Scheduling the appointment was easy and the visit went great with the doctor, however, I ordered contacts during my visit and I was not notified my contacts had arrived and I had to contact them. When I contacted them about it they sounded like they had no idea who I was or what I was talking about. I came into the office to grab more samples since my contacts were running out and when I came into the office it still seemed like they didn't know what I was talking about even though I had call them the day before and they were the one who told me to come in to ask for more samples. When I asked again where my order was they told me it was picked up weeks prior, but I know it wasn't because I never even got a call or text that the order was ready. They did reorder my contacts for me and the reorder did come in on time, but overall it took me over a month to get my contacts. read more

Do waste your time, go somewhere with a lab that is located locally. After you wait a week for your appointment you then have to wait another week for a out of state lab to make and ship your glasses. Then if there is problems with them ( like mine) you have to wait yet another week for your glasses. So if you need glasses and don't want to wait 7 days minimum and the max could be who knows how long ( I'm at 3 weeks and still no glasses) go somewhere else!!!! I'll be going back to eyeglass world in the future where they make my glasses same day in 3 hours!! read more

I have been going to SVS for at least 5 years now. True story, my dog (puppy) ate/chewed my glasses. I just called to get my script to just order a pair of cheap glasses. I found out that there was a warranty and I was able to get the same glasses for 70% off. The girl on the phone just ordered them and I had them in 5 days. I was very thankful. read more

I needed an eye exam and eyewear asap, so I came to SVS Vision to schedule. The receptionist was able to give me an appointment that same day due to a previous cancellation. I picked out my frames while waiting for the exam and the exam came shortly after. Dr. Kayner was thorough as she examined my eyes and I was done in less than 1 hour. My eyewear came in a week and I'm able to see better than ever. Thanks to Dr. Kayner and all the SVS Vision staff for their diligent efforts and professionalism. read more

I am absolutely appalled on how this location operates. Understanding the new "rules" of Covid. That was not the problem. They waited until my day of the appointment to cancel me because they were short staffed. This woman named Marianne was the rudest person there. She was rude to me when I verbalized how unhappy I was because of all of shifting I had to do to be there. She did not care. I pushed back another week. This was my first time there and I recommend people not go because the customer service was horrendous because of her. She made me feel she didn't need my business. And because of that, I am rating this place a 1. That one, was for the receptionist that I dealt with in the passed. NEVER, NEVER again will I ever go there. She bluntly told me she didn't care if I was not happy as a customer. Corporations like these need to retrain their staff on better customer because after all we are paying for these services. read more

SVS of SCS always delivers quality service. My most recent experience was only to order contacts for which I did over the phone. The SVS employee who assisted me was very professional and efficient and the whole process was very easy. I was notified by text and the office also called shortly after to ensure I was aware when my contacts were ready for pickup. Highly recommend. read more

Been dealing with this company for 6 months now. Initially write a review raving about the customer service how they replaced my broken glasses. Well they ordered in a new pair of frames and put my existing lenses in the new frames, when that happened they scratch the crap out of my existing lenses AND the brand new frames ordered. They look worse than before. When I call customer service they said I need to send in my glasses because they have to have a lab test to see how they were damaged, CHECK YOUR SECURITY FOOTAGE! So being I only have one pair of glasses cuz I can not even afford contacts and the only advice they told me was to buy a second pair of glasses or get contacts while they send my glasses to the lab. WHY WOULD I SPEND MORE MONEY FOR YOUR COMPANY'S ERROR? THATS ABSURD! I REFUSE TO SPEND MORE MONEY WHEN I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR INITIAL MERCHANDISE! Not to mention the doctor AT THE SOUTHFIELD LOCATION gave me two pairs of contacts "as curtesy" and customer service told me it's illegal to give someone contacts without an exam and fitting them for contacts. SO YOUR DOCTORS BROKE THE LAW AND GAVE ME 2 SETS PF CONTACTS WHEN THEY DID NOT GIVE ME AN EXAM OR FIT MY EYES FOR CONTACTS? YOURE SUPPOSE TO CARE ABOUT THE HEALTH OF MY EYES AND MY VISION, NOT TRYING TO MAKE MONEY OFF ME! That's sick, my vision is very important to me and to put my vision in jeopardy by not fitting me for contacts and just giving me 2 pairs (I wore those FOR MONTHS cuz I figured I'd take advantage of a free pair) and who knows how that's damaged my eyes, I can barely afford glasses in the first place because my vision is so bad. So thank you for nothing. Still have to go in on Friday and be told they need to take my only way to see so they can "figure out" what is wrong with them. Terrible experience! Went in to order more daily contacts and asked them to look at horribly scratched glasses (got at SVS in Feb) and rims of lenses sticking out of the frame. Contacts ordered, but told nothing could be done for the glasess- they just don't fit the frames because they are children's frames and never should have been ordered at all). Said i should have ordered the extra good protective coating, instead of just paying for the regular protective coating. These glasses are scratched more than any pair I've worn in 30+ years, but SVS doesnt seem bothered! A week later i go to pick up the contacts and they ordered the wrong ones st the wrong price! They have to re-order and I'd have to pay more when I pick them up. Before I left a snarky comment was made that 'next time I should make sure that I tell them I wear daily lenses so the same mistake won't be made'. Apparently SVS believes their mistake is my fault. So I wait and wait and wait for contacts to come in. Now out of contacts, wearing my scratched glasses or re-wearing daily contacts. Two weeks after I re-order (3 weeks from when I first ordered) and the Saturday before xmas, I call to beg for some samples to wear over the holidays. They tell me my contacts are in and have been sitting there since Monday! Six days they have been in and not one phone call! They blamed their new automated system for not notifying me.
