Brought my 2019 Escape in to service 5/18/26. My vehicle was there about 2 weeks to see why periodically all the warning lights would come on and the radio would tell you take it to the nearest dealer . During this time, I was first told I needed a new battery ($240) then was told that didn't correct the issue. I was asked had it been in an accident ( NO ) we pulled the car fax and all while I came to get a loaner . No additional alterations at all ever done to my car. I was next told it could possibly be the main harness and given a price of $9000 plus labor (the car blue booked is only worth $9800 you got to kidding right) . So 2 days later after they took it apart and put it back together it was acting normal so I was told let them keep it one more day to make certain it was repaired. Drove the car for a week and a half back to square one but yet $1438 dollars later. Take the car back and of course im being told it's the main harness. Help me understand how a car that's never been in a accident, flood etc has A issue as such and yet and still the service team played the $1438 dollar guessing game with me and my money. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unfortunately I'm still paying for this car and now is not a good time to trade in but to take someones money and not fix the issue and no goodwill assistance for corporate office is truly a black eye on ford and my future endeavors with them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My pregnant wife excited to have something reliable and safe

TOTAL ENGINE FAILURE AFTER 2.5K MI I purchased a vehicle from Sutton Ford on 7/28/2025 (For Blue Advantage Certified 2018 Ford Expedition Limited, Mileage: 60,234). My wife wanted a reliable and safe Mom vehicle while we welcomed our second baby. The check engine light was on when we got the vehicle home after purchase. Combining the time where we could drive the vehicle under warranty (20+ days held in Sutton Ford's possession, mentioned a bad o2 sense and vehicle went to non-Ford shop). The vehicle hasn't even went through its first manufacture suggested oil change. On Saturday, (1/24/26) the vehicle died with total engine failure needing a total replacement. The vehicles mileage was only at 62,818 miles (literally has only been driven 2,584 miles and hadn't hit its next oil change life cycle. I would be very leery of buying any used car from Sutton Ford or any vehicle for that matter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]To make it worse the general sales manager said ownership/principal would not meet or call me to help.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He mentioned FORD MOTOR COMPANY could use their Goodwill. He gave me a 1-800 number without any guidance as their customer because he said he didn't know what to do[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I haven't experienced this low-level of care for a customer in buying anything, ever![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Please be careful where you put your hard-earned money! -Nick Ollearis

This is a clean passable cabin air filter according to Sutton Ford's "172" point inspection
    Anthony S.

Worst dealership experience ever. Claimed to do a 172 point inspection yet Auto Stop / Start feature was not working, cabin air filter was filthy (see photo), options car didn't even have claimed to be inspected and passed. Basically, they fake the paperwork on their supposed 172 point inspection of used cars. When sales manager Matt M was confronted with facts about their bogus inspection he became belligerent and unprofessional, he should be fired for allowing falsified documents to be presented to customers Avoid Sutton Ford for your next vehicle purchase, not an honest person in the sales department

I'd say that part of the service is top notch. For at least a year now, every time I schedule any particular maintenance, whether oil change. Tire rotation, etc, which I schedule 2-3 weeks in advance, I'm harassed by the salesman Erik Garcia, or the sales minions at that dealership, "that it's time to upgrade." I always explain to them, "I'm a happy customer" or "you sold me a great product." Which is very much true in regard to the actual vehicle. A little over a month ago, I scheduled a routine oil change. As expected, I was bombed with text messages or phone calls about upgrading my vehicle. Each time, I explained, not only do I live on a fixed income of disability, but I'm also in chapter 13 bankruptcy and cannot get new credit without permission from my trustee. I also explained that with two years left to pay on my vehicle, I'm very happy with it. But of course after persistence, I did consider upgrading, only after I reached out to my bankruptcy attorney for guidance. My lawyer did explain a deal could be made. I didn't reach out immediately after that to the dealership. But they did reach out eventually, as they were ultra persistent on trying to make a sale. Over the phone, I explained, what do you need from me? Because I do not want to go into the dealership to waste my time. That process is the worst, if you ever experienced that. Erik said "I have everything, we just need you to come in and pick a car." I wasn't convinced about all that, and so I told him, I'll email you anything you need, salary, bank statements, driver's license etc. He then says I'll text you my email after this phone call, send me pay stub. This was at 2pm or so, with the idea, I'd be in the dealership at 6pm. I went to the dealership, meet with Erik. I filled out references, gave him my license so he could make copies. Gave him information on how I earned a living and other pertinent information. Then, for the next 75 mins a waited at a cubicle, no updates, no responses, nothing. The one thing I never wanted and would not agree to, was to waste my time! And sure enough, it happened. I walked out unannounced and without incident. Never received a follow up from Erik or the dealership. I texted Erik, plus another phone number associated to the dealership "Alex", about what happened. Got a response a day later from "Alex", who I don't know, apologizing and that they would reach out with numbers for me to consider a deal. I've yet to have heard from any of them with numbers. Here is the text I had with them the evening I left. Not a great sales experience.
