Stopped by Sweet Krunch and got a solid flavor fix with a Korean twist. I went for the 10-piece wings, half soy garlic and half spicy--both flavors were bold and satisfying. The soy garlic had that perfect sweet-savory balance, while the spicy wasn't really spicy, but my tolerant level is pretty high when it comes to spiciness. The wings had a nice crisp to them, though a couple could've been a bit juicier. The bulgogi fries were loaded and flavorful, definitely a comfort-food favorite. The bulgogi itself was well-seasoned and tender, and the fries held up under all the toppings--no soggy bites here, although it could've been a bit crispier. I find it Humorous they have the nerve to ask for a tip for simply doing their job, even the self check out kiosk "recommends" a tip! Audacious! Finally there's Korean Fried Chicken in McDonough!!! Everyone was super nice and help. The vibe was relaxed and cool. We had the Korean Fried Rice with Bulgogi and the Korean Fried Chicken with sweet chili. The beef did not really have the bulgogi flavor but was still pretty good. The chicken was really good I just wish they had a flavor that is also spicy besides just getting the spicy only flavor. I will definitely be coming back!!! read more

Don't get excited about that picture you see of the chicken katsu...not even close. I've had better chicken tenders from the frozen section of the grocery store. I saw this joint on the way to my hotel in McDonough and thought, "that looks interesting." I ordered the Bulgogi Fries (hold the scallions, please) and a Thai Iced Tea (hold the boba, thank you). The fries had plenty of beef, shredded cheese and a sauce kind of like a "Thousand Island Yum Yum Sauce". Lemme tell y'all: the fries were the perfect kind of crispy and the beef was excellent! The Thai Iced Tea was delicious (I mean, damn, its Thai Iced Tea - whattya expect?) as well. The staff was super nice and seem genuinely happy to be here. Food: I ordered the Tteokbokki that included ramen, 3 pop stickers, rice cakes, fish cakes, and cheese on top. Overall it was okay, if I was really craving Tteokbokki I would order it. For my boba I got a, Passionfruit tea with lychee jelly. I had adjusted my drink to 50% knowing the lychee jelly would be sweet but I was disappointed to taste the drink it self to be really sweet. My friend ordered, the 6 piece fried chicken wings with the KBBQ sauce. I tried some and the batter of the chicken was still crispy even with the sauce tossed on top. The sauce was sweet and slightly had spice. The chicken was cooked through and still juicy. The vibe of the place does seem a little dark and quiet. They just opened 4 days ago, and I love Korean wings. I was driving to Fayetteville just to get some great Korean wings, so I stopped by. I met Vivian who was training the employees. Vicky the manager was also very welcoming. The both of them were very friendly, which was a welcome sight to see these days being a new business. Vivian took her time and explained the menu to me. I ordered to go, the soy garlic wings with a mango smoothie. My order was ready in about 10- 15 minutes. When I finally got home and sat down to eat my meal, it was soooo good. The wings were still hot and very crispy and moist on the inside. The smoothie was good also, but very sweet, maybe due to the strawberry pop drops in the bottom that was added. Overall this place is now my go to place for wings period. Thanks Vivian, Vicky, and the entire staff for making my visit a memorable one, and bringing Korean wings here.
