Now self service which expedites service and opens up the space exponentially. There is a Turkish man who works there who is LOVELY and I enjoy our interactions- he's warm welcoming and helpful! I had a lemon poppyseed muffin this time and OMG lemony goodness with not too much sugar and poppin poppyseeds !! Want to try them again while they have them- YUM

I'm trying to find all the great gluten free places in the DMV area and this one is pretty awesome! The staff was friendly and patient as we asked a ton of questions. The place is cute but very small- not a lot of places to sit and eat. Seemed to be mostly take out orders. We tried so many items. Landing on a few favorites. The biscuit sandwich... this is the best GF biscuit I have found yet. Still a little dry for my liking but again GF biscuits are way harder to find that taste good! The almond raspberry cake was YUM! And the donut holes were perfect! They had GF flours you could purchase as well! A most visit if you are in town and GF!

Ordered an apple cider donut, banana bread, vanilla cupcake and cinnamon bun via uber eats. I almost ordered the donut holes but at $3+ a pop, opted not to, especially since I can get those from Trader Joe's and from Katz for a fraction of the cost. Not sure what they are in store but they are probably inflated in the online ordering app too. Turns out my banana bread was pumpkin bread. They also sent me a red velvet cupcake instead of vanilla, so I was a little sad about that, until I had a bite of the apple cider donut. All I can say is WOW. I've had my fair share of GF donuts and this one was by far the best. So much flavor, so much granulated sugar, so moist. I wish I ordered more. The rest of it was pretty up there too, wrong order and all.

A gluten free pal's HIDDEN GEM! Got a sandwich here (which I always appreciate, I find them to be more rare than bakeries these days), but also of course - multiple pastries. All were 5/5+ stars - sooo delicious. I also came around the holidays, and best believe I got their sugar cookies - sooo freaking good. I remember wishing I had purchased more. Can't wait to return!

A must try from gluten free peps in the DMV! I've bought their baked goods mixes from shop made DC, but the food is even better when they make it lol. I tried the pumpkin cupcake, apple cider donut, and the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. Everything was delicious and moist, which is something that's difficult to do with gluten free food. Also they have a patio outside you can sit and eat at! When the mosquitoes aren't out, it's lovely.

Staff is probably some of the best people ever, they are so friendly, smile a lot and have good humor. This is the second time we've come here, I forgot to review the first and not sure what we ordered... but this second time... everything was disappointing. Donuts have a healthy taste, almond flour? Outside glaze was good but would not get again. I think the cinnamon bun was inedible, we did heat it up, my kid liked it though. I for sure got the Gruyère sandwich before, and ordered it again for kids. They wouldn't even eat it. And we love gruyere in our house! I finished it, and it really wasn't as good as I remember. My friend, who was not gf, said her sandwich was inedible. Bread just tasted too eggy. She got a blt I believe. Not sure we will come back after this. And I hate saying that, we love to support gf bakeries! Maybe we just ordered the wrong items! I do feel like ppl swear by these donuts but we have had much better gf donuts in the DMV area.

Fabulous little spot for not only gluten avoidant people, but also, vegan, dairy, and nut avoidant people. Sweet staff, chill vibes, and ample outdoor seating.

Excellent, excellent entirely gluten free bakery in DC! I tried quite a few things while I was there but my favorites were probably the apple cider donuts, pumpkin cake, and apple pie. They have a wide variety of bread, rolls, etc. and pastries/pies too. The staff was friendly and had good recommendations. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

Great option for gluten free baked goods in the district but they are really pricey for the amount.

The restaurant space is very open and light. On most days there's plenty of seating to choose from. My favorite item on the menu is the soul food platter which is available at an amazing price point. Everything is delicious, and I'm very particular about how my collard greens are prepared. I've also had some of their desserts, including the cheesecake which was amazing and a sample smoothie that was provided by the owner while I waited for my meal. I highly recommend a visit to Sweet Tooth Cafe & Cakes. These folks understand great customer service, appreciate their customers, and take out time to get to know you. Parking can be a little tricky, so I'd prepare ahead of time prior to visiting.

So glad they still had an impressively wide selection at the end of the festival as many venders ran out. The Dark Chocolate Covered Mint Oreo was delicious and my pick over the Dark Chocolate Covered Oreo, which didn't taste that different from a normal Oreo. We went for a late Thursday breakfast (~9:30) and were able to find some seating but they were at 90%+ capacity. We crammed our group of four into a spot normally meant for 2-3 people. Seating is at a premium as there are people using the restaurant as a place to work out of because they serve coffee. It's a bit of an odd dynamic since people need to sit to eat and sometimes tables are occupied by laptops instead of dining patrons. The food: Lamb Meatball Shakshuka - I had the regular Shakshuka the first time visiting, since I wanted to try the original. Stewed tomatoes with eggs served with toast. I think the lamb is a nice upgrade since the meat cuts the acidity of the tomato, and there is just a lot of tomato. Strawberry & Raspberry Cheesecake Cup - this delivers exactly what I would want for a cheesecake in a cup. Cheesecake is in the middle of for texture between fluffy and very dense cheesecake. Sesame Latte - an interesting drink fusion - coffee with black sesame. I think this is fairly well balanced with it tasting a little like black sesame and a little like coffee. Pistachio and Ham & Cheese Croissants - we asked these to be heated prior to eating. I thought they were slightly crusty on the outside, inside was soft without much structure (a little flat). They were ok and I liked the Pistachio one better. Overall, a solid, clean and modern place to get a beverage or meal. They offer some unique items to make things interesting.
