We came to Suwanee Social to celebrate a birthday, and honestly, it's the perfect place for a celebration. The restaurant is relatively new and the decor and overall atmosphere are amazing. I've always loved tapas, but usually you have to choose between Spanish tapas, Asian tapas, Mediterranean, Latin, etc. Here, they basically brought some of the best small plates from different cuisines together in one place, which I absolutely loved. It's especially great for larger groups because everything is meant to be shared, so you get to try a little bit of everything. We tried the carne asada, which was really good, the birria ravioli had great flavor, although I do think the pasta could have been cooked a little longer. The octopus was one of my favorites, and the patatas bravas were delicious too. They also have a huge cocktail selection, and we tried a few drinks and some beers, which came out super cold. The service was amazing and surprisingly fast, especially considering we were a larger party. They had live music, which I believe they do on weekends, and the atmosphere was so much fun. You can even get up and dance if you feel like it! They also have a cute outdoor area called Bloom Bar. Overall, I would 100% recommend Suwanee Social. It's perfect for birthdays and larger parties, but I could also see it being a great spot for a date night. If you love ordering different things and sharing food with the table, this place is definitely worth checking out if you're in the Suwanee area.

I came here on a Sunday night with some friends for Galentine's, and my first impression was WOW!! The space is sooo cute they did an amazing job with the decor. It's definitely a perfect little spot for date night or a girls' night out. They have a pretty solid selection of food. Just keep in mind that most of the items are tapas-style, and they only offer two larger entrée options. The menu is literally a world tour American, Spanish, Mediterranean, Asian... like passport stamped without leaving the table, which I loved so many different things to try! Now let's talk about the foooood. Surprisingly, everything we ordered was soooo good! We got the octopus, mussels, otoro tacos, spicy tuna rice, satay skewers, arepas, birria ravioli, ceviche, and the tomahawk steak. Out of everything, I was honestly most surprised by the birria ravioli. I wasn't expecting that to be the standout dish, but it definitely was a hit! This was my first time here, and I'll definitely be back. Next time I want to check out their brunch menu too!

Suwanee Social was on my places to try and I finally was able to visit for my friends birthday dinner this past weekend. Let me tell you the ambiance is absolutely amazing for this restaurant. We had a party of 8 so we were waited to be seated until everyone showed up. The server was very nice and attentive. He was great. The food was excellent. It's like a tapas restaurant with small dishes but also has 2 main items if you'd like to order that. I ordered a smoked old fashioned with Woodford reserve, carne asada & chimichurri roja medium rare, hot honey garlic cheese curds, and gyoza potstickers. All the food was very tasty and amazing. I can't wait to to back with some of my other friends. It was a pretty cool restaurant with very modern vibes. I will definitely be back.

What a beautiful location. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to get pictures of the Inside. But let me tell you it really beautiful. The service was helpful and very knowledgeable of the menu. We didn't order anything, sirius, just wanted to grab a couple drinks so can't say much about the food. But from what we had, it was delicious. So if you're ever in the area, please check out Suwanee Social

Yummy food and wide selection of tapas. Inside is beautifully decorated! Our server was really sweet and helpful. I came with my mom around 7:30 on a Saturday night and had no wait. We will be back.

I wasn't expecting the aguachiles to be as good as they were. Although it is a small plate, i feel like the shrimp was so small, it's half of it but i really like them even tho it comes with plantain chips rather than the typical tostada. The pork belly arepa was DELICIOUS, i don't prefer pork but wow, i was very impressed. Also had the blueberry cosmo, was very sweet but was honestly gooooood. I gotta come back for sure

I enjoyed an easter Sunday brunch date with the girls at this gem. This is a tapas restaurant serving delicious small plates and drinks! The venue is beautiful and has a nice ambiance. Our server was okay, nothing special but showed up when we needed something. I had sliders and gyoza potstickers. I found the sliders to be really delicious and the drinks were really good!

Very cool concept -- I love that they had both the Bloom Room and Suwanee Social open. The atmosphere was inviting, and the manager even gave us a tour, which was a really nice touch. We decided to try the snapper on the menu. Having eaten snapper for many years, especially growing up in the Caribbean where it's a staple, I was excited to taste their version. Unfortunately, the fish was undercooked. While the seasoning and flavors on the outside were delicious, by the time we got closer to the bone, the texture turned muddy instead of flaky. When the chef came out to inspect the dish, he used his phone's flashlight and mentioned that he'd been cooking fish for 30 years and never had an undercooked one. I respectfully pointed out that, from experience, snapper should be flaky throughout, not mushy in the center. I didn't appreciate the dismissive tone -- I believe good customer service includes listening to feedback, even if you disagree. To their credit, they did remove half the cost of the fish (which was $70) from the bill, and I appreciated that gesture. I have no problem paying for great food -- I just expect the experience to match the price. Overall, I still love the concept and the space, and I will return to support Suwanee establishments. I just hope that in the future, management and staff take customer feedback with a bit more openness rather than defensiveness.

This is a relatively new restaurant in Suwanee that is Suwanee Social in the evenings, offering tapas and drinks. And in the mornings, it is Bloom Room Social, offering breakfast and brunch options. I went for breakfast. Reservations: We placed a reservation, which you may not need for a weekday. I foresee this place getting very popular on weekends so I would recommend making a reservation for weekend brunch or weekday/weekend dinner. Parking: There is ample free parking in the lot. Food: I ordered the Hipster Toast and it was so filling! The toast is massive and there is a good amount of avocado on there. The arugula salad was a nice refreshing bite as well. I would order it again! Drinks: I only drank water, but my friends ordered the pineapple mimosa and a Bloody Mary and seemed to enjoy their drinks. Vibe: Overall, I enjoyed my time here and the service was great! Our waitress was Valeria and she shared her top recommendations, which I ended up going with one of them. The space itself is stunning, with cute photo ops everywhere. And they even have a flower bar where you can make your own bouquet. I forgot to ask how much, but it's such a cute concept and brightens up the room. The dock of stars were for the plethora of flies that seemed to somehow get into the space. It really took away from the experience and I hope they're able to figure out how to remove them.

Our server Sophia was swamped and she did her best to make sure we had what we requested. She was so nice. This was our first time and the atmosphere was beautiful very busy for Father's Day brunch. Our food was delicious. We will come back for dinner for sure

Their menu has food, drink, and hookah options. They had nothing on the menu except for Suya; so, we didn't have food. The drinks were pretty good and reasonably priced, given that they were served in plastic cups. The hookah was pretty good and lasted awhile. The sign would advise they open at 5, but doors wouldn't open until nearly an hour later. They would frequently do grocery runs to Walmart then charge you the same amount for items such as wings that were clearly different and finally arrived right before they close the lounge. So you literally had to box them, then pay your bill to close..... With that said, The recent visit I made last week was MUCH better. Decor of this locale is real loungy and sleek. Nice ambiance for a Gwinnett experience...The staff is very pleasant, and the Siracha wings are amazing!!! Presentation was so simple but nice... My friend got another chicken dish, that kinda looked like a Cordon Bleu, and that was quite tasty as well. Drinks are fair, (tiny portions with ice), and the music is good. Mix of African/Reggae/HipHop. In all, I recommend this place if the consistency stays like this....but I had to be honest about my previous experiences.

I would like to say I planned the perfect date, but as some of the best things in life, this was just an impromptu visit to cap off an already great evening. Outside of being on the rooftop, the bar itself is upscale yet approachable, service was fast and friendly. Being a bit of a self engrandized home bartender I'm a bit critical when out of my home lab, but their Smoked Old Fashioned wasn't bad. ("Wasn't bad" really means very good.") While I don't love the prices and hate paying a cover charge, when you throw in live music, a great vibe, and a view, I can't really complain. The owner made an announcement that whoever tipped the band $10 would get a free drink, and since most drinks were over $15 I thought that was cool on many levels. Will definitely be back to The Rooftop!

Unfortunately, that excitement disappeared pretty quickly. We waited approximately 10 minutes without being acknowledged. A woman standing behind us who had arrived after we did was approached by the bartender and had her order taken first. I'm not going to speculate about the reason, but sitting there and watching it happen certainly didn't make us feel welcome. At that point I decided not to order anything because I already had doubts about staying. My wife ordered a glass of white wine that was supposed to be a 6 oz pour. When it arrived, we both questioned the amount. I even noticed other glasses of wine at a nearby table that appeared to have considerably larger pours. I've included a photo so people can judge for themselves. We weren't looking for special treatment because it was our anniversary. We simply expected the same basic level of acknowledgement and service as everyone else. It's unfortunate because we came in genuinely excited to try a local place and celebrate together. The atmosphere has potential, but our first impression of the service made us feel like we'd be better off spending our anniversary somewhere else.

The prices were so outrageously high I started wondering if I was accidentally buying shares in the restaurant instead of ordering a steak. Then, before I could even process the emotional damage, I noticed they had already slapped an automatic tip on the receipt. Bold move. Usually people wait until after they've earned it. I would give a better tip at Texas Roadhouse, a real American Dining. The steak arrived looking like it had lost a fight with the shrink ray from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. I've seen bigger samples at Costco. It was somehow both tiny and salty as shit, which is an impressive achievement in all the wrong ways. The mac and cheese tasted like someone whispered the words "cheddar" and "seasoning" into the kitchen and called it a day. I've had more flavorful ice cubes. At one point I looked down at my plate and genuinely wondered if this was the kids' menu portion by mistake. As we departed this fine establishment, I felt as though the restaurant had not merely emptied my wallet, but reached into my very soul and repossessed my financial future. My pocket had a hole in it by the time I left, my stomach was disappointed, and my dad deserved an apology letter from the chef. If Shakespeare himself had dined here, Hamlet would've been five acts of him debating whether "to eat, or not to eat." Save your money, grill a steak at home, and season your mac and cheese with literally anything. It'll taste better, cost less, and you won't need a small business loan just to celebrate Father's Day.
