Super friendly and cute coffee spot. Keep in mind parking…read moreis strictly on the street the valet is not for the coffee shop. Kinda secluded but still amazing and worth the trip. I tried their Americano with thick lavender creme and it was subtle yet nice. Never had an Americano like that and I didn't hate it. I say that because I normally do take my coffee on the dark side with zero to a splash of milk. But this did look appealing so I said why not be different today lol They also had food tried the bulgolgi burrito it was okay very hearty on the meat and had two eggs on it but I felt something was missing? It wasn't bad def massive and I felt like I had enough for 3 total meals lol Ventured out here after taking Ruby out to the vet hospital and needed to kill time for pick up. Def would be back again. You could see they knew the locals as many frequent this spot as a grab and go coffee joint. Great vibes and massive outdoor patio with lots of seating for working as well! !

Honestly, the…read morelocation is a little hard to find-- there doesn't seem to be a dedicated parking lot, so street parking it is! However, there's also not a lot of street parking either. I ended up parking in the neighborhood, but it was one of those 4 parking street signs layered on top of each other, designed to confuse the heck out of you. I ended up taking a photo and running it through Gemini to make sure I was safe to park. Okay, parking aside, mu.so is located in large black office building-- they do put out a little "coffee" sign on the sidewalk. When you do see it, the actual coffee shot is small, but there's a whole backyard patio area with plenty of space for you to hang out. Anyways, I went with their iced americano with lavender cream top. I've been to a lot of coffee shops, but haven't run into a lavender cream top-- so of course I had to try. I thought it was pretty good, the cream top was a good pairing w/ the americano-- it sweetened the coffee, without making it too sweet or heavy. The lavender brought a light floral flavor to the coffee. While it's nothing life changing, I did think, it's a solid cup of coffee, it's worth a try, but probably not worth a dedicated drive over. I also picked up a blueberry muffin, because honestly, I love everything blueberry. I'd pass on it, but I'd recommend trying something else-- like the crossiants, which looked tastier. Overall, I might come by again and try one of their other drinks. While it wasn't bad, I expected a little more from a "signature' drink.

Opened in April 2024 after a 2.5-year struggle, this husband-wife-and-dog owned specialty cafe has quickly become a West Adams gem, bringing high-quality craft coffee to an underserved urban area. Housed in a charming building that was once a family home, House Coffee Co isn't just another coffee shop -- it's a labor of love creating the community space this neighborhood desperately needed. Coffee Program: They use Boxx Coffee for their drip coffee and No. 1, House Blend for their expresso beans. Pastries Program: They outsource their pastries from Cake Monkey. Location/Parking: Located on the SW corner of Jefferson and Sycamore.. Parking can be found on Sycamore and along Jefferson. Ambiance/Decor: Neat chill ambiance with interior and exterior furnishings to sit and have a snack on. You can also do some work or study. Entertainment: They have some board games to play with if you have time to play. Service: Service was great. The barista was welcoming and offered fun facts about the shop. Drink Of Choice: Had a drip coffee. They were brewing peruvian coffee beans. It was quite solid and went down the hatch quite nicely. House Coffee Co For Thought: Would like to patronize the shop again.

They have some interesting drinks on the menu, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The food was alright, nothing special or that stood out. Service was quick and they do have high-chairs if needed. It's really hard to be in a joyful mood when you are not being attended to. I did receive a glass of water at the very beginning, that was nice, after that everything was basically as if I was invisible. They brought my food out fast, I wanted to ask for sauces, more napkins & no one checked in on me. Maybe because I came during dinner time? The bartender is gold -- he was more attentive than the whole staff the entire time. I am sad to say that this truly made my food non exciting and very blah. I've been here before for breakfast and it has been great, bummed that wasn't today. As a single eater, I felt extra lonely. Sincerely, Anonymous foodie x

I'm giving it a 1 star rating because the coffee I bought for myself and wife just tasted really bad. She ordered the Buna Miel and I ordered the Vietnamese Latte. Buna Miel was overly sprinkled with cinnamon. The taste was hard to put my taste buds on. It was just awful. My Vietnamese Latte was just as bad. It had a bit of a flavor of banana I mine. I took 3 sips and couldn't force myself to drink much more of it. Completely wasted money. But the service was friendly, lol. This place is not a coffee shop I would ever comeback to nor would I recommend to anyone else in my inner circle. OH! and why did they charge me .75 for ice in my latte and $1 for ice in my wife's drink if they were the same size cups?! I felt that was a rip-off. I didn't like this place.

I came here around 10 p.m. on a Saturday with my bestie for some much-needed girl time, dessert, and late-night coffee. We like to live life in the fast lane, after all. This place is an absolute gem! The interior is bright, clean, and inviting, with plenty of seating options. There are large tables perfect for groups, outdoor café seating, and a spacious second floor that's ideal for solo dates, studying, working, or intimate conversations. Upstairs offers a great view, cozy couches, and gorgeous red velvet drapery that gives the space a warm, sophisticated vibe. The drink menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring unique Middle Eastern-inspired flavors like cardamom, pistachio, and saffron. And don't even get me started on the dessert selection! OMG. My friend and I are determined to try every single dessert they offer because everything looks incredible and is beautifully presented. They have a variety of milk cakes that remind me of Mexican tres leches, but with creative flavors like rose, pistachio, coconut, Biscoff, and more. They also offer a selection of fresh-baked pastries, including the always-reliable ham and cheese croissant. And I can't forget to mention the stunning cheesecake slices! My friend ordered the Dubai cheesecake, and I swear her eyes rolled back in pure happiness after the first bite. I went with the coconut milk cake and an Adeni latte, and it was exactly what I was craving that night. We got to talk with one of the managers and they were very friendly and welcoming. We will absolutely be back, and we'll definitely be following along for any special events they have coming up. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
