A food truck in South Maui Garden. They serve acai bowls and smoothies. We got Rio smoothies (acai, banana, strawberries) and it was delicious! My little one drank the whole thing and didn't want to share!

Hands down the best place to get Açaí bowls in Kihei. Do not go anywhere else. Friendly service and set inside a nursery so there are lots of plants around that makes for a nice setting. 10/10 would recommend.

The store front is absolutely adorable and the line gets long quick. I sat down with my family at one of the many tables in the little food truck nook. Lots of chickens roaming about the area. I ordered a medium size Jaws with the açai base, and it came with granola, strawberry, mango, toasted coconut flakes, and honey. I added to it papaya and cacao nibs. This was the perfect way to start my day. The bowl is almost ice cold, the fruits are fresh and juicy, the honey added a sweet almost savory aspect to it a the cacao nibs were the perfect semi-sweet addition. Overall the bowl is a 5/5. I can't wait to go back and try another one.

Pretty good but don't expect spectacular!! I love getting acai bowls and unfortunately the acai flavor wasn't shining through. It was mixed with fruit juice which masked the flavor. The overall ingredient quality of the fruit and service was five stars. I care about organic ingredients so I love that they provide this quality to their customers. This food truck is located in the Maui Gardens- easy to find a table to sit at or go for a walk in the nearby neighborhood.

Sweet Hula is a food truck located in South Maui Market. We ordered two açaí bowls and they are delicious. So refreshing on a hot day. We went to Sweet Hula for breakfast want something lite and cool on this hot day. Service was kind and quick. I actually also dropped my bowl and lost my strawberries. I explained to the server what happened and she replaced my strawberries at no additional cost. I thought that was pretty awesome. I would definitely return on my next visit. (I created a collection of all the restaurants we visited on Maui from fine dining to food trucks and all in between.)

I went to this place on a Monday afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all, so I was able to walk right up to the window to place my order. I ordered a medium bowl with blue majik spirulina as the base, topped with granola, strawberries, mango, pineapple, and cacao nibs. There were plenty of seating and open picnic tables to wait at. My order came out very quickly, about four minutes after ordering. The bowl was delicious. The fruit tasted very fresh and flavorful, and everything came together with the perfect balance of sweetness. Overall, a great experience and a refreshing, satisfying bowl.

I added almond butter as well. I liked this base better than the blue majik. The base itself is sweetened so the bitterness of the matcha cuts through the sweetness of both the sugar and the coconut. I also liked the combination of the tart blueberries and just ripe mango as fruits. I think the almond butter should be a default addition as it adds a needed element of creaminess and nuttiness. - blue majik bowl (7/10): coconut and pineapple cream with spirulina topped with strawberry, blueberry, pineapple, and coconut. This was sweeter than the other one despite the acidity from the pineapple. It is aesthetically appealing because of the bright blue hue but flavorwise could have used more pineapple. Sweet Hula made bomb acai bowls. The kind we craved and it was amazing! My peeve, an acai bowl with the base that is a sorbet. Not blended acai like it should be. Thank you Sweet Hula for making a legit bowl with blended base. Located in Kihei with the food trucks. It was so good we came back the next day to get another bowl. We all ordered the Molokini with added bee pollen for my daughter and I. My son had the Molokini with cacao nibs. Must try, delicious and satisfying.

Hands down one of the best Açaí bowls I've experienced. I ordered the Jaws which has granola, mango, strawberry, and baked coconut shavings, with a honey drizzle and added bananas. The staff super awesome, nothing but positive vibes. Great ambiance it's in area with a ton of food trucks so if your with a group and need a place for different pallets it's a great hidden treasure.

Look friends, I don't usually do things 2x when visiting so the fact that I did says something. Both times I came the service was friendly, welcoming and I felt truly like I belonged. The time and care put into the acai bowl treat shows in the beautiful presentation. The fruit (both times) was SO FRESH, so sweet and soooo yummy! The perfect treat at any tine of day. Everything is delicious here and so affordable for the quality and Maui prices. And I just adore the staff, So sweet to my little keiki and he loves their makena smoothie. You may have to wait a min but please have patience with a hardworking dedicated staff with heavy foot traffic. We got smoothies and acai bowls here almost everyday. They are fresh and delicious. It is a food truck inside the South Maui Gardens. There is seating outside with shade canopies. Only caveat is don't go here when you're in a hurry, it can take 10-15 mins to get your bowl. read more

Be glad Sweet Hula is setting up shop in Kihei. Very refreshing Rio smoothie and saw lots of others enjoy açaí bowls too. Clearly using fresh fruits packing nice flavor. Doesn't hurt at all that it's right next to a serene and relaxing nursery that you can walk around while enjoying your refreshing smoothie. Enjoy!! read more

WOW! The absolute best Acai bowl I have ever had! My husband's first. "Jaws" was the name of our favorite with either peanut butter or almond butter on top! The girls were absolutely darling and explained what Acai actually was! Really cute food truck in food truck park! Exceptional nice setup with a huge variety of food trucks. Stumbling upon this food truck on our vacation in Maui was a great find. The refreshing bowl of acai and a collection of fresh fruit was a treat and a meal in itself. Strolling thought S Kihei Garden and finding this place which is close to the market and Kalama Park makes it nice. Anna, who works at Sweet Hula is so personable and she exudes happiness and is so welcoming. Came back the next few day and tried a Match Bowl, delicious but not surprised. I'm usually not an açaí person, it's too tart for me, but holy... this place was amazing! My favorite part was the actual açaí! I don't remember what bowl I ordered, but I added Macadamia butter. That Mac butter mixed with the granola and fruit toppings was life changing. Do not skip this place! I will be dreaming about my next trip to Maui just for this bowl! read more

Wow! What a wonderful surprise Sweet Hula was!! We just finished an all day self drive on the road to Hana. My wife wanted to stop at the South Maui Gardens (and I honestly did not want to stop anywhere - I just wanted to go to the our hotel and collapse) obviously we stopped at the South Maui Gardens and I saw Sweet Hula. I ordered the medium Hana bowl. It was AMAZING!!!! The only mistake I made was ordering the medium size. I just went back tonight and ordered the large size and I'm at the Andaz enjoying this simply amazing creation. What a wonderful place in a great location. Do yourself a favor and visit. read more

We went to Sweet Hula twice during our trip, and both times were absolutely amazing! The açaí bowls were so fresh, packed with flavor, and beautifully put together...it honestly might be the best açaí I've ever had. The location is super inviting and relaxing.
