Damn this place is so good! Came back and tried the quesabirria and blown away AGAIN. Dog friendly patio - Suzy came out with water for my puppers. I want this place to pop cuz they deserve it, best Mexican food in town!

Service amazing! Homemade chips and salsa delicious! My husband and I shared the 2 sope plate and a tamale and sat on the patio. We are from SoCal and we both agree this is the best Mexican food we've ever had. Susy chatted with us like we were regulars. It's a must have if you are in the area, if you are within an hour, it's worth the trip!

Located off the 101, on San Anselmo, past In&Out, is Susy's Kitchen. In this little restaurant is a woman who is bring the seasoning and the heat, ALL THE FLAVOR! You can park on the street or in the back. There are only two tables inside, but many outside in the back parking lot. I asked her for something and she then customized a burrito for me, great service. Now, the pollo burrito, I do wish it was larger, but her seasoning is there. You can tell she knows how to layer the flavor. The homemade guacamole salsa, was the deepest flavors I've had of sauce/salsa/guacamole at a Mexican restaurant. Rice was fluffy. The pollo was seasoned and flavorful. The tortillas were good too. *Honestly, just wish it was bigger*

The birra tacos with consume was delicious must try. Authentic food I'd say it's a kitchen on wheels.

Great burritos! (One of these days I'll have to try her other items, but I'm hooked on the burritos for now.)

The enchilada was tender, flavorful and delicious. The refried beans & rice were also so very tasty & freshly cooked. Before my meal arrived I enjoyed a draft IPA and some complimentary chips. The green sauce salsa was delicious - setting me up in a good way for my lunch to follow. I mentioned to the wait staff that today was my Anniversary and she gifted my wife & I with a generous portion of their homemade Flan to go... my wife is going to be very happy! I will be back and will also recommend my family friends. (I would have posted a photo of the combination plate but it was gone the time I pulled my phone out to start my review).

We ordered a few combo plates and had more than enough food. Our favorites were the enchiladas with green sauce and the chile relleno. The complimentary chips and fresh salsa bar made the meal even better. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the restaurant was very clean with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking in the shopping center was easy and convenient. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area!

Wondering if they've stopped seasoning their meat in order to cater to the demographic here in Atascadero.... Especially the carne asada I mean apart from having so much fatty meat, it had no flavor. The service is always great too, just a little disappointing. When I'm talking about flavor, especially for $4 a taco, I expect a hint of garlic, salt, pepper, lime, etc. I expect the meat to be marinated and flavorful. Maybe they already do that, given they do sell amazing carne preparada, but the hot food just hasn't been the same for the last 3-4 times I've gone. I like supporting local mexican businesses so I continue to go but today might've been my last. I don't think I'll be driving from Slo to Suprema Meat Market for their hot food again. The cold and prepared meats are of high quality though so this review is strictly for the hot food. I understand that they need to stay competitive with the market, but the total for 5 bite sized tacos was $22.... That's insane. For $4 a taco, I just expect more. I hope they review this and implement some change! I see that the owner reached out and I appreciate his response. Maybe I'll give it a try again.
