Absolutely love this place! friendly personable environment! right when you walk through the door your immediately greeted and it's self seated. if you ask them about vegan options they'll gladly direct you. they're (ask to be made vegan) Tofu vegetable yakisoba is amazing. to my understanding this is a family owned restaurant and it's very small and seems to be growing like crazy. i've dined in before when the daughter was sick and the mom was doing the job of 2 or 3 people and it was 45 mins to closing and almost every table was full with people walking in and she had to refuse people because it was beginning to be too much and people got upset and please just have compassion for people. read more

First the positives: our server was extremely friendly and efficient. When we ran low on some of the little side dishes she offered to replace them and did so very quickly. Our entrees were served fairly quickly as well. Now, they also serve American dishes like Meatloaf, BBQ Chicken and Country Fried Steak, etc., but we were there to order the Korean BBQ dishes. The not-so-positive: judging from some of the rave reviews I was expecting heaps of Korean BBQ flavors only to be disappointed. I ordered the Kalbi Beef Short Ribs and my son ordered the Bulgogi Beef. Both entrees were served sizzling and plentiful on hot plates. The problem was there was almost no seasoning in either dish. Most of the flavor came from the grill the meats were cooked on. I feel I've made more flavorful Kalbi Beef Short Ribs at home on my charcoal grill cooking from a recipe. Both dishes, for what they were, were way overpriced: $18 for the beef short ribs and about $16-17 (can't specifically recall) for the Bulgogi Beef. If the flavor had lived up to those prices I'd be coming back. But because my son and I were both disappointed there will be no return visit. read more

Tried this for the 1st time and it definitely won't be my last. From the moment I set foot inside, I was greeted and welcomed like I'm an old friend. It's a bit pricey won't lie, but way way worth it. There is a lot to choose from the menu and the portions are huge! Before your meal comes out they bring out a large selection of sides. Positives: -Very good and kind customer service. -Clean, very clean. -The inside of the building is very well maintained. -The food was, OK. -They care about to go orders being hot. (A guy came in late to pick up the food and they were apologizing for the food getting cold) Negatives: (I wish I didn't have to, they were so nice) -I know I have their food in the positive, but it was more so in between. I ordered the Spicy BBQ Chicken, the sauce was good and smokey, but the chicken itself had almost no flavor. I think they need to poke holes in it and marinate the chicken for a couple hours before cooking. -The location is not nice at all. It's in a dumpy part of town, right around the corner are bars, tattoo places, and a porn shop. -They don't have bathrooms. Super cute little restaurant, I tried their spicy wings (which weren't that spicy) but still delicious regardless. Sweet with a hint of spice. My husband got some sort of chicken bowl (can't really remember) but he also enjoyed his meal and he is such a picky eater. Really want to go back soon to try more of their menu options. Suzy's is a little local place at the end of a small plaza (maybe 2 other businesses). Very casual atmosphere, very delicious food heon soup is beyond delicious food. And outstanding customer service! Suzy, recognizing we were new customers, brought us a sampler of several different Korean dishes to share. Everything had incredible flavor and increased our eagerness to try more dishes. I ordered udon soup and it was actually bubbling when Suzy brought it to the table. It was perfectly spicy-like clear your head but leave your taste buds intact spicy. Would recommend for a hangover. That and a fountain Coke? Nectar of the Gods! So I was really eager to try suzy's kitchen due to the reviews here.... my husband and I went to bremerton this weekend to try it. The service was hands down great! I ordered the dol sot bibimbap.... which should be served in a stone bowl. This bibimbap was served in a ceramic bowl which didn't hold heat so I wasn't really able to burn the rice on the bottom, which I really like. The pajun was really good as was the mandu... although the mandu was a bit oily from being fried. My husband ordered the kalbi and it was very very good. Overall I would give suzy's 3.5 stars but I can't do half stars here so its a 4. read more

First and foremost, this review is based off the quality of the food and the service I received from placing my order on the phone for takeout. I did not dine in but will return when I'm in the area again. Very, very friendly lady who took my order and rung me up! I appreciate the enthusiasm as well. I ordered pork gyozas and the beef stew (requested spicy) but I felt that the kimchi that came with as a side was spicier haha. I ate all the banchan (side dishes); I usually don't eat all the side dishes at other Korean restaurants. It was the perfect balance of spicy, sweet and tangy. The spinach takes the cake because I love garlic, vinegar and red chili peppers! It reminds me of Thai Beef Salad. Anyways, I know this Korean cuisine but had to use that dish as a comparison to paint a picture. read more

Cute little Korean restaurant. I was surprised to see a good Korean Restaurant in Bremerton! Who would've guessed! They make really good Pan Chan, I especially like their dry squid side dish for a start, very yummy. All of their other side dishes are homemade and fresh. Our server was really really nice. We ordered the Bip Bim Bop and Spicy Seafood Tofu Soup, they are both really good. Just very good Korean restaurant like those you can find on the Seattle side. I was introduced to good Korean food when I was in Busan many years ago. Over the years, I've found some places that lived up to what I remembered, and many that did not. This one did. The spicy pork bulgogi was satisfyingly spicy, (it may be ordered milder, but I like my food to bite back) the various pickled vegetables were outstanding, the Korean iced coffee was excellent, and the friendly, family atmosphere made me feel like a guest at a Korean family dinner. At the end of the meal, surveying the empty plates in front of me, I mentioned that I wasn't sure that I really liked it, so I would have to come back again, probably many times, just to be sure. And I will. Oh, and if you have friends or family that are not into culinary adventures, they even have American style dishes on the menu, so you can go together and everyone will be happy. read more

So to tell you the absolute truth about this place. At first glance driving by I didn't give this place the credit it deserves. From all appearances it looks like it has seen better days. However after eating there my opinions have very much improved. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a super nice lady that plays hostess/server/everything. We were told that it would be at least a 45 minute wait, is that ok? We said yes ma'am no problem. We were then promptly seated. She then explained the wait to order was 45 minutes. (Which made way more sense at that point). I actually preferred waiting at the table then say at the door of the restaurant. We waited our allotted time frame and ordered. We ordered 2 appetizers of sticky wings (which are very very yummy) a bulgogi salad, spicy pork bulgogi, and the Kalbi. It took another 25-30 minutes to get our food but it was delicious! We paid the tab which wasn't bad for the amount of food we ordered. I'm wondering if take out/call ahead would be faster, but I'll find out another day. read more

Drove up from San Francisco to see my Navy son. Great service with a smile. Delicious sour kimchi (the way it's supposed to be). Flavorful little panchan dishes. I had the mandu soup with homemade dumplings, delicious. The bulkogi was tasty, and so was the pork bibimpap that we ordered.
