If I could give Sweet Cravings 10 stars I would! After a long hot hike in Arches we decided to stop in. The staff was super friendly. We got two of the Capone Subs (Rich's way) and we also grabbed two slices of the orange loaf to eat during our next hike. The subs were delicious- they definitely hit the spot. And the slices of bread were so delicious and moist. I also suggest trying the potato chip cookies! In addition to their daily breakfast menu, they also explained to us that they offer grab and go breakfast, which I think is perfect for everyone in Moab who is looking to grab something quick before they head out to explorer. read more

Neat down home bakery making all sorts of baked goods onsite. Be sure to check and ask what's fresh. Recently bought a blueberry scone that was excellent, and a couple of days later one that was not fresh (very dry, seemed day old). Baked goods are not excessively sweet (a good thing). We stopped here to pick up coffee, breakfast, and lunch for later and were greeted by the kindest woman. She explained their extensive menu and noted that the cold sandwiches lasted best for our day of hiking. Since I've become pescatarian, I opted to do a DIY sandwich with wheat bread, salmon, pesto sauce, spinach, lettuce, and carrots. Not bad! Definitely last well throughout the day in my backpack. Each sandwich and wrap comes with coleslaw or a bag of chips. Their almond milk mocha was really delicious too. The lady who made it and brought it out to me accidentally gave me a size larger, which I was happy to accept. She was just as friendly as the first lady we were welcomed by. We ordered online the night before for an 8:30 am pickup en route to Arches. Everything was ready when we arrived the next morning. We just stuck our sandwiches in our small travel cooler and they were great for a picnic lunch in the park. First off with all of the great reviews it was a no brainer trying this place. However, it was a major disappointment. We ordered 4 sandwiches to go and when it was too late we realized they were all wrong. Most were flavorless and put together with low quality ingredients. The biggest issue was a chicken wrap that was 99% spinach. The last point I have without rambling on is the price. $60 plus for 4 sandwiches they can't even get right is nuts. Stopped here for breakfast before heading to canyonlands. I ordered a blueberry scone and it was dry and essentially tasteless. Couldn't taste the blueberries at all and tasted like dense, dry bread. We live in Moab and have been visiting Sweet Cravings for years. The employees are super friendly, always greeting guests with a smile. The iced tea is the best in town, even better than Starbucks. The food is high quality and delicious. My favorite is the Capone sandwich, always Rich's way. Breakfast is also excellent with the burritos or nachos being my favorite. The restaurant is open and bright, with plenty of places to sit and lots of fun, unique merchandise for sale. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

I got the strawberry chicken wrap, which was punctuated by sweet pecans and creamy goat cheese. My partner got a classic Caesar wrap, which was exactly what you would want from one of those. Every meals comes with a choice of side and an exciting little sweet treat. We both got bacon potato salad which was truly bacony. I was in Moab recently, and found this wonderful little bakery and bistro using the app. The quality food offerings in Moab are few and far between. Either very pricey (and sub par), or lots and lots of fast food. This place was certainly the exception. I had the turkey BLT served on freshly baked bread. Everything on it was so fresh and of the highest quality. This was served with loaded bacon potato salad. So delicious. They also threw in a freshly baked cookie as well. Albeit a little meat heavy, their menu boasts an impressive 40+ sandwich options. But there's not much else, so you better like sandwiches! I was a bit bummed that they wouldn't do any of their paninis on gluten free bread, but citing the busy time and cross-contamination at least showed they know their stuff when it comes to allergies. Untoasted, their gluten free bread is a little dry and pretty crumbly, but it still made for the best sandwich I've had in years. All sandwiches come with a side of chips and a dessert, and overall, it was not a bad value for the price. The line was long, but it moved quickly. And I loved their no-nonsense attitude with COVID; coming from a big city, it was so appreciated! Grabbed a good lunch here while staying in Moab. They do both cold sandwiches and panini's here. You can build your own, or go with the big selection of items printed up on the wall. The do offer gluten free if you need that and in our case, the lined the press with foil to prevent cross contamination. The sandwich comes with a bag of chips, pickle and a small dessert cup. I was desperately tired of camping food and really just wanted something hot with vegetables. Sweet cravings brought that to life with the veggie scramble on gluten Free bread. My man purchased the breakfast nachos. Both were good, but the eggs desperately wanted salt and pepper. Really what sold both of us on the restaurant was the amazing service. The woman (whose name I didn't write down, sorry awesome lady!) Was super knowledgeable about gluten free options and how the kitchen was able to accommodate an allergy. She was so nice and engaging. We finished our food and bought sandwiches to go. I chose the Kokopelli, which they turned into a cold sandwich on toasted GF bread to avoid it being soggy later. My guy ordered some sort of bagel sandwich that he destroyed after our hike. We ordered the coleslaw and potato salad as sides, while the sides were tiny, they were delicious and really unnecessary after the big sandwich. I was so full. On top of that, they gave us cookies! Mine was a GF coconut macaroon that I ate as slowly as possible to savor the flavor and texture. Yuuuuuum! So gluten free folks, there are good options for you. GF bread costs an additional $2.25 per meal! Which is by far the most I've ever paid for that, but I'm still so grateful for the good food and great service, that it's whatever.
