I always enjoy supporting indie pop ups, especially when the focus are baked goods. I finally had the opportunity to check out Sweet Nothings and More. I had preordered and paid for four items for pickup at Distant Worlds, an indie cafe located in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood (3/6/22). I had a brief wait though as my tiramisu was still arriving from Ballard. Pleasant individual at the pop up table was willing to exchange with another pastry or refund the original purchase. Notable customer service! Big plusses for their availability and ample par numbers at their various pop up locations, Ballard Farmers Market on Sundays, and delivery option. They also have a user friendly online ordering system with amazing product photography. You can see their weekly selection via their website and/or Instagram. Just note the designated cutoff time for prepaid orders on Thursdays. The Homie selected the Chocolate Vanilla Eclair and the Twice Baked Hot Chocolate Croissant. I picked the Tiramisu and two Chocolate Chip Cookies with Sea Salt. Baked items are huge and definitely a big bang for your buck. Inventive riffs on classic items. I'm sure following suit like other successful pop ups, Sweet Nothings and More will eventually have their own brick and mortar location.

I've ordered a care pastry box last year for delivery and was very pleased. I usually wait till there are at least three items that sounds like me in the weeks features. Though really any you get will not disappoint. Such creative flavors and the laminated pastries are very generous in size I usually get it on the weekend to share with my dad. Yesterday was the first time I did a pick up pre order and it went smoothly. I knew I was going yo be in my dad's on the weekend so I did the pick up at The Rose Gift House and Coffee Shop. On too of that I got to give Rise Gift House a try for coffee. The menu was in preparation for pi day so I ordered the Passionfruit Meringue, Twice Baked Banana Cream Pie and Shepherds's Pie. I'm a savory person the shepherd's pie was definitely tasty. The fruit ones were outstanding as well as I knew they would be. Quality ingredients and wonderful lamination on her pastries. Need to not wait so long to re order again.

If you are looking for creative flavors and out of the ordinary pastries, then this is the place for you. I have heard of this pop up for a while but the owner was on maternity leave so she didn't start baking again until now. This place has definitely gotten more popular because unlike other yelp reviews, there was definitely a long line and the wait can be a while. Luckily, I preorder so I didn't have to wait that long. The owner was nice enough for me to grab one extra croissant since that wasn't on the pre-order list. Thai tea croissant - definitely the favorite among my husband and sister. The cream tasted like Thai tea and there was a generous amount in the croissant. Twice baked blueberry cheesecake croissant - this is my favorite amongst the group as I love the extra crunch of the twice baked process and it literally tasted like a cheesecake but not heavy. Matcha mango croissant - this looks the prettiest but the flavor wasn't as strong which is surprising because both mango and matcha have pretty strong flavors. French onion soup danish - this has potential but it could be better in my opinion. It reminds you more of a cold version of a french onion soup, maybe bring it home and warm it up and it might taste more like it??? Either way, it was still good. Overall, definitely a good place to grab crazy flavors and try. They are a little pricy in my opinion but definitely worth it for special occasions. Can't wait to see what other flavors they have next

This is a more recent pop-up offering pastries that are amazing! What I like most is the creative flavors that change every week -- it keeps me coming back, that's for sure! Some of my favorites have been the passionfruit croissant w/ matcha glaze - if you see that one, get it! I also liked the twice baked blueberry cheesecake croissant. They also have savory pastries too as well as others that are not croissants. There are way too many delicious things I've had to name them all... note that the prices may seem higher than normal but the pastries are a pretty decent size! The best way to find out where they will be/what items they will have is to follow their instagram account. You can also preorder in most instances, which is a great way to ensure that they don't sell out of what you want! But, I sometimes just like to see what everything looks like before choosing what I want. Whatever you get, you can't go wrong :)

Amazing pastries for when you need to take a break from donuts and try something else extraordinary! Unlike many of the other pastry pop ups, there has never been a massive line, and you can walk up and pick up your preorder straightaway. They have multiple locations around Seattle that make it an easy in and out. Last week we had the churro croissants, which were perfect. This weekend we ordered the Earl Grey and Black Currant cake slice, the Raspberry and Rose shortbread, along with the breakfast style croissant. I never knew hash-browns in a croissant with thick cut bacon, and melted cheese were something I would need more of in my life! We ordered too few items the past few weekends, being...sensible, but we might have double up next weekend to have something throughout the week!

Hands down one of my favorite pastries in Seattle! The twice baked croissants are AMAZING and a must get! Be sure to check out their website for where and when their next pop-up is and definitely pre-order if you can online.

Huge croissants! Boston cream pie and cheddar/turkey, plus a chorizo scone

There's a menu posted while you wait in line to help you make up your mind. We decided to try the summer special, BBQ Pork Piroshky and we also got a sweet kind, Cardamom & Cinnamon Piroshky. Both were real good, seemed to be freshly made that day. Flavorful and satisfied our snack attack craving. Staff was friendly when we approached the counter, quick to take and pack up your order. I think it was about $7 per piroshky. We were satisfied and glad to have come by and have a Seattle staple at PPM. I plan to come back more often when in the area, it's pretty darn good!

The croissant was on the crispier side, especially with the almond crumble on top it was a bit too cripsy for me, but I tend to like soft and flakey pastries so it's probably a matter of taste. There was a TON of almond filling in the middle. I enjoyed the taste and texture but it was too much filling for me personally. I would have liked more croissant in my croissant, so to say haha. The chocolate was slightly dark which worked well with the sweet pastry and filling! Overall I enjoyed the croissant but it was a tad too heavy on the filling and cripsy/crunchy for me.

They have so many yummy options, but I settled on a mushroom and Gruyère pastry and an earl grey blueberry cruffin. The mushroom and Gruyère pastry was SO good!!! We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. It was filled with a blueberry cream and was definitely very filling. There's a lot of sugar coating it, as is standard with cruffins, but it's a nice sweet treat. Definitely coming back for the mushroom and Gruyère pastry and to try their other delicious flavors. Their supreme croissant flavor switches often and we can't wait to try the next one! I'll definitely be back to try the mushroom croissant again or maybe explore some of their other pastries next time.

Staff: 5/5 (nice) Sanitation: 5/5 (clean) Soft serve w/syrups (5/5) I've had most of the syrups that they offer with their vanilla soft serve. The soft serve itself is a really creamy and rich vanilla milk flavor. I would say it's closer to that Asian milk flavor if you know what I mean. I think the hojicha syrup is my favorite out of all the ones I've tried so far. It has a really nice roasty flavor and not something you can find at most other places. The matcha I would say is my second favorite. The flavor of the matcha syrup is definitely lighter compared to the hojicha but still is a nice compliment to the soft serve. The black sesame would be the lowest on my list out of the, all since I felt like the flavor was too nutty like it was a blend of sesame and potentially a nut. Overall I would definitely go back for the hojicha but if you're not into that there's definitely solid options for other flavors.

Great sandwich, and I am so glad that they did lunch items early in the AM. The cherries were such a unique addition to the sandwich but worked well, and they were also representative of the local area (Rainier Cherries). I wish that there was flaky salt on the bread. Overall, I'd say their pastries were generally good not great and were significantly sogged up by 12:30 PM when I grabbed em. Their patisserie is stronger than the pastries IMO and while I wouldn't wait in a crazy line, it's still lovely neighborhood spot and perhaps the pastries are a better texture earlier in the day. Highlights: - Miso Roasted White Chocolate Cronut: My favorite item in their current rotation. The cronut was a tad soggy, but the buttery texture inside is still satisfying and the miso white chocolate filling is lusciously smooth and perfectly balanced between savory and sweet. - Blackberry Corn Mousse Cake: Blueberry mousse is the perfect fluffy texture and the corn is very subtle. The sponge cake is light and perfectly contrasts against the bottom layer of crunchies to add a bit of variety. - Blueberry Corn Croissant: Pastry also held up quite well on this one with the outside still being quite crisp. The inner cream unlike the mousse cake is very corn forward with a bit of blueberry jam to balance it out. Skip: - Black Forest Cake: Found the cake to be a bit too firm with the cream filling to be a little bland and too firm as well. Just wanted this to be better than it was. Also, it looks totally different from the photo on their website heads up. - Tomato Basil Croissant: Just found this to be off ratio wise. The only tomato is the 3 small quarters of cherry tomato at the top and a light smear of basil cream. I can see this being very good, but current form factor isn't doing it any favors.
