We have been to Susan's many times and the food is always good. There are two waiters a women who is excellent and a man who is one of the worst waiters I have ever seen. Today 8/29/21 was the worst. We waited about 5 min to get seated not bad for Sunday.we knew what we wanted so we left the menus at the edge of the table, we waited at least 10 min for coffee, then another 15 to order. During this time he also had two other tables waiting for their orders to be taken. This is our favorite little diner in town! We stop on the regular and always enjoy the food. From the Scooby doo kids menu that have been colored by local children and hung on the walls to the small cozy dinners no area. Service is always wonderful if a little slow on busy days but the food is always fantastic. It's a nice place for a quick bite or a leisurely breakfast or lunch with family and friends. read more

Wish I could give this place a good review. We chose this restaurant based upon its menu and other reviews. Upon entering there is a sign to seat yourself. Four tables were open but all were dirty. Two servers came out of the kitchen but never looked up to acknowledge we were waiting for a table to be cleaned. We stood around and waited until we decided to try a different local breakfast house. Neither server said a word to us. They walked right by us and attended their other tables. I don't like feeling invisible. read more

For the area, hands down, best homemade meals, huge portions and awesome prices, but... Rude, cheap people: please STAY AWAY! I like (LOVE) this place but I am tired of rude people eating here next to me. This morning an older couple went over the prices for everything before ordering and then spent their time loudly reading passages from a newsletter, each one taking a turn. When they got bored of that they watched some video of a marching band(!) on their iphone turned up so loud I'm sure everyone in our wing could hear it - along with their running commentary. After they got the clue that wasn't cool (about 6 minutes of marching band music) they resumed reading to each other. When the meal arrived the nice lady said that she "couldn't taste the shrimp" but that there was "certainly a lot of shrimp in there." When the server picked up their plates at the end of service she complained the sausage was too greasy. (after we listened to he complain about it for several minutes) So the server comped her dish. When we left they were discussing how much to tip. We left a 25% tip because I'm sure they left less than 10. Oh, BTW: our breakfast + coffee came to $24 for two of us - after tax. If you think that is expensive then please stay away. It is a steal and we took half of it home for later. oh yeah, they serve TULLY's coffee. Have eaten breakfast and lunch there several times and find it a place we would go back to. All the dishes are good size for us and arrive quickly after ordering. Overall not bad diner food at all. Would not go there for date night but breakfast or lunch it is not a bad option. read more

We are from out of town and was looking for a place to have some lunch when we drove past this hole in the wall diner, deciding to stop in and check it out. We sat ourselves and was almost immediately greeted by a server and offered drinks. Shortly thereafter, our order was taken. 3 of us ordered burgers from the menu, 1 being a kid burger. The server asked us the kind of cheese we wanted only to learn we didn't really have a choice, there was only cheddar-jack that was the option. Usually when I order a 'cheese burger' from any menu, I assume the cheese is included in the advertised price of the 'cheese burger' titled ad, but this is was not the case at this establishment. Upon receiving our checks, we noticed we were charged with several 'extras' without being informed upon ordering. First, we were charged an extra $1.29 for cheese on the adult 'cheeseburger' I ordered, also charged an additional .69 for cheese on the kids' burger. There was no 'disclaimer' or warning written anywhere for us to be informs of the additional charges, nor did the sever bother to mention this to us when we ordered. In addition to the cheese charge, we were also charged an additional $1.49 for a plate we didn't even ask for. We ordered a kids chicken strips/fries to be shared between 2 toddlers and was brought an extra plate. When we received our bill, it was broken down to show the additional charges. I completely understand the need to charge extra for these things, but it's not fair to your guests when they're presented with charges on something they didn't ask for. You were very misleading and as a result, we felt giving a tip would be misleading in 'rewarding' you for withholding info from your guests. Should you have been forthcoming to us initially with the need to charge us extra for cheese and for a plate we didn't ask for, I'm sure you would have received a much nicer chunk from us. Those extra charges were your tip. Perhaps in the future you will be a little more forthcoming with your guests to avoid bad reviews. Your food and service was great, it's just the misleading charges that really surprises us. Seeing the cooks pregnant girlfriend smoking a cigarette as we walked out was the best part of our dining experience or maybe it was the trailer park next to the place. Either way, we won't be coming back to this ghetto town. The 3 stars are for the service and food, which wasn't bad. Server could have been a little nicer to the kids when they asked him to hang up their Scooby-do drawing along with the others. read more

AWESOME! I have never had anything but a great meal here. They make a crab and avocado omelette that is out of this world. The portions are huge so I always get 2 meals from one lunch (or breakfast). Yes, the place is a little scary and a dive, but the food is great, the service good and everything is home made. From my experience, anything they can do to make you happy they will. All their pies are home made too - but who can eat pie after that huge meal?? read more

We eat here frequently and have never had a compliant. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is great & serving sizes LARGE! One of my favorites is the eggs benedict, others in my group favor the chicken fried steak bowl and the sasquatch omelet. Definitely lots of choices! read more

The bacon pancakes were great, but that is about the only thing that appealed to me about this establishment. Prices are overrated (12.99 for a burger) and though the owner is usually the person working, i didn't need to hear her complaining about a previous customer to another customer. read more

Suzan's serves large portions for a great price you definitely get what you pay for. Your coffee cup will never go empty and the service is genuine and accepting of every guest. Oh and did I mention that there are over 30 breakfast items to choose from, awesome! read more

Pretty family friendly place. Lots of pictures that kids have colored on the walls. Smells good here. Food was excellent and portions were larger than expected. We had heard this place was expensive, but it is quite reasonable about the same as Denny's on cost, but the food was 10x better in my opinion. We will definitely come back read more

Went for breakfast this morning. I was prepared for high prices based on a previous review. The prices did seem a little high for WA but looked normal for us, from the SF bay area. The menu is extensive and took a while to check out all the items. My wife ordered an omelet and I had biscuits and gravy with three eggs and bacon. The omelet was the biggest I've ever seen. My meal was also gigantic.ash browns are fresh grated. (I think) In spite of being delicious we both needed a doggie bag. Unusual for me! The service was very good and my coffee cup never got below half full. Traveling through the country we love to find little jewels like this. Good food not much parking but since its kind of a small place I guess to some it doesnt matter but it seems some of the locals do drug deals or something behind the place which is why half the parking gets taken up. I only go there if I am with someone else due to that. As for their food, YUM! Service is always good too! Prices are a little more than Id like but given that we dont go out much thats ok once and a while. read more

Good service but food didn't live up to the reviews. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast with sausage and wheat toast. Requested over medium eggs, but the whites were completely runny and inedible. Sausage links were okay, but the hash browns are not. They told me they were made with chunks of baked potato and they were crispy but not a substitute for a good hash brown. The toast had either butter or margarine on it but it was not melted in and was unpleasant. In their defense, I am a very picky eater, but raw eggs are not okay. I didn't send them back because that causes other issues. I won't be back. read more

Stopped for breakfast yesterday. The food was okay but the guy serving needs an attitude adjustment. I hate waiting around to have my credit card processed at the end of a meal so I normally place it on the table before I am done to indicate I would like a check. This guy was so slow I still ended up waiting after my wife and I had finished our meal. I enjoyed the egg scramble with ham and cheese and it was good and hot. The toast...just kinda warm. We came from out of state to visit family and someone recommended the chicken fried steak omelette. Oh wow was it amazing! We got that and the B&G combo and split it all. The omelette was perfect. The crispyness of the steak breading was great. The peppers had just the right amount of crunch yet thoroughly cooked. They gave us apply butter for the toast (is that a Washington thing, California needs to adopt that). The biscuits looked to be made as a whole sheet which in my opinion was genius. I'm not a fan of the hard edges most biscuits get so they were great to me, maybe not for everyone though. The gravy was definitely home made. Perfect thickness. Kids loved to color scooby doo drawings. My only complaint was my kids wouldn't be quiet long enough for me to enjoy it peacefully read more
