First time here. We stopped in after a long bike ride with some friends and were hungry for ice cream. Food: When we first walked in, it didn't look like they had much in the way of ice cream. However, they actually offered a wide variety of choices, including cones, sundaes, and shakes. We ended up ordering a couple of Turtle Sundaes, a PB Lovers Sundae, and a Pumpkin Shake. It took a few minutes for our order to be prepared, and everything was delivered to our table. All of the items were excellent. They looked great, were generously filled, topped with plenty of whipped cream, and finished with a cherry on top. Everything looked like it had been made with care. Service: I'm not exactly sure, but I think the person helping us may have been the owner. They were super friendly and helpful and did a great job explaining the different sundae options. Our order was delivered to the table promptly, with an appropriate sense of urgency. After all, nobody wants the whipped cream to melt! Atmosphere: The shop is located at the end of a larger strip-mall-style building and has an outdoor seating area with several tables. Since it was a little cool outside, we chose to sit indoors. There were large tables that worked well for groups, along with big windows that let in plenty of natural light. Several other tables were occupied, and people were enjoying friendly conversations. The noise level was comfortable and made for a pleasant experience. Glad we stopped in. We've heard they make great burgers, so we'll have to come back and try those next time. read more

Food 5/5 the burger I was excellent. Cooked perfectly with great toppings. The french fries had excellent taste when salt was just right. The raspberry shake was also very good. They use frozen raspberries in the mix. This feels like a hidden gym that more people should know about. I'm at the owner. Seems like a great guy has a couple other locations around the area. Went for custard only here - it was fine but they only offer 3 flavors and no rotating flavor that I could tell . It also took over 10 minutes to get 3 ice cream orders and they were already actively melting when we got them. They seem to be more focused on food as it was packed so maybe thats what to go for here. read more

Sweet Dreams offers classic American fare and a full selection of custard. I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was fresh and delicious! A thick, filling burger with fresh toppings. Sweet Dreams also has great custard. I've thoroughly enjoyed their hot fudge sundaes. read more

The people are incredibly friendly! The food comes hot and quick! And the restaurant is very inviting with amazing decor!

Their new Greek Fries are delicious!!! This place is so darn cute with outside tables and games. Just wish they had a smaller burger for a more affordable price and that peach shake would have real peaches. Still their custard is delicious and service always comes with a smile. Good burger and frozen custard place, but the name isn't very accurate if you're like me, lactose intolerant and diabetic. Still, as usual I really enjoyed myself at first but in a couple of hours I always regret these choices. I'd say their dessert choices are better than good. I was happy to see this reopen and hoping it was going to be good, but I was really disappointed. The hamburger had no flavor but bad flavor. The french fries were undercooked. My wife had chicken tenders and I took a bite, but again no flavor. Most of what we had went right in the trash. The prices were extremely high and the service was certainly not with a smile. The bench we sat on looked like a sixth grade woodworking project gone wrong.Somebody's gonna collapse one of these picnic benches and it's not gonna be pretty. The Coke tasted fine. read more

Adorable little restaurant offering hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, gyros, French fries and onion rings. Oh and don't forget about the custard!!! Very reasonably prices and super friendly service. They also have a kids menu which is great since I had my 3 yr old niece with me. Overall, I would call this place great American food!!! Hits the spot! I got the patty melt which was delicious and I ordered my niece the chicken finger basket. We also tried the onion rings which amazing and the macaroni and cheese bites. The custard flavor of the day was peanut butter cup which was creamy deliciousness!!! If your ever in the neighborhood definitely stop by and try them out!!! read more

Lived in Hartland for a little over a year now and my biggest regret is not coming here sooner. Service was great and food was amazing.

I kissed a boy in the arcade. very fun for me. also yummy food. I recomomend it. the arcade is silly too. although they play weird slow covers of songs. they make good strawberry shakes. very slurpy yum yum. also I like the gumball machine. I never get pink ones though. oh I also kissed the same guy in the parking lot. he tastes yummy to me. just like the food here!! read more

Pricey compared to Culver's. Cost me almost $20 for a chicken sandwich, fries, and a medium vanilla shake. That's too much for lunch on a work break. But their chicken is good. The flies though - it drives me crazy. I've never been in there when I'm not dive-bombed by house flies. I picked up take out recently, and was swatting at flies just waiting for my order. I could clearly see other customers waiving at them as well so not just me. How hard could be be to hang some fly strips overnight and get them out of there?!? Sort of kills the kitchy ice cream/short order ambiance to be swatting at flies the whole time. Otherwise, I really want to love the place. Will definitely be back on occasion, the chicken is just too good. But have to keep it real and knock a couple of stars for cost and for house flies. read more

Went in and stood for several minutes listening to staff fooling around. One girl poked her head out and disappeared. Another girl came out and stood there. No hi....no can I help you....nothing. ordered a fish sandwich and a chicken sandwich and order of fries. Fish sandwich was a huge bun and a piece a fish about the size of a finger. Chicken sandwich was covered in so much grease I couldn't eat it. The fries were barely cooked some still cold as if frozen. Thought I would try again since it was under new owners. Never again. Have always had good food here until our most recent order. We usually get burgers, fries, cheese curds for the family and have been happy with the food - it was a go to for a good burger. First time experience after new ownership, ok new owners new process, people, etc order received wrong. Second experience, even worse. Ordered ice cream to go and received the wrong items for the entire order. Asked for covers for the ice cream and a carrying case and they told me they were out of stock? What kind of business is this? Terrible experience and will never go back and will tell others not to go. Lastly, as a result of no covers and no carrying tray my car has to be detailed as a result of the ice cream spilling over on my interior. read more

*Note - this is a review for their food - not custard* The family and I are on a hunt for the best burger in Lake Country. We ordered the Texas Burger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Fries, Onion Rings, and 2 Kids Cheeseburger meals all online and picked up via curbside delivery. It was a smooth contactless process. Kudos! The price was fair and the food was above average. I did order a double and only got a single. Cost me $2 but oh well. They also put a topping on one of the wrong burgers but that was a simple switcharoo. The burgers were cooked perfect and had good flavor. The buns and toppings were just so so. The onion rings and fries were just ok as well. The kids burgers were almost as large as the regular size. I suggest ordering one kids meal and splitting it in half for children under 6 or so. Heck, I could easily be fine with a kids meal and just adding some toppings. Would save a few bucks and be plenty of food. Was this place our favorite? No. Is it a good burger for a fair price, yes. We will be back and next time we will for sure try the custard. read more

Had a western burger (bacon, BBQ sauce and onion rings). For some reason, burgers of this variety are hard to find in the Milwaukee area and it's very disappointing. Aside from the tables all being dirty (blamed on the "afternoon rush" from the nearby high school) This was a very pleasant visit. The burger was excellent, fries were your standard crinkle cut. Prices are decent. Service was very good and time from order to table was very minimal. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Sweet Dreams is a local non-chain business. Things aren't super overpriced, although they could be. They have a good deal for a red gum ball you get a free ice cream. Their food is decent. Their busiest hours are 11-1 or 4-6, when almost all the tables get full in the small space. I run here from arrowhead Highschool for Phoenix swim team, and the manager is always flexible with our big order of ice creams. This place has good service. They recently got rid of the beloved claw machine, but that isn't a huge deal. read more

We had breakfast at Sweet Dreams today. The feeling at this little place was very friendly and everyone working there was happy. Happy people make dining better. Our food was tasty. Our five year old grandson ordered a chocolate chip pancake and it came out shaped like Mickey Mouse and had mini M & Ms on it. He was delighted, of course. What a lovely way to start our day! Good food but horrible service. Seems each time I go in the service is bad. This time I went to pick up a burger I ordered -- walked in, saw the white to-go bag on the counter, got my money out of my wallet, and waited...and waited... and waited. The owner was in back cooking as usual, and there was a woman partially behind a wall doing what looked like stuffing tater tots into plastic baggies -- she peeked out from behind the wall and saw me, but kept stuffing. Four times she did this. I waited, and I waited, and feared my burger getting colder by the minute. He finally said "Someone will be right with you", but still no luck. Finally after many baggies she was ready to help with her fake enthusiasm. No surprise my burger was cold. I don't care how good the food is, people who treat people this way should not get money for being that way. read more
