Our dear friends invited us to come along for the Gift of Life fundraiser called Go See Do. One of the locations available was this one. We got a lovely informational tour presented by the head chef. We got to taste single origin chocolate from Madagascar, Ecuador and the Vietnam. Delicious! The tour was fantastic and they even gave us a discount to buy some chocolate to take home. Which we did! I appreciated Christopher Elbow supporting a local worthy charity so graciously and generously. The place is incredibly tidy, and the chocolate is the best I've had in my life! Going forward I will be buying all my client holiday gifts here.

We've made a tradition of walking up here as a family once a week, and together we've ordered or sampled: Cookies & Cream, Birthday Cake, Mint Chip, Chocolate Chip, Coconut, Strawberry, Berry Sorbet, Vanilla, and Lemon Basil. All are great (not crazy about the birthday cake one my kiddo always gets), the Berry Sorbet and Lemon Basil are standouts on a hot day. Their portions are generous, prices are very fair, the outdoor seating is great, and it's a very clean shop. Oh, and I recently discovered that macarons are delicious, and theirs are some of the best around. They're around $2.50 a pop and well worth it. Honestly the flavors were pretty good, but IMO there is better ice cream in KC. I do want to try them again though, it was a rainy/chilly day and I had to wait in line for about an hour so all of that likely impacted my whole experience. Something I really love about this concept though is that for your price you get two free toppings and a sauce, which I think makes them stand out and was a huge hit with my kid!
