Though I had to wait for someone to attend me, I ordered a Mocha blend ($5) It tasted really good! Note: You need to pay extra for whipped cream.

After doing a bit of Christmas shopping my boyfriend and I were craving something sweet and decided to try this place for the first time. I am a boba aficionado so I decided to go for their strawberry milk tea with boba and my boyfriend went towards the strawberry smoothie route. Both drinks were ordered medium sized. My drink was merely ok. The taste of the strawberry milk tea was very watered down. I don't know if it was because they went a little overboard with the ice or if that's just what it tastes like here. It simply lacked in flavor. The boba was good in taste and texture I think that's what prevented me from throwing my drink in the trash can. My boyfriend enjoyed his smoothie. He said it was made with just the right amount of sweetness and blended to a perfect texture. It seems like the quality of the drinks vary here. I'll give them another shot next time I'm at this mall.

The sweetest shop owner. The boba was one of the best I've had. The price was good too.

You order inside and the servers will bring your order to your table. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. Love that this place is dog friendly as well. Rami was super helpful and friendly, going over some of the popular dessert and drink options. Since I came in the evening, a few of the desserts were already gone. The earlier you come, the more dessert options you'll have. They also have all day breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu which I did not try, but everything looked super tasty. I got a few desserts and a matcha strawberry foam latte (they use ceremonial grade matcha) and the biscoff latte. Loved that both weren't overly sweet and the biscoff latte had a rich coffee taste. My favorite dessert by far was the banana mousse. By the time we left, the line was out the door. Even though it was packed, the servers are super friendly and take the time to make sure you're enjoying yourself. Definitely a must try place if you're in Downey. No need to go to LA to try those over hyped dessert places. One Twelve Cafe does it just as good, if not better and they have many more tasty options to choose from.

I was in the area and I've never had a cute coffee with the latte art (so many of my friends are going to roast me for this) When I pulled up -nice private parking -a staff member was outside painting on the windows with the cutest window art. The girl had talent! This place has also given back. They helped with the LA fires last year. So bonus points for places who give back. (They gave back to the Pasadena humane society) There was a pretty big line and it was pretty loud in here, but it went by very fast. My friend grabbed a table while I placed the order. -they do have a good amount of seating. The place is pretty small though. So we sat for a minute after our drinks came out and then decided to take it to go -they have latte art that changes every month. So I like they have some rotating options. It was my turn and I ordered two sugar free mocha iced coffees. One with regular foam, And mine had strawberry foam. When I told Matthew at the counter it was really important the one drink be as sugar free as possible due to my friend being diabetic, he warned us there was sugar in the foam, but he would go as light as possible. So I appreciate him warning us and taking it serious. I picked the new hello kitty art of the month (hello kitty in a bathing suit with waves and dolphins) And my friend picked from the new monthly latte art as well, and got the Kirby character Even though it was busy, it took probably 2 minutes for our drinks to be made Matthew was absolutely great. His energy, he had a smile on his face, was knowledgeable about the menu, Matthew was everything you'd want in a staff member. Just like any coffee place, you pay and give them a name for your order, and then they call your name and you pick up your coffee at the counter. These drinks hit the spot!!! It was very trendy. They had Sabrina carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo specials and they even had a Lana Del Rey latte (cinnamon girl, named after her song) only thing that bummed me out They had a case with delicious pastries. But since I came here later in the day, they only had a couple stragglers left behind -they open at 7 am, for everyone needing their morning coffee -vegan options -free WiFi -woman owned -LGBTQ owned -they give back to the community

I recently visited Guatemala so it was fun to chat with the waiter who noticed my shirt (I was coincidentally wearing a shirt I bought in Guatemala with a picture of Tikal lol). Anywaaaay - I tried the trio tostadas, a tamal and a Mayan iced latte. The tostadas were great. They were very fresh. They're very simple. One is black bean, one is avacado and one is chicken salad. My favorite was the chicken salad. I used their green salsa and it was delicious. The tamales was good. Today I learned I don't really like the flavor of banana leaf that gets absorbed into the tamal. Also, it was primarily made of rice. It had a piece of bell pepper, a little chicken and I think a plum. Aside from the banana leaf I liked the tamale. The latte was delicious. Nice coffee flavor and sweetened perfectly. Definite recommend and I will for sure be back.

I am taking a certificate course for my job and needed a place get some homework done. It was bustling today, which I was surprised for Sunday. The young ladies attending me today were very welcoming and nice. I ordered the Iced Strawberry Latte with Almond Milk. I love this drink neither too coffee tasting nor too sweet just right. They do have a few outlets for you to plug in your laptops or devices. The wifi does not have a password it's a general wifi. I generally like one with a password-my preference . I loved all the 90s-2000s music they were playing too!! Whether you're looking just to grab a quick coffee and pastry, to gather with friends or get some work done Coffee Code offers something for everyone. They have featured drinks for summer.

I ordered an iced caramel latte, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The espresso was rich and flavorful, while the caramel added just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the drink. I also loved that they use coffee ice cubes, it kept the latte from getting watered down, and honestly, I thought it tasted even better as it sat. The staff was friendly, and our drinks came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. The only downside was the atmosphere. It's a very small shop with seating for maybe 20 people inside, plus 4 small two-person tables outside (without any shade). When we visited, almost everyone else was working on laptops, so it didn't feel like the best place to sit and chat. The music was also fairly loud and mostly K-pop, which didn't really match the coffee shops aesthetic and made conversation a little more difficult. Parking was probably my biggest complaint. There are only four dedicated parking spots, and the surrounding residential street parking was completely packed. I ended up parking in the chicken restaurant's lot across the street. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee, it was genuinely one of the better iced caramel lattes I've had. If you're looking to grab a quality drink to go, I'd highly recommend it. Just be prepared for limited seating and a challenging parking situation.

The last time I reviewed it was because I had a particularly bad experience with an employee, and this update to my last review is because of the same issue with a different employee by the name of Anna-Yi (?) I swear the baristas behind the counter here are some of the nicest workers I've encountered, so I'm confused as to why it's always someone in management who breaks that streak? I'm not even that delicate to where every unpleasant interaction deserves a review, I just actually can't believe these things until I write them down. I was waiting for my drink (small iced latte, exxtra ice in a large cup) when I heard my name called and a barista was waiting for me to tell me that I had to pay for the extra milk to fill the large cup. I explained that I wanted no extra milk and that I expected a cup full of ice, to which she argued with me in every possible direction, even insinuating that she was going to have to "re-train" the barista who rang me up. I asked her if she would feel satisfied with me paying for the "extra" milk as long as the cup isn't filled to the top and she just goes "Oh if you don't want extra milk then you don't have to pay for it." and from there I just agreed with everything she said. I was too dizzy to stand my own ground at that point. Completely unnecessary. Prime example of someone riding a power trip.
