My new go to. I started this review about three years ago. I think it's about time that I finished it. The options in the buffet are not as many as in other Indian buffets, but the quality here carries the day. That is why I keep coming back. Since I left my form my favorite I've eaten Mint at least 20 times. I didn't check in or write a review because I was too busy eating. The Naan bread is perfect, the lamb or goat curry is off the charts, the tandoori chicken has flavor. Each of the dishes is very well made and authentic. They have the robot server, deliver drinks here and there. Mostly it's a live body and the service is excellent.. I can see why the rating is so high and why it's so popular. We shared a ghee masala dosa and Andhra lamb curry; both were delicious! The flavors were complex and perfectly seasoned. We loved the chutneys that came with the dosa. The soup was also flavorful. We did also order a roti but discovered that was not needed because our curry came with rice. The prices are reasonable; it's a great casual spot. Also, they have separate vegetarian and meat menus, so make sure you check which one you're looking at. Server was also friendly. read more

One of the worst dining experiences we've had in Vegas We decided to try Mint near Flamingo Road, and honestly, we left wondering how a place can get so many dishes wrong in a single meal. We ordered a huge spread--Paneer Chilli, Paneer Peshwari, Paneer Tikka Masala, Malai Kofta, five garlic butter naans, two tandoori rotis, Kadai Mutton, Tandoori Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Kabab--and almost everything was a disappointment. Paneer Chilli: This was the first red flag. It was super tangy--so sour it overpowered every other flavor. Instead of a balanced Indo‑Chinese dish, it tasted like someone dumped vinegar straight into the pan. Paneer Peshwari: Easily one of the worst dishes of the night. The curry didn't even look like a curry--it looked like oil and water had completely separated, floating in layers. It was unappetizing before we even tasted it, and somehow tasted even worse. Paneer Tikka Masala: This one was shocking. The paneer tasted stale, like it had been sitting around far too long, and the sauce was basically a thin, bland tomato soup pretending to be tikka masala. No richness, no spice, no depth. Malai Kofta: Mushy, oddly sour, and completely off in texture. It didn't resemble the creamy, flavorful dish it's supposed to be. Breads: The garlic butter naan was limp and greasy, and the tandoori rotis were so dry they felt like they'd been forgotten in the oven. Nothing tasted fresh. Kadai Mutton: All heat, no flavor. It felt like someone added chili powder and called it a day. The meat didn't taste seasoned or cooked with care. Tandoori Chicken & Chicken Tikka Kabab: Both were overcooked, dry, and surprisingly flavorless. Tandoori dishes are supposed to be the highlight of any Indian restaurant, but these were just sad. For the price and the reputation this place claims to have, the entire meal felt like a complete letdown. Nothing tasted balanced, nothing tasted fresh, and nothing made us want to return. Based on our experience, this was easily one of the worst meals we've had in Vegas. We brought our guests here and paid freaking $500 for worst food. Zero customer service even after providing feedback. We had Mint previously many times and this was utterly worst experience ever. I went here for lunch. Since it was only me, I decided to stick with the lunch buffet. They had a decent selection of food choices. A mix of north and South Indian food and they have separate sections for vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. I also had their mango lassi, it tasted pretty great. They give fresh naans with the choice of butter or garlic naans. They have a large menu that you can order from as well. The service was very fast. They also have a server bot that they use time to time so it was cool to see that. The environment is laid back, they don't rush you or anything so you can take your time enjoying the food. I had craving for Indian street food and ordered Pani Puri and Dahi Sev Puri. Disappointed with both choices. Puri, I expected from their own kitchen instead seemed like bought fro somewhere and was too oversized. Pani was not done right. I do think there are lot of other items that looked good. I am not eating the restaurant as two stars just food that I ordered was disappointing after spending $40 for taxi to eat $20 worth of food. read more

I will say if you asked them to change anything about a dish they will not accommodate. I asked for cheese naan with garlic and they refused. But I asked for garlic naan and the garlic was just on top. The fact that they couldn't put garlic on top of the cheese naan confused me. ALLOST EVERYTHING IS SPICY. Except for the Chicken malai. I was not a fan of some of the dishes that were a little salty, but generally, the food was very good. It was just limited on the type of food that they had. I went here to celebrate a birthday in Vegas. They were able to accomodate a large party by putting multiple tables together. The location is quite spacious and has a variety of different types of seating. This is your standard indian buffet. I would say the winners were the tikki masala (chicken was really tender and flavorful), paneer and the mutton curry. I liked the side dishes and fresh veggies at the buffet too. I was only able to make two trips through the buffet due to the fact that I stuffed myself with a bunch of carbs (naan, basmati rice and gulab jamun). I also had a mango lassi. read more

This was asking distance from hotel and good number of people eating the night before which is always a good sign. For lunch, they do buffet and have a pretty good selection. For my first plate, had pakora, paneer masala, saag, mutton curry, tandoori chicken and chili chicken. All the dishes were amazingly tasty with no complaints at all except when I can go back again for another round. The garlic naan that came with was baked very well... especially like the crispy areas. The mango like pudding with fruits and gulab jaman was a great way to end the meal. The place is nicely decorated and staff was friendly. There are plenty of tables. Noticed that a number of uncleared tables as well. They have an Inferno challenge for those who are interested with wall of pictures who completed them. Highly recommended. Its always great to write reviews when the place you visited before was good then and is good even now. Mint is my only goto place for Indian Food and there are so many reasons for it. Advice everyone to spice level "3". You can do "4" if little sweating by your nose is ok and ur eating with Naan Bread. We had: 1. Methi Malai Paneer (Spice Level 4) It was awesome and spicy at the same so next day when we went we move to Spice Level 3. 2. We had Malai Kofta. Just awesome! 3. Garlic Naans were served by a Mint Robot who comes and stands beside u. 4. Mango Lassi was also very good 5. Portions can be little more but quality was out of the world. 6. We asked for Onion Chilli and Lemon and they were kind to give us and not charged. 7. Plain Yoghurt however is charged. 8. They charged us gratuity for 5 people which we felt little odd about. It should be choice of the customer. Gratuity was charged 18% and Sales Tax was 8.375% so roughly we were charged ~26.375% additional to food cost. This is something to be aware of. 9. We had absolute great time and next day we also had chai which was great. Best Indian Place to eat in Vegas. ps: They have paintings inside which me being an art lover from Bombay,India admire because it jogs back the memory lane of paintings by Mario De Miranda in India. Last night I took my family for dinner. Between all of us was one vegetarian. I ordered my food with one one star for the . A friend ordered his with a three. Both of our dishes tasted the same on the spice level. I have been eating Indian food most of my life, so I didn't send mine back. Gave the leftovers to my SIL. About 20 minutes after arriving home I became sick and spend the night sick, I'm not better this morning. I called my daughter and told her to get rid of those leftovers. None of us were impressed with the service. They added my order of naan to my daughter's order. And when I asked about they told me they had delivered, without telling her that those were two orders together! My other SIL meal was so greasy he could not eat it at all. While in Las Vegas, having a craving for some good Indian food, we found Mint Indian Bistro online and decided to give it a shot. It was a group of three of us that went on a Sunday night at about 7 PM. We were surprised to find the restaurant so empty. We ordered an assortment of dishes to be shared (see attached photos). Unfortunately I misplaced my notes and the receipt so I am unable to tell you what each dish was, but everything we ordered came presented nicely and each dish was delicious. An added attraction of this place is the robotic server who delivered some of our plates - very cute - and the first time I had seen that. The human service was a bit slow and should have been more attentive for a relatively empty restaurant, but other than that, we were pleased with our food and our experience there. If you find yourself in Las Vegas and have a hankering for good Indian food at reasonable prices away from the maddening crowds, by all means give Mint Indian Bistro a try. I had mango chicken tikka masala and hubby had mutton bone-in vindaloo. My chicken was excellent, with just the right amount of spice (4). We stopped by for the lunch buffet a few minutes after they opened. No bueno. The food was barely warm the only things that were hot was the rice and the Mutton Curry. I was waiting to get seated at a table with my family, and I heard multiple customers come up front to complain that there were roaches running around. Yelp Review 2023 #147: It's been several years since I first reviewed this place. Mint is probably one of the most popular Indian restaurants in town. I've been to many Indian restaurants over the years, some have closed but Mint is still standing strong. I've tried Indian food in different cities and different countries: Auckland, Singapore, London (they have the best Indian food), and Dubai. But I've never had Indian food in India and it probably will never happen as I don't see myself traveling solo to India (as adviced by Indians I've met through the many years I've been traveling). Pani Puri: I have this new-found love for pani puri from having tried it in my travels. It's a popular street food which is a crispy hollow ball filled with potatoes, chickpeas and you pour or dip it with this watery tangy spicy sweet green sauce and it is absolutely wonderful! You can order extra puri and filling. I recommend getting extra puri. This is what will make me keep coming back to Mint more often. 5/5 Mango Lassi: I love mango lassi even though it doesn't agree with my stomach. But since when did they serve their Lassi in plastic cups??? $5 for a small cup! It's good though but I'm going to have to just start making my own lassi at home. 4/5 Mahakali Mango Masala: Mango chunks cooked in an onion & fennel-seed base. You can choose to add veggies, paneer cheese, lamb or chicken. It's the sweeter version of the tikka masala. It sounds weird because of the mango but it's actually not bad especially if you have somebody that absolutely doesn't like spicy food. 4/5 Tikka Masala: I always get chicken tikka masala as my go-to. My very first taste of Indian food was in the Midwest many years ago and I got Tandoori Chicken which was dryer than Vegas in the summer and I've sworn off Indian food since then and it took me years to be brave enough to try again thanks to chicken tikka masala. Good chunks of tender chicken and a rich tomato and yogurt sauce with spices. 4.5/5 Garlic Naan: The perfect accompaniment to any saucy dish. You can scoop up any dish with it and sop up all the sauce. It's delicious even on its own. 5/5 Masala Dosa: Not all dosas are created the same. Some our crisper depending on the kind you get - which non-desi people seem not to understand. Masala dosa is a thin lightly crispy rolled crepe with potatoes, chili, etc. it comes with chutneys and dipping sauces. I ended up eating a huge chunk of pepper and there was not enough mango lassi to wash it down. If you want a more crispy dosa - get the plain paper dosa. 4.5/5 They don't ask you how spicy you want the food. Everything is on the safe side but if you want lots of heat, just let them know. The service is good. They do have a robot waiter now to bring your drinks, to-go containers, and flat items that won't easily topple over. No robot can replace the nice ladies that work here. Holy moly, it must have been the worst idea to get a level 7 spicy curry after a day of not eating and expect to have it sit well in my stomach. Mint - you were delicious, but you were not kidding about the spice! My friends and I had dinner here and were surprised at how spicy (and delicious) everything turned out being. I had their Vegan Korma with Roti, and normally can really handle my spice. This time around though, that individual serving of curry took a lot of effort for me to finish. But it was still really good. Fun service fact: they make use of a robot to deliver some of your food and drinks. The future really is now, people. Service here otherwise was quick, parking was plentiful, and the options were expansive. Found this place by chance and will definitely be returning. As soon as we came through the door we were seated for lunch. At 1230 on a Tuesday, there were a decent amount of people there though not crowded. We were asked which type of naan we wanted and were told to get start when ready. I had no idea it was a buffet! A pleasant surprise honestly. I tasted so many amazing foods without the pressure of having to fully understand what it is. Everything was hot and full of flavor. As far as Indian buffets go, this is an awesome place. The service is always friendly and prompt. They have these cool little robots that bring naan to your table as well. I love their aloo gobi, veggie korma, etc. The goat deserves it's own special shoutout because it's so tender and I usually don't eat the goat curry at Indian buffets but here it's really delicious. And the naan! So good and fresh. They have garlic butter naan and it's just so yummy I'm excited thinking about it. Beautiful space, clean, leaves you a whole carafe of water. Thank you because I'm thirsty. But. The only thing is: the food is too spicy. I get that Indian food is spicy but this is a buffet catering to all people, mostly Americans at that, who may not be able to handle the spice level. The veggie tikka masala was delicious, just like the meat version. Had vegetables like cauliflower and string beans. Also got the chana saag and korma which were delicious as well. The spice to all the dishes were just right. They also had pakora, but for sitting out long they weren't as crispy. Food always kept hot and refilled when needed. They do rotate some dishes but main dishes such as tikka masala and tandoori chicken are always served. Idli is always served and they were very soft and delicious when paired with the spicy sambar. Went to the Mint Indian buffet recently, and my family + I were looking forward to trying their food while visiting Vegas. I liked that the buffet had unique vegetarian dishes that I haven't seen at other Indian buffets such as potato/green beans sabzi, yellow lentils, or idli + sambar. However, some items were a hit or miss. Furthermore, the food didn't taste very fresh. Decent food, very Russian in its philosophy, that there is a quality in quantity. Most of the buffet items one would never order ala carte, but the spread is big, so even if one or two items are good, you can have your fill. Overall a solid 3/5.
