For starters I apologize for the long post in advance. I had been engagement ring shopping for over a year before actually proposing back in May. I had visited SVS for their Pandora collection over 5 years ago and was helped by Liz. We continued to come here for any Pandora purchases because it was close to home and the service was always very friendly and warm. While shopping for engagement rings 5 years later I went through some horrible experiences. Not only because most jewelry places are far from LGBT friendly but also because I am young and I guess people assume I can't afford a $13,000 engagement ring. I was specifically looking for Verragio rings and very few jewelers have this brand. I decided to come back to SVS and Liz was there and actually remembered me from 5 years ago! I was beyond ecstatic! I appreciated her help so much and she made the process soooooo easy and seamless. Later on, I started dealing with Sami who was in charge of mounting the diamond I wanted for the ring I chose. Sami not only went above and beyond to help me but he also got the ring made from SCRATCH in the size I needed it in LESS than 2 weeks. I couldn't have been more happy and excited in my entire life. They made sure this was the most perfect day for me considering I was proposing on our anniversary ! I will forever be grateful for this place and this moment ! I've been coming to this place since it was located across from the CVS shopping center. The staff is very nice and the selection is huge, they do free Pandora cleaning and their SVS jewelry cleaner works great! However, on a recent trip - I saw a pearl necklace I LOVED. It was a tad pricey, so the women advised me to use their kiosk to see about finance approval. I waited inline to use it (about 30minutes) which I'm assuming was due to the couple ahead of me having the same issue - after I input my information three times the machine came back with an error. The sales woman called the owner to tell him & he advised her to enter the information. Error again. Turns out when I pulled my credit report I got hit with several hard inquiries on my account! Plus a call from Wells Fargo(?) stating I was approved and to confirm - three weeks later. I never got the necklace and my credit had all the inquiries. This is at no fault to the business as its machine error, but was still pretty annoyed over the reports and call from Wells Fargo Overall the selection & environment is wonderful, but I won't be shopping there for quite some time...... read more

I walked in to purchase a diamond pinky ring. 3 young boys walked in after me. The young girls ran over to help them purchase a pandora charm and totally ignored me. I waited patiently for assistance. Cell phones were being used and still I waited. Finally one of the young ladies came to help me and when I explained what I was looking for she replied "oh we don't have anything like that, sorry. And she walked away. I was literally shocked. We bought our engagement ring here. My fiancé and I decided that we would pick the setting out together and I would be in charge of the diamond. We worked with Mara who was incredibly helpful and patient. She showed us many different ring options over the course of a couple hours. We liked that Mara was not pushy and really just wanted us to be happy. About a week after choosing the setting I went back to Mara to pick out the diamond. She showed me about 10 diamonds within my price range and was very patient with me. In the end I was between two diamonds and she actually convinced me to go with the slightly cheaper diamond because she thought it was more brilliant. Our custom ring (size 3 1/2) was ready to be picked up after about two weeks. We will definitely be coming back here to choose the wedding bands and would recommend SVS to anyone in our situation. read more

5 stars across the board!!! My fiancé and I went to look at rings there a year before we actually got engaged and when we did, I didn't love the setting I picked. I felt super uncomfortable admitting to it when I went back in to insure the ring. I ended up telling them and they made me feel so comfortable as if it happened all the time, which made me feel so much more at ease. I had a family event that I really wanted to show my new ring at and they made it happen! I have gone to SVS several times over the past few years. I have gotten a variety of different pieces from there. I recently went to get my engagement ring reset. The ring was my Fiances grandmothers who had it changed when she was older into a cocktail ring type. I mostly spoke to Sami and Gina, who were both amazing. They helped me stay true to the original ring style and made an AMAZING custom ring for me. The price was reasonable and the communication was fantastic. I got picture mock ups of what it would look like and was invited to see the mold to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I came here a year ago because I lost about 70 lbs and I needed to get my rings resized and fitted. Every one was so pleasant and helpful. I chatted with the clerk who was so impressed with my weight loss, we talked about our lives. She even introduced me to another worker who had just lost a lot of weight too. I had my ring sized, ring guards put on, cleaned and appraised. I think they charged me $30. I felt super comfortable there and remembered they had my information on file so today I decided to go back. My ring guard snapped, and I have lost even more weight, so they were in need of adjustment, as they just fell off my finger. I called ahead to make sure they could accommodate me, and they told me to come in, no problem. I got there, and was helped right away, They put new ring guards on and cleaned the rings, and they didn't even charge me a dime! My husband was shocked! Super nice people, I highly recommend SVS. I will be back when I have to get the proper sizing once I am at my goal weight. read more

A few months ago I had my engagement ring re-set by SVS. The owner sat with me for over an hour and we designed a beautiful setting with the help of his computer program that lets you see what your ring will look like before it is finished. The final product is gorgeous!! The staff was very friendly, and the pricing was reasonable. The owner is very knowledgable and up to date on the latest jewelry trends. I only wish my husband and I had gone there for our engagement rings and wedding bands from the start. I have a watch with a case back that is attached with tiny allen key screws and it needed a new battery. Initially, I had brought the watch to two jewelers who are in my home town but neither had the tools needed to do the job. The second jeweler referred me to SVS. SVS didn't have the tools needed on the premises, but they offered to bring them into the shop and replace the battery if I was willing to wait, since it couldn't be done that day on the spot. Everyone I spoke to at SVS was very nice and professional and I was extremely impressed with them. The tools needed to open this watch case are obviously not common, and the fact that SVS was willing to get them, bring them in and do the battery replacement when two other jewelers were not speaks volumes about SVS's willingness and ability to take care of their customers no matter how big or in this case small the job is. Let me just say... Sami and his team really came through for me in a crunch. I decided to buy my engagement ring from SVS Fine Jewelry after many of my colleagues at work raved about the service, professionalism, and most important price. Sami worked with me personally and wasn't concerned with the price as much as making me aware of what the differences in cut and clarity mean. When spending a few weeks salary on a diamond, I certainly appreciated the education! There was no pressure and Sami and I went through several design choices. We ended up selecting a lose diamond and Sami built my custom band. Sami gave me a time frame for the process and one of his staff called me to confirm that the ring was ready for pick-up. WOW I could not have been happier. It was magnificent and even nicer than what I had expected. I took it home and it was truly "burning a hole in my pocket!" The only problem was my soon to be mother-in-law then tells me that my fiancés finger is actually a size smaller than what I had thought! I was in a total panic!!! I called Sami and he actually came back, to meet me at the store, and take care of the ring! Needless to say, Sami had a customer for life! Most importantly she said YES! I have since bought several pieces of jewelry from SVS Fine Jewelry and it's always the same outstanding service. I must say that my experience with SVS has been wonderful. My mom recently passed away and tucked in a drawer were some interesting old antique pieces of jewelry from my grandmother. Sami was both knowledgeable and kind as was his gemologist Gina. They both took the time to look at each piece and tell me what was worth keeping and what was repairable and what wasn't and why. I had two of my grandmothers wedding bands sized and they were quite intricate. Their repair work was perfection. I also had a large gaudy ring that I thought was going to be fake. Turns out Sami realized it was something of value and suggested I have it authenticated. He even tried to sell it for me on a trip to a jewelry convention. I felt completely comfortable with him holding the ring and felt like he would be a good advocate for me. He was honest and told me there were no reasonable offers as of yet but to hold on to it as it might change in the near future. I was always greeted with a smile, treated with respect, and I can honestly recommend them with a clear conscious.
