So happy to find this yummy spot! We arrived for a late lunch to find the restaurant empty. They offer their lunch menu until 3pm, and my mom and I shared the mixed vegetable yellow curry, adding pineapple and cashews. My brother got the sesame chicken. Both lunch portions came with choice of soup. I wish it also came with a spring roll, or the option to get it instead of soup, but it was still a great value. I didn't care for any of the standard soup offerings of egg drop, sweet and sour, or miso, but got the miso and while I still don't like it, it was better than most other Asian restaurants I've been to. Both lunch entrees were fresh tasting and delicious. The curry was delicate and perfectly spiced. Both came with fried rice and a choice of three different soups. We also ordered the appetizer of crab Rangoon and Shumai. The soup was good, neither of us finished though. The Rangoon's were pretty good, they arrived hot and creamy however we were disappointed with the dipping sauce, it was overly sweet while looking like light pink manufactured sauce. The Shumi was quite bland but came with a dip that improved the flavor by a moderate amount. The chicken and shrimp were good, but nothing amazing and the rice was similar. They both came with cooked broccoli which was pretty good. We interacted with three waiters and they were all pleasant. The prices are good the food is average + I wouldn't go out of my way to go or eagerly show the restaurant to a friend but I would eat here again. read more

I ordered from this restaurant on Doordash so I thought I should stop in to give it a shot in person. Upon walking in with my mom, we were not greeted by the host/server. In fact, I was the one to say hi. He held up two fingers to ask if we needed a table for two, still not speaking. We sat down and it seemed that the waiter slapped down the menus on our table. The table next to us was extremely loud, so much so that I left with a migraine and that my mother and I could not have a conversation over our lunch. This is not the restaurant's fault, but it did leave a negative impact on our experience. We ordered our food and I asked for a hot green tea to alleviate my headache. We never received the green tea. Additionally, it's important to note that our waiter (who was servicing other tables) must have spoken less than ten words to us the entire time, but was chatting it up with larger parties- most likely to get higher tips. Food was just all right. We left feeling very unsatisfied and almost uncomfortable. It's unfortunate we had a negative experience here. I ONLY sent back the crab rangoons. Shortly, a woman who was NOT our server or a MANAGER came to LITERALLY yell at us. I work in a restaurant & I would NEVER handle a "complaint" so disrespectfully. She waved her arms across our table and kept yelling at me "The crab rangoons are made fresh every morning & everyone loves them!" she didn't even ask what was wrong, she kept insisting I was wrong. They were extremely busy, but still managed to get our large order correct (we had 6 people) and get our food out quickly. On this particular visit, I ordered the volcano chicken and my wife had shrimp fried rice. Both were excellent! Happy hour house wine was only $4... can't go wrong there. I got the pad se lew with tofu - the bok choy wasn't really chopped and still in bunches, which was weird.
