a hot ceramic bowl. It wasn't as spicy as I thought, not overly spicy but just enough where you get that numbing kind of sensation in your mouth that leaves you wanting more. The beef wasn't like the ground beef you see in other mapo tofu, but more of chunkier pieces which I wasn't a big fan of as it didn't seem spread evenly. The Meizhou Special Fried Rice with chicken was probably one of the best fried rice dishes I've ever had. You can tell it was made from a wok and the flavors were just incredible. The chicken seemed to have been friend separately and added on top afterwards but the saltiness of the chicken didn't take away from the fried rice at all. Instead, it added to the flavor and made it all so enjoyable. For the ultimate experience, I'd recommend eating both together to maximize your palette!

The space feels worn -- menus tattered, décor dated, the whole interior overdue for a refresh. For a restaurant positioning itself at the higher end of Chinese dining, Meizhou Dongpo is sleeping on the finer details. No complimentary tea service, and rather than offering a pot for the table, they serve individual tea by the mug -- a comically oversized Western mug at that. Chopsticks arrive without spoons, and when you ask for one, you get silverware instead of the porcelain you'd expect at Chinese restaurant. The Peking duck accoutrements came with a little plastic spoon on the tray. Small things, but they add up.The fried rice was a letdown too and looked nothing like the menu photo.
